This could be interesting. I'm curious to know what you guys do for fun.
Tonight, I attempted to have fun by going to a magazine launch. The theme of the launch (can't believe I went a function with a theme, but it happens) was Venting. So, they had a bunch of terrible actors venting about relationships and impotence. It was truly terrible. My friends and I spent the night looking at each other with that "you gotta be kidding me" look. Then we went for drinks at our usual hang out. Discovered a new martini. Very tasty. And now I'm home. That was my night. Anyone else care to share?

gross. actors venting. I was here. I've done things on other nights, but not this one. aren't you glad I shared? I must admit, however, that I have had many deep thoughts, and earth shattering revelations, as i am wont to do. That's a pretty usual occurrence, though. tonight it was deeper than most nights. I once again saw the banal-itude of humanity, and how there are just things that most people won't ever understand. quite the productive evening, no? What's the new martini? Now that, is a discovery worth talking about!

Hey, who are you referring to?
the martini? I guess just the martini. Humanity? I guess just humanity. deep thoughts? just deep thoughts. Banality? I guess just banality.Etc.

My friends heard the description of the contents of the martini but I didn't. They were all oohing and ahing over it. So, without knowing what was in it, I ordered one. It had a lime flavor to it. A really nice pale green colour. Maybe we should call it "I wouldn't trade you for jade or for diamonds!" or maybe just shorten it to "Jade and Diamonds". But I don't know what really was in it. I think vodka, I think I heard him say lime paste. Not sure what that really is and a bit of soda. It was very good though.
A night of self discovery. Those nights usually suck the life out of me. I tend to get into thoughts of self deprication. It's one of my many patterns. I agree with you about the "banalitude of humanity". Sigh... maybe you should have a drink! That might take the edge off. Today was exhausting though. The strange hostile activity towards me on The Ledge kinda knocked me on my ass. Weird that I would let it, since this isn't real life. These are filtered, safe connections being made. We can backspace. We can edit. Real life isn't like this.

Well, one could just mosey on over to the other thread and come to their own conclusions about that.
Tonight? I learned that people are really. Really. Lame.
But I'm better than everyone already, so who cares. :wavey:

It's already tomorow night for me and my memory doesn't stretch back far enough to recall what I did last night. Oh wait, I believe I might have disposed of the bodies I hacked up earlier as I made my way to hosting my regular late night variety show. I think I also took a shower.
The shower was to remove the blood? Are the bodies tucked away somewhere real good? You don't want anyone finding a head now! Make sure you put them somewhere real good. Real secret like!

Try going to a magazine launch with nerdlinger actors talking about relationships all night. Over acting. And an audience that was TOTALLY into it for some strange reason. That's what lame is! The drinks got me through the night!

That martini sounds good! I like lime. And, believe me, sweetie, I had a drink. yeah, don't let the ledge get you down, though it could be soul sucking, if you let it be. Self deprecation sucks, but it's a Cancer pitfall. But don't worry, we're just as good as others, except usually without the flaming, heinous, larger than life egos. I say, the stupid person, is the one that thinks they're the best, the one that thinks they have nothing left to learn. That is the person to really feel bad for. You know, the ones with no humility, the ones who think they are always right? hehehehehehe. Luckily, though, i had a pretty fun night, because, in my head, there is always something cool going on!

You are so right about people who think they are "simply the best! better than all the rest!" So true. They believe the have nothing left to gain. Nothing left to learn. Nothing left to teach. In reality, they just have nothing left to offer. What a terribly lonely existence that would be. :(

Hee. That's not really my scene (seeing as though I'm a teenager, my "scene" is pretty much either staying home or hanging out with friends), but I'm sure I'd be reaching for the gas can. I hate when people talk about relationships, particularly if that's all. they. talk. about. Bleh.
That does sound really lame, though. I've come to be sort of a cynic in the past few years, so I pretty much think anything's lame. Liiiiiike. Fleetwood Mac could make a new album. And I'd be here all, "Laaaaame." Lindsey & Kristen could have another kid. Me: "Laaame." Etc.
The word "lame" is pretty much my favorite word! I think people should use it more and especially when you extend it to "laaaaaaaaaaame" it makes it all the more funny! :D

My sister is an actor. I can't stand them. Every single thing is all about "how does this make me feel?". I p****ing hate them! Nothing is seperate from their emotional state and they'll just walk all over you pretending they give a **** but are actually just looking to for new ways to feel, or to pretend to feel. Well perhaps it's just the ones I knew but they weren't real people. It was so patronising. Studying other people to see what it's like to be them but of course they're so far above those 'real people' in their reality that they wouldn't know what it's like to be them. Nah, I just hate my sister but I'll join in on any actor bashing.
I remember the drama nerds in highschool! NIGHTMARE!!! They're kinda like mormons! Charades and fruit punch is their idea of a good time! My idea of a good time: martinis and talkin' trash!

I like actors. well, I don't like them, but I like the concept. Also, it's my dream job. But I abandoned it when i realized i couldn't stand to be around actors. sad story, no? But i have just the same hate for music snobs, or in general, people who think they are smarter or better than others.

I'm riding that, tonight, because I think it's mean, and not worthy, to be clannish, and to judge people for stupid reasons. I don't love to be judged, and i don't think others do, either. Not that I don't do it, but I try to be better, whereas some people try to be meaner. it's like, propogating non acceptance and meanness, for arbitrary reasons. My sister had (before she conveniently relocated) a tendency to completely ignore me then she'd suddenly gains an interest in my 'issues'. Just as suddenly she'd then ignore me again or tell me to go away. That's the actor just wanting some subject matter to work with. She gets away with pretending she's genuine because obviously she's good at it but she would never really care about the people she had fooled. She would basically hang around people because they could provide her with what she needed. I got the impression her acting friends were just the same so this is why I hate them. Well method actors atleast. Oh but they're so wonderful apparently.
I suspect you are right. Actors have made me sick in the past, though I love to act. Do you care about her? if not, then i'd say it was equal opportunity yuckiness. But I wasn't there, so I don't really know. And, of course, successful actors are often notorious users. Another thing I don't like. of course, some just make it on talent, etc. But I think, for the most part, you have to step on some toes to get to the top. *shudder*
Word........

Broad Ripple is very cool. Wait 'till you get to go to the bars there! It's always a good time. One of my fave's is the Alley Cat. A little dive in a dark alley. They've recently remodeled it.
Hope your moms don't back out. Have fun!

Clint scored all of Million Dollar Baby, too, btw....
Last night I chilled out at home until about midnight, trying to ward off a cold, when I decided to haul ass to the Double Door to see the Kills with all my friends from work. I then stayed crabby the rest of the night because I couldn't so much as hold a drink in my hand, which is why I didn't want to go in the first place. But tonight I'm going with my kinda/sorta boyfriend to see one of the nights of the week long stand that Bob Dylan & Merle Haggard are playing, which will be awesome.

Well last night (Friday) I was on call for work (in case the Pope died...I had to be ready to get the station immediatly to get special coverage on the air) - but in the meantime I went to Kohl's and bought a Farberware pan and pot cook set that was on sale (about 50% off!!!) - I didn't have any good cookware so now I'm SO excited!!! Then I came home, unpacked my cookware, played with my dog, read and went to bed (I know - I'm SO exciting and have probably made everyone wish they were me ;) )
Tonight? I am not feeling well - I've had a scratchy throat for a few days so I'm probably just going to hang out and rent movies and do nothing! My dog and I will lie around and watch the movies :D

Today I do the SAME exact thing, SAME exact hours.
And tomorrow

Yesterday, I wore my Siouxsie shirt and got many comments along the lines of "The hell?" I also fought with three teachers, called someone a douche in the middle of a busy street, and went to a collectible store and swooned over the Marilyn Monroe swag they had. I came home and listened to the Siffl and Olly songs that a dear friend sent me. I giggled like a schoolgirl in sex ed. I wandered around my house aimlessly, and ate a lot of pizza and fries, and didn't feel guilty because of my awexome metabolism. I learned that sometimes I need to shut the hell up, but I also learned that I really hate humanity, and that it's near impossible to flee the lames of this world. I also learned that I have the best friends a girl could ever want, and that the music of Jeff Buckley makes me cry like wo. So pretty.
Today's plans are to help a friend kick the ass of an ex-"friend", and we're also working on a school project. Myself? I'm going to go second-hand shopping, and I'm going to prank-call my ex. Fun fun fun!

I went out with a friend last night around 6PM. We went to a place called Iggy's which is an eatery on the beach. We got some clam cakes and I had chicken fingers, too.
I took my 35mm camera and tried to get a few sunset photos but there was really no sunset. I snapped a few pics but that was it. We then went to Stop and Shop and then we went to Baskin Robbbins/Dunkin Donuts. I tried a new flavor called Chocolate Eclair and I did not like it. I should have stuck to the Dunkin Donut Coffee flavored ice cream. :)
That was my exciting night.
I am kind of mad today. It is raining cats and dogs all day. I wanted to go to zoo to take some pictures with my new slide film. I can get in free only on the first Saturday of the month which is today. Needless to say I won't be going. I got f**ked out of my free zoo day.

I'm really enjoying reading what you guys do in your evenings. Total variety. Some people beating up ex-friends. Some people waiting to report the death of the Pope. Some people takin' it easy. Totally all over the map! It's great! And I kinda get the feeling that hatchets have been buried too. So, that's good!
Tonight: It's my mom's birthday. My parents are in town, so, we are going to a dreamy Chinese restaurant with my whole family. After that, my sister and I are going to a house party hosted by art students. Should be an interesting crowd. When I was in art school, I swooned over all the cute art boys with paint on their forearms! Oh my! So, we'll see what happens tonight. :p

Last night was dinner out (Danny's a local place here. Incredible soup & salad bar  ), then we walked the dog since it was really nice out. Afterwards, we moved some furniture around (with the remodelling happening, I have to move a bunch of stuff for a bit) & played video games (Millipede, Archanoid & a game similar to Spider Fighter.) Love old school video games! :)
Tonight will be more furniture moving, maybe shopping (hubby needs clothes for work) and dinner & drinks with friends from out of town.

This is weird because I was thinking about this last night. "If you can let go of your judgement of others, you can be free." If you're overly judgemental of others, then you're VERY hard on yourself. It's not a fun place to be. Been there and back.
Last night I went to see Duran Duran! Now THAT was fabulous.

I went out today and bought some plants for my garden and false eyelashes for a do I'm going to next week. An odd combination of goods I know. I don't actually need them seeing as I am blessed in the eyelash department but I am going to try and attempt to get a kind of 60s look.
What type did you get? I did this for Halloween and my natural lashes were longer than the false ones! They did give my lashes an extra thick look, but not much. I really needed the dramatic over the top ones but they were already sold out. I looked fab anyway. ;)
Right now I'm reading the Ledge listing to Neil Diamond LOL but later I'm going to the cinema. I kinda wanted to see Ring 2 but I know I won't like it as much the Japanese version, so we decided on The Machinist instead.
My roommate loves him and listens. I like him well enough but don't own any of his stuff, could just borrow hers if I had to. "Me and Neil'll be hangin' out with the Dream King. Neil says hi by the way." Isn't Tori singing about him in Tear in your Hand?
Right now I'm feeling really old because I saw Jeff Buckley live back in the day, and it's weird to think that the people who mentioned him probably don't even remember when he was alive. Just the other day I met an 11 year old who liked Nirvana and he wouldn't have even been born when they were around. It's very cool but it's weird too. Wow, I hate getting old...
Welcome to the club, hon. At Duran Duran last night there were kids there singing all the old songs who weren't even born when they came out. Of course that's not quite the same as Buckley, his loss was tragic. Good thing is, the kids know their music!

Seriously, they were awesome. They had a big screen behind them and did some stuff with that, including some animation of themselves which was neat. Also some stuff having their own camera up there and making faces on the big screen, kinda silly. Simon is quite the showman, John is still sexy. Andy Taylor was not there because his dad died :(. Simon sounded really good as did the entire band. They were the first musical act at the new arena (small) at Boston University. I was kind of far away from the stage so it might as well have been 1983, total time warp!

Did you enjoy the set list? Did they do many new songs? Did you squeal like a girl (wait, you are a girl  ) when they did your old faves? aww, I wish you were closer. Still, still, still. awesome. Ha, about all the younger kids - I wonder if thats how the older FM fans feel when they see us at the concerts... :p Oh, did you see any cute boys? :D

SLIDE FILM<3<3<3 A cool thing to do with Slide film is to process it with color chemicals, but it's sort of difficult to do. You have to load the film into the camera in complete darkness, and you have to tell the developer that it's slide film because they have to develop it in complete darkness.
When you process slide film with color chemicals, it's called "Cross-processing" and it's sort of the equivalent of kicking the saturation up a bunch. If you have Matchbox Twenty's "Mad Season" album, the pictures in it were cross-processed. Here're some websites with more info: a few examples (http://www.planetneil.com/faq/cross-processing.html), another example (http://www.digitalfilmtools.com/55mm/55mmcrossproc.htm).
Sorry. I had to geek out over slide film. ;) Sorry you couldn't go!!
I am going to take the film to a photo lab here and I am going to have them put the images on a CD so that I can make prints. I have to find a pretty decent day to take some pictures, however.
I have my photography class on Monday night. We are going to get a roll of slide film from our teacher and we will shoot whatever assignment he gives us. Then we bring it back to him the next week so that he can get it processed for
us. Then the following week he will put our photos up on the projector for all to see.
I got some slide film myself just to see what it looked like. Now I have nothing to shoot thanks to the rain. Maybe tomorrow will be nice. I am still excited about my class, anyway. :blob1:
Thanks for the links I will have to check them out.

Glad you're having fun! :D
You've actually given me the urge to go out and find some slide film and go to the zoo to take pictures & cross-process them. Hee. I'm such a geek. x_x
:p I guess that you having good weather where you are. Actually, I might have to go next week depending on what the assignment might be. I have to pay $10.00 to get in next week but I would have to go then anyway. I was just trying to get a jump start and get some practice. I like to take advantage of things that are free to me.
Good luck with your photos. You will have to post some!

Neil Diamond is great. When I was younger, me and my fellow punk-rock best friend used to sneakily borrow her dad's Neil Diamond greatest hits album to listen to. It was our guilty secret inbetween listening to Nirvana and The Clash.
Get out of my head, Sharon. I LOVE NEIL DIAMOND. I cleaned the house just this morning while dancing around in my underwear to him. A friend tried to make fun of me last week because he was in my office for awhile, and my iPod was on shuffle and was playing tracks like the Clash, and Rilo Kiley, and Radiohead, and Cat Power- and "You Got To Me" came on. I just gave him a look to warn him to step off. My boss is buying me Neil Diamond tickets for this summer. I am totally unashamed of my love for him.

I still love you, though, Hayley. Even if you like Neil Diamond. R LUV IS SEW PUR!!!!
I don't think he's a stud!!!! He's simply one of the best songwriters of the 60's. A total pop genius. Until you get to stuff like "America" or (gag) "Turn on the Heartlights" or whatever that E.T. song was.
You be nice to me, or I feel a Neil Diamond mix CD is in your future.

See I knew Neil Diamond was cool really! My friends know not to tease me about it now and I guarantee you, put on Sweet Caroline and even the haters will end up singing along. He's playing here in London soon too and I am seriously thinking of going. I won't deny he's cheesy but he's such a fantastic songwriter.
Btw I have all those bands on my iPod too!
You can't deny Sweet Caroline. Or You Got To Me. Or Red Red Wine. Or Solitary Man. Or I'm A Believer. etc, etc, etc. He was such a great songwriter.
Neil Diamond is totally cool. All the haters can just step off.

Yesterday was fun. I went to a friends to play poker. Sat over there for hours and wound up loosing my ass.... but it was great fun. Then, my family calls and were all going up to the steakhouse. So I had to go. My uncle bought my mom this HUGE Long Island Iced Tea.... she was drunk. Afterwords, my uncle and I sat around and shot some Tequila, then we went to the bar and had a few beers. It was great. I don't hang out with my uncle very often. He's a pretty cool guy. I'm supposed to go to the park with some friends today, and the kids to fly kites. Then, we're supposed to go fishing for a little bit. But I don't know if I want to go because the house has been neglected. I need to do laundry..... :distress:

I have a big problem with napping at inapropriate times (say, from 7-10 at night, on workdays) then staying up too late. On weekends the inapropriate nap usually comes a little earlier, but the results are the same. I get so much more done at night, though. For instance, right now, it is 5:30. I feel very nappish. But I only got up at 10:45 anyways. Anyway, a bit frustrating, but not as frustrating as never being able to sleep.

I force myself to stay awake even if I'm so tired I feel like I'm going to day. Take now for instance. Seriously, I could go to bed right now, but I know, I'd be screwed if I did. I used to do what you do and take naps after work and wake up at like 10:00 or 11:00. It seriously sucks when you wake up but the sleep you have is so restful at the time! Last night I watched Closer for the second time. The first time I saw it, I remember feeling pretty defeatist about relationships (the fact that it seems being in one is as bad as being without one). But I went on with my life business as usual. But last night when I saw it, it really affected me in a bad way. It made me think that there is just no hope. There is no love. There are no connections. It made me very sad - so sad that I downloaded Damien Rice's "Blowers Daughter" and cried my eyes out. I haven't cried for a really long time. I actually cried myself to sleep. This is something I haven't done since college I think. So, today, I'm kinda under water. Tired. Bitchy. Sad. Lame. Love is hard to find. :(

I kid, I kid. It's actually *much* better than I had originally thought when I saw it in the theater. Mr. Ed is still absolutely atrocious, though. You just know she was horrified when she had to say those lines about come and oral sex, you can see it on her face when she's yelling at Clive Owen. But it's saved simply for the sex chatroom scene and the scene in the lap dance room; you could cut the tension in that scene with a knife, it was phenomenal. Love Natalie Portman, love Clive Owen, and love Jude Law (almost full-frontal at the end!). Too bad Cate Blanchett dropped out and they gave her role to Mr. Ed.

Yes, muah. That ****e is just a movie, there is love in the world it is just not as easy as scandal to exploit on the big screen. However, there is plenty of bunk out there too, hence my hesitation to begin dating after already being single for 3 1/2 mos. It's really confusing and messy and sometimes I just prefer my simple life with my kitty, lol. But spring is coming so that is the time for mating, uh, dating that is. ;)
The great thing about crying is how cleansing it can be, it really helps you to feel better. I haven't done it for a while. I mourned my relationship while I was still in it so by the time I was out, I was done. I get sad though because it's like, what the hell happened to it? It's just gone. Oh crap, here come the tears. Good ol' Cancer.
Um, i'm filled with ennui, but not exactly sad, lately. When my mind is full of thought, it doesn't make me tired, but awake. Most things boil down to nutrition. :D Maybe it's the fact that last night I "only" got about 6-7 hours of sleep? hehehehe.
I hope you feel better soon. Maybe you should read some Calvin and Hobbes to cheer you up. That's what I like to do. Also, if you are in a funk, some vigorous exercise will provide your body with endorphins, which will elevate your mood. Woiks every time.

Oh, no! I'm so sorry! skin cancer is really dangerous, too! I hope he goes to the doctor and gets treated. :( My grandpa on my dad's side had a touch of skin cancer, too. He is lighter than me, with blue eyes. He's fine now, though. He can still kick our ass at tennis.
He went to the doctor and had a biopsy taken. The doctor's office called back saying they needed him to come in. They had told him that he would hear nothing if it was nothing. But he is a strange little man and I asked him about it the other night and he said, "Look, it's almost healed! It's coming along. Just a little nick, I guess." Total denial! He better go to the doctor because it didn't look good to me at all. Very red. Very weird looking (weird looking like Alanis Morrissette - did any of you watch Duckman? If you did, you'll get the weird looking Alanis Morrissette reference)!

He needs to go back, cause skin cancer can spread very quickly. sheesh.

It was the episode where Bernice became a rock star and the guy from Deaf Mute Records told her she could be the new Alanis Morrissette but less weird looking! So goddamn funny!!! The tick was super funny too. I love those dark, weird cartoons - the nerdlinger I am!

Duckman hasn't been released on DVD yet. I taped two tapes full when it was on a cartoon network but it's long gone now! Crap! I should bring it to Vegas and we can sit in a hotel room and watch it. Wouldn't that be fun?!!! I'M TOTALLY KIDDING! I'm hoping to put that whole, "what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas thing" and watching cartoons in a hotel room, ain't gonna make that happen!

I've done it before but this was the first year I filed on my own. Apparently since I was out of school for an entire year, I need to fill out a new FAFSA and not a renewal (according to my parents accountant). I'm hoping I get money :-/ Metal spork. Metal. Oh, yeah, that does suck. It's so much more convenient online, now, though. When i was first starting college, we had to carry our pencils uphill both ways to the FAFSA form in the snow, without shoes, and fill it out manually.
Metal Spork?! Could there be such a wonderful invention? I've never seen one.....

I would cry, too, if I was forced to endure Closer a second time. :o
Ed.
I actually liked horseface for the first time EVER when I saw her in Closer. But now that you say Cate Blanchett was supposed to play her role, it makes me think the horse whisperer should have been dragged out to pasture, shot and made into glue! Cate would have been much better!

I like her when she doesn't try to be a serious actress. When she tries to act like one, I feel like I'm gonna ralph. She was entertaining in Erin Brockovich, I thought, but not Oscar worthy. They robbed Ellen Burstyn that year. -_-
Blanchett would have kicked ass. I loved Portman, but Maggie Gyllenhall played her role in one of the stage productions and I've always wondered how she would have done in the movie. One of the biggest problems I had with the movie was the transition from when Jude Law and Natalie Portman meet to the photo shoot with Mr. Ed. His character completely changed instantly and it just didn't translate well, in my opinion. Went from being a nice guy to a total prick. I didn't like they how they changed the ending, either, but this is Hollywood and they have to have a happy one.

What was the actual ending supposed to be? I didn't think it ended well at all. It left it open. You know The Horse Whisperer and what's his f*ck don't stay together. Natalie Portman was the only one who had any sort of closure, the only reason being that she moved to another continent. I actually wasn't that impressed with her performance. The actual ending had Alice getting run over and killed by a car back in New York, Larry and Anna split up once again, and it ends with Larry, Anna, and Dan having a picnic and talking about Alice. Nichols supposedly filmed it, but then cut it out after test audiences balked at it. Test audiences? Suck ass. Their opinions butcher what could be great films.
It was acted, I see what you mean. But I think it's to be expected a little from plays. I don't think I've seen a film version of any play that didn't seem acted a bit; Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf, while fantastic, is very acted. The only one I disliked was Mr. Ed, she is just horrific. I've always liked Portman and that scene between her and Owen in the lap dance lounge was breathtaking. Even though I had seen the play, I was on the edge of my seat expecting him to slap her at any moment. Jude Law is just a fantastic actor, I love him. He's got this air on intellectualism to him that is incredibly irresistible to me.
That Damien Rice song, though, is ATROCIOUS. I despise it.

I didn't find it obvious. Ripley was insane, I couldn't decide on whether he was gay or whether he was just watching him like that because he was so obsessed with him; I'm not sure if it was sexual or not.
Great movie. I usually hate Minghella, but that was a good one. Cold Mountain was decent (Jude Law, Nicole Kidman, and Renee Zellweger!), but then I saw the deleted scenes on DVD and was stunned that he cut them out. It would have been a masterpiece if he had left them in.

I like them here, because riding a bike next to all the crazy car drivers, on streets, makes me nervous. With Are Bees (rollerblades) I can stay on the sidewalk. :woohoo:
Yes, hills suck - I have to "ski" down them (back and forth). but actually, my new rollerblades are not good for hills, they are too fast. :(
Inn. Eee. Ways.
My true dorkiness is coming through now! And screw you AMERICAN!!! It's not all ice up here! Skating: the last time I skated, I had to hold onto the edges of the rink the whole time. That was in like junior high or do you Americans call it middle school? When I was a little ****, I used to use a chair to learn how to skate and I never learned how to skate. I would probably still hold a chair if I skated today! Can you rollerblade with a walker?? :p

Now I am watching X Files and having a cocktail, and anticipating getting a "new" car tomorrow.

Oh. It's the same thing, of how I made my friend break her arm, in fourth grade, assuming everyone was as coordinated as me.
Stay off the Skates. I repeat. No Skates for you!!!!!
The first time I ice skated, it was for a second grade field trip. I just jetted off, almost immediately. :o I was sooooo there.
heh. well. no, you can't skate with a walker, it really defeats the purpose of speed and funness. :sorry:
:wavey:
And, no, we call it Junior high.

I figured I would be banished from skating! I told you, I'm completely incapable of anything "sporty". I swim, but really, if you saw me swim, you'd be doing this BIG TIME!!! -------->

what I want to know, is, where are all the gay guys who like sports? I know they are somewhere. C'mon, can't a girl get a softball/frisbee buddy? Who doesn't try to sleep with her? sheesh.

Sorry Tootz! No dice! But I'll have a martini with you in a lounge somewhere. You won't be dragging my skinny ass outside to do any of these "sports" you speak of!

Hellyah! I'm still there! You can just blow me off when i try to instigate a game of catch with a balled up napkin. No big.
I like swimming a lot, too.
Just don't tell me I should've worn something else, or my shoes are ugly, or anything, and it will be all graveh.

I came home from work, had a bagel with cream cheese and a ham sandwich, did shodaigyo meditation (I think), and now I'm sitting here in my jammies listening to Chet Baker.

School was lame, per usual. I arrived on time [gasp], completed my work and then some, did some PSSA testing, wandered around aimlessly afterwards in order to avoid going home, and checked my email when I did get home. It was gorgeous out, although it was really hot. Whatev.
Now, I'm just chillin' and Photoshopping. I'm working on Greg's and Hayley's mix CDs, too. <3

Normal day. Sat around in Photography. Hated Theory of Knowledge. Finished a presentation in History. Helped out my Photography teacher.
Found stuff out on the bus that I would have rather not known. Got home, took a nap, and now I'm emoing out. Kill me now, please. At least one of Hayley's mixes is getting another spin.
Aww, don't cry, emo kid. You'll get an A in history. Hee.
I watched TV tonight. What else does anyone DO on Wednesdays when Lost & Alias are pwning? Diss, did you see it? Isabella Rosselini in the preview for next week. It's all starting to get... gee... interesting! Woot.

Isabella!!!!!!!! Thank gawd! I loathe how they just left us hanging about her. Hope they give her a lot to do. Now I just need a fix of Will and all will be well with the world. And did you hear? Garner is directing the season finale. Should be interesting. I cannot wait for the return of SpyMommy, I get orgasmic just thinking of it.
I taped it tonight. I'm currently on episode 11 of this season, I have to burn the rest tonight so that I can watch them over the weekend.

It's not the season finale... her ep is scheduled for May 11th and the finale is May 25th... I'm curious to see it, though- yay for her. The very last spoiler I read was that someone quite interesting was going to pop up in it. After tonight's episode- I am staying the hell away from the spoilers.
Just wait until you get to Tuesday...mmm. Alias-y goodness. The only episodes I've enjoyed more than that one were Sark's... mmm. Sarky goodness.

Yup, I read it wrong in the TV Guide. The excitement of having Lena back was just too powerfully overwhelming, I guess I couldn't read correctly.
Now I'm intrigued in regards to who is going to pop up. Do you know exactly? No, forget it, don't tell me if you do. I want to be surprised. The way things are shaping up, I think it's finally getting its footing back. It was a long wait, but it was worth it.

I simply cannot get over the fact that he's younger than I am and is from the south. Christ, I was shocked when I read that a couple of years ago.

I'll tell you if you want to know. It's not like a big SHOCK- it's just cool, that's all. It's in flashback, if that changes anything and you want to know!
He's from Oregon, actually... raising my hand as a David Anders whore... he just turned 24 a couple of weeks ago. It's amazing. He was 20 (!) when he started as Sark. God, he's awesome. He has more chemistry than anyone on that show- and he has it with WHOEVER he's on camera with. He even makes VAUGHN electrifying.
I mean, you saw his eps. The scenes with Vaughn in the jail, and with the champagne were classic. And the lime. Hee. I love him.

Oh, it's not the History project. I know we (it was a group project/presentation) did well on it, because he said our group did the best research out of all of them. So woot for that, I suppose.
I'm sure it's not! I just like to joke that the only thing 3m0 kidz have to cry 3m0 t3arz about is whether or not they'll get a good grade in history class.

Ohhhh tonight I got to work. I live in NJ and it was 75 degrees and sunny, so I got busy after dark and was busy all night! I am worn.
I got MY CAR! A 98 Saturn, only 40k miles and it runs great. It's so clean and perfect. I *heart* my car. :)
I also saw my mom and her cats. I love cats. I miss my cat.
That's about it.

I got a SL2 and it's a royal sparkly blue
It's great. Better than a new car because it's just worn in at 40K miles LOL

I found out tonight that someone else called me about my resume! And this one is one of the law offices, so that is very exciting. :) This is pretty reassuring, I only sent out 4-5 resumes, and have gotten two quick responses. So I'm pretty excited. Especially considering today at work, I had about, maybe 1 1/2 hours of actual work to do - and I tried to stretch that out, so...and the rest of the 4 hours, I was apparently supposed to try to find something to clean, or whatever. I don't mind cleaning up, and finding things to do, but when it's constant, and there is never anything to do, I get really pissed. you know that feeling where your soul is being sucked from your body?
Yep.
Oh! And the interview I went on, she said she got tons of resume's, and only picked 5. so that was nice - although I'm not sure how the interview went, they didn't seem to interested. But that was not a law office, so if I don't get it, I won't be terribly devastated. :)
