In my case, most of the time I'm identified with Chandler Bing from Friends.
And you?

I've been described as being just like Kramer from Seinfeld. But I see myself as Robert Barone.

when i was young, Kirstey from cheers.
then Elaine from seinfeld
various other random ones that i've forgotten.
Yay. Oh, and separate, independent people compared me to Gwen when I was younger. I really don't get that. I think they said something about my expressions, but I really am not sure what it was all about.

In my younger days, Baby from "Dirty Dancing" and now sometimes Rachel from "Friends", only because I used to have the "Rachel" haircut and because I kind of dress like her, I don't know, I guess I dress young for my age.

Basil Fawlty. Actually that's my father, he ran a cafe was accused of being Basil a number of times.

I identify with Gumby from the Monty Python sketches.

Your father was accused of being Basil? Your father ran a cafe? There's so much I do not know.

No character, but last night someone finally made a celebrity comparison that I thought worked. Randomly, people have said I look like Keanu, and I don't see it. But last night, a friend's wife said I looked like a Spanish Keanu Reeves. That, I can kinda see. And talk about flattered. Sheesh.

Yes you silly girl-from-the-show-about-a-creek. To me you're the girl from The Ice Storm and Wonder Boys but of course with that all-important less square jaw. But you don't identify with her do you? Much like I don't identify with a Juliette Lewis/Kelly Osbourne hybrid. Actually I do identify with the former's retarded tendencies.

Anyhoo, yes my father had some sort of mid-life crisis and one day quit his job as.....whatever it was, I always thought he was an air traffic controller but then I think it turned out he was in charge of the systems that ran the air traffic control. Bleh whatever, I have a memory was watching Full House from the top of that tower, oh and those big rooms with all the radars were cool, I thought it was some sort of secret intelligence thing. But he quit one day, bought a cafe, found that customer service is no place for Nazis and pissed off to the country.....and then came back *sigh*. That's your little lesson about Lux for the day.

He had a tendency to piss off and have arguments with half of the customers and randomly decide he adored the other half, not leaving them alone until they managed to squeeze out the door. The ones he didn't like were named "Oi!!". I remember one of the last days he had it, I had to come out and calm down a verbal yelling match that was about to turn into some sort of punch-up. But this is my father we're talking about, not your average 'bloke'.

Thanks for my lesson. I do need to know these things, you know. Now your lesson: My father is an attorney. I might have already told you that. He is the City Attorney of Brea, Upland, Rancho Cucamonga, La Mirada, Los Angeles, and Buena Park. Which means he travels a lot and goes to court fighting for a city's water, real estate, business rights, etc. That's all I know. I've been to his office a few times, which just a lot of Lennon paintings and pictures of his children. I like it anyway.

No, I don't identify with her. Well, I do identify with Joey in a lot of ways. When that show came out, I was exactly like Joey. The mannerisms she used for that show are like mine as well. I do a lot with her Wonder Boys character too, and the Ice Storm one, although that character wasn't exactly developed in the movie. Both good films, by the way.

When I was a teenager it was Rachel from "Friends" because I was a spoiled brat (well maybe I still am), but now it's Karen from "Will and Grace". Damn proud of it.

Heh, I forget about the Zimmerman thing, and then it shocks me every time I remember it. My father just told me another cool story yesterday. Although I'm not a fan of Sonny and Cher, I found it cool. When my dad and his ex-wife were having their second daughter (my older sister, she's about 35), Sonny and Cher were having their daughter Chastity next door. My dad was hanging out with Sonny Bono, and said he was an asshole. Apparently he liked Cher though. Anyway, cool story I thought.

Aww, that's so sweet that you watched Wonder Boys just for me. Thank you! Weird story actually: the other day I was actually in the middle of getting laid (can I say that on the Ledge?) and VH1 classic was on in the background, and Led Zeppelin came on and I for a moment thought of you. VERY WEIRD. Ordinarily, it would just turn me on more. But no, I thought of you. I apologize if that story disturbs you. It was extremely inconvenient for me.

Oh, and also I would chat with you right now but I'm in the middle of a fierce battle for U2 tickets on eBay.

Have we seen a picture of you? I didn't look in that picture thread because it was too far gone for me to bother keeping up.

A friend of mine all of a sudden was continually getting comments about how much he looked like Hayden Christiansen. Everyone, my mother and sister (no idea how my mother knew who that was.....), his relatives, his mother and there were other odd people. The problem here is that he has somewhat of a celebrity crush on Hayden Christiansen and so whenever this is mentioned it's disturbing to the point of shuddering. He has a small picture on his wall for the occasional indulgence and it's not pleasant to have someone point at it and say "it's you!".

Scott? Because he definitely does.

I love Jackie from That 70's Show and Karen from Will and Grace. I think I resemble them in looks and I tend to be bossy, witty and take life as it comes. Unfortunately, I think I am too much like a Marie Osmond type, the goodie-two-shoes type of gal and been told this too many times. I've gotten the Lilith thing in the past only because I used to remain stone faced all the time. My friend at work called me Lillith because I was so expressionless. This was a defense mechanism I developed so that no one would know what I was thinking/feeling at home. Thank God I am not like that anymore! Lilith rocks though.

A few people have called me Grace cuz I'm silly like that. I sort of look like her too, round face, big eyes, heart-shaped mouth. No red hair though.

I identified with what's her face from My So Called Life because she was always so miserable, that was me. Plus she liked to hang out with offbeat peeps even though she was kinda normal, also me. Had crush on unattainable guy, me. Etc.

I don't know, I guess for me the closest is Grace right now. My roommate says it's my expressions more than anything that are like her. "That was so Grace".

I got likened to Jerry Seinfeld by a fellow Ledgie not long ago, mainly due to my ability to keep a calm head when others lose theirs, then totally freak out over something trivial...

Been likened to a few british tv stars when I was younger too.. Ross Kemp mainly (Although I just shaved my head back then, he's a real bald dude...)

I'm never told I look like anyone. People say my long hair reminds them of country star Crystal Gayle, although very few know her name!!!

Some (a lot) say my attitude is VERY Janeane Garofalo-like because of the cynicism, but that was back in high school.

After being exposed to the show Friends for 10 years, I have developed a very Phoebe-like flightiness, mixed with a Chandler-like comedy. Unfortunately I remember every funny thing I hear on that show and add it to my vocabulary!

When I saw Monster with Charlize Theron, who put on 30 pounds to play the role, there's a scene where she's undressed and her figure looked eerily like mine. So I guess if I hit the gym, I'll look like her normally?

When I asked my boyfriend, "Honey, who on TV/movies am I most like", he blurts out "Danny Devito!". I almost pissed myself laughing. I said "What? Why?" but he had no answer for. I am attempting to attach a photo of us "Twins".

Someone tell me who I best match with.

But no one ever looked a show or movie and said this person was LIKE me...except maybe back in the day when my so called life was one...but in my warped 16 year old head I probably liked that.

I've also been told (by someone I believe is blind, but who I will cherish forever) that I look like Catherine Zeta-Jones. I wish.

I've actually been asking people what TV or movie person I resemble in any way for the sake of this thread, and no one can think of anyone.

I personally think I'm like Mary Richards on "Mary Tyler Moore", though not as pretty as she was back then at all. I'm also not as consistently perky as she was, but I definitely think I have that, "I'm the nervous, fidgety, goody-goody, not into risk-taking, endlessly insecure dame" thing going on.

This is a different thing, but when I was younger, someone told me I sing just like Reba McEntire, but that's certainly NOT true.
