Anyone wanna send this chick some cash

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=1468&item=5569638967&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW

Actually, if that is the only way she can go, more power to her for having the sand to go for it

Here is the text:

This is MY story.....

My name is Rhiannon* and I am 26 years old. I live in a small town in West Central Florida. I have been a Stevie fan for as long as I can remember. Something about the way she looks, sings, talks, etc. It takes my breath away. I have always dreamed of seeing her in concert, but like alot of people I never have had the money. In October 2004 I had a knee injury and like most folks had surgery. I was out of work for 3 months, while all my bills fell behind. I did have a savings (which I will talk about in the next paragraph). Life was tough but I did have help from family and friends. Day after day went by, couch bound as I could not use my leg. Naturally I found comfort in the music and words of The GREAT Stevie Nicks. I was able to sit back listen to her, and sing along all day....as much as I wanted.

Now, this is where knee surgery and Stevie tie in to eachother.

I had started a savings bank. Every week when I got paid I put a nice chunk of money in there. I kept out what I needed to pay bills and live, but almost everything else I put back. I was doing this in hope that Stevie and/or Fleetwood Mac may tour in my area in 2005 sometime. And that at last I would be able to witness her perform. Well, while I was out of work I had to get money somewhere, and you guessed it. I had to raid my "Stevie Fund". This devastated me, but what else could I do? Although "She" is my priority, I had to survive. It only took about a month and a half to run the bank dry. Especially with rent at almost $700 a month. I was heartbroken, thinking maybe I will have time to build it back up, once I start work and catch up on bills, along with paying people back who helped me out. Yet here I sit without a dollar in that fund. It has just been way too hard.

And now the finale:

On March 18th, a friend called me at work and said " You will never believe this, Stevie is gonna be in Vegas in May!" I was so so SO excited. I was just shocked. I immediately started thinking of her on that stage singing the way she always does. Looking "fabulous" in her gypsy style clothes and her golden locks. Those wonderful thoughts lasted about 2 minutes until reality hit. Actually it broadsided me. I have no money to go there. My "fund" is gone. While it was spent on living and not "wants", it still upset me. So now I am stuck, heartbroken and grasping at every possible straw. I already put clothes up for sale here on eBay, trying to make something. But, clothes do not bring much of anything as far as money is concerned. So this is my idea....

I am asking for help for an absolutely crazy about Stevie fan....ME!!

I am placing up for bid a CD-R. This CD contains me singing songs performed by Stevie herself. I have recorded this Cd, and if you are the lucky winner I will provide free shipping. This CD will come in a nice little Jewel case and it will have a label on it, so you will always remember the woman who you helped! It will take quite a bit of money to get out to Vegas, but I will not give up. I am trying to make as much money as I can. Please help me! Your bid is greatly appreciated!! Please email if you have any questions or comments about this auction or myself. So please......start this bidding off right!!!!

****BONUS****

If you are the highest bidder (and it is a substantial bid that will actually get me out to vegas and into seeing stevie.....or close to it) then I will gladly buy a souvenir to send to you as a way of saying saying thank you!!

***Bidder is to have at least 5 transactions****

I accept PAYPAL only! If you have any questions email right away!!

Below I have included a picture of Me and of Stevie!

*Rhiannon is not my real name, but what those who know me call me*

I wouldn't mind seeing Stevie. I'll sing Bella Donna, tape it and sell it on Ebay..maybe I can go? Poor thing, I don't see that happening.

I need a car now too, since mine was stolen. I'll sing some car commercials and see what happens...

Hey, I could get on there with you and we could kiss or something. I mean, I'm hetero and all, but for Stevie.... I think this scenario would rake in lots of money and we could split it...

I'm all out of my Fleetwood Mac cash stash too...because I robbed it to pay for my family's upcoming trip to Disney World. As a matter of fact, we'll be in Orlando the week that Stevie will be in Vegas. Umm, maybe I could get some kind of petition started to change the dates to accomodate my schedule?

I thought I was an overly obsessive Fleetwood Mac fan. Notanymore.

What I find funny is how she says that she has alot of watchers so come on and bid people. That cracks me up, it almost makes me want to email her and tell her she doesn't have watchers because they want to bid....it's because people want to see if this crazy bitch makes any money off this scheme. Or better yet, I want to see if any (more) crazy people bid on it! I doubt they are all waiting till the last minute to win this one

Good God. I recall a pretty wacky fan who used to post around here, that lived in Florida. I think she hit some SYW shows though and this chick says she has never seen her live. Long time fan but never, ever seen her live?

I think the whole idea is laughable and completely self centered but why was it pulled? They allowed that lady to auction off her son's coloring page to pay for his cancer treatment. I realize that is a much more worthy cause but its basically the same premise but ebay does have all their guidelines and ****. She was actually trying to sell something. Problem is, you can't advertise you are selling a CD-R and the mystery box is probably questionable. They might have left it on had she been selling a photo or just said a cd? There was that other woman who had an auction to legally change her name and GoldenPalace.com won it for like 50,000 bucks. Now that is the chicks name. Oy.
Don't get me wrong, I am sort of glad it was pulled, but it was entertaining watching the bids pop up!
