I know someone did a great chart for the enchanted tour back in the day. If that person wants to do one again, great, if not and they're still around I would love to know how you did it and I would gladly take over. In the meantime I compiled the lists of where everyone is. I'll update the posts as people report in so that the first four posts will be as up-to-date as possible.

Well typically if you already have a good seat (which ours are, 11th row is something they are usually sure they can sell) they'll give you a certain amount in credit and for like 20-50 bucks more you can usually get a better seat. That's how I "traded up"

What brokers do this? I want to get rid of mine.
List updated!
Most brokers will do this as long as they are sure that they can sell your tickets. The biggest problem, however, is that usually you have to go in and trade the tickets. In your area I believe South Shore Tickets might do it (they're about an hour away from providence if I recall correctly although it has been some time since I've used them). Some brokers will not do this immediately after tickets go on sale but will trade as they draw nearer the date. Just calling and asking is usually your best bet and only calling brokers that buy their own tickets rather than agenicies that just post tickets that other agencies are trying to sell. ACE tickets might also work in New England although I have never used them myself.
Michael
PS. If you can't find one that will trade, almost all of them will buy your tickets provided they are in the orchestra and you usually can get face value or better if they are in the front orchestra (if you call one of the bigger brokers: razorgator, allamerican, ezticketsearch they will list your tickets on their site and pay when they sell so in a sense your "asking price" usually determines how quickly they sell). You can then use the cash to buy other tickets.

Wow, that's crazy! I am sure there is a place I've used in CA before that at the very least agreed to give me face value for my tickets (but then you are, of course, running the risk of not getting better tickets). I'll see if I can dig up the website/phone number.

Try filling out the form on this site: http://www.ustba.com/buysell.htm but make sure to use a junk e-mail address (some of the folks who buy access to this "broker" group buys it just to send you spam!). If you don't have a junk e-mail address PM me and I'll send you a gmail invite. The site I used before (in california) no longer seems to exist.

I think it's possible. Just be sure to be on ticketmaster.com right when they go on sale. Do you have an account set up with them? If not, it's a good idea to do that ahead of time so all of your info's already there & you don't have to race trying to type it all in before your time runs out.
If nothing good pops up, keep your eye open on ebay, or even here. People may have bought extra tix.

Ticketmaster is actually fairly evil. They release seats in blocks similar to the way the airlines do it. So a very, very small amount of better seats will pop up immediately when they go on sale. The rest will be released as more tickets sell. This means you have to be vigiliant and check ticketmaster every day for the really, really good seats. The risk is that you miss out on the moderately good seats while you wait and you end up in the back.
The days of being first in line to get good tickets are over and it's because Ticketmaster has the monolpoly on ticket sales and can do whatever they want (including charging over $25 in processing fees and $2.50 for the honor of using your own ink and your paper to print your tickets - keep in mind the system that e-mails your ticket to you is automated, they DO NOTHING for that $2.50)
As for David standing, I would assume this would leave his seat available...right?

It's a bummer that you can't get the best seats by being the first to purchase them...I had 2 windows open on my computer to buy for Tues and Wed, but Tues didn't work, although it looked like it did. I had to go back, and redo it, and get 4 rows back from what I had originally. Ticketmaster won't let you open 2 windows for one show (to do seat comparisons), but why not for different shows? I'm afraid to bring my camera...anyone else???? :blob1:

We are still working on getting something for closing night (saturday) but the seats that are coming up are really, really lame. And I won't take lame! I want so see nostrils from where I am!!! No G.I. Joe sized Stevie for me!
This will be my first solo Stevie show! I live in Calgary, Alberta, Canada and she NEVER comes here. So, we have decided to make the trip to Vegas. Very very excited to hear the opening guitar riff from Edge of Seventeen. I fear I may collapse or just start flapping my arms like a complete maniac!

So what do you think?
Do you think it is going ot be a bunch of stiffs at this show who don't stand or anything?I myself am going to sit all night long. I shall stand when the lights go back on, & the mob files out. I shall stretch slowly, languidly, look around a bit, & then casually leave.
I shall never back down from my desire to enforce a "No Standing" law at all concerts in the continental United States (let them stand in Hawaii).

In my experience, I've had to search sometimes for weeks to get good seats. I remember when David Bowie came to Calgary, I was online the SECOND tickets went on sale and seriously crappy seats came up the first day all day. Then I looked over the next few weeks and crappy seats kept coming up. A few weeks before the show, a block opened up on the side within spitting distance from that beautiful man.
So, I say to all of you who are wanting tickets, give it time, grasshoppers. They will come. Patience. The other option is we can always try the scalper route. Always a little sketchy though. I would rather have tickets secured. It sucks though that the people who REALLY want to go sometimes get ****ty seats. Sally Housecoat could come along a few weeks before the show and go "Oh, Stevie Nicks is coming to Vegas? Who's he? I better check for tickets. I've heard he's good." And she could totally get like front row! LAME!!! We the poets, priests of nothing and legends should be getting the good seats!!!

"Sally Housecoat" Bwahahahahahahahahaaaaa. :]
The whole ticket business is a racket. You gotta be "plugged in" to get good seats. You gotta work in the biz, or know someone. At least with Ticketbastard being online you can check a couple of times a day fairly easily and sometimes find decent seats closer to showtime, as you said. I got lucky and got a 5th rower for Wed but I'm still looking for Tues.

5th row! Well done! I've 4th row on the side which kinda sucks because I'm rammed up against the wall. But it would appear that up in the first few rows, it is very intimate. Hardly any seats up there. Has anyone seen Deline Cion there? I'm incapable of calling her Celine. Not that I would encourage seeing Deline Cion, but just curious if anyone knows what it will be like in there.
Oh, and I can't claim Sally Housecoat as my own. Mr. Burnes said it on the Simpsons.

No, but a friend of mine at work has. She said there is literally not a bad seat in the place. She was actually a little upset that they had paid for the more expensive seats, since any seat is good.
I believe that the audience is on a pretty steep incline, like steps. I also read somewhere that the Colisseum is designed so that nobody is more than 120 feet away from the stage.

I think it would almost be fun to sit in the mezzanine one night to get an arial view of the stage. You'd still be fairly close but would see the whole thing from a theatrical standpoint. So, one night I will have my third row ticket from the stage and one night I'm going to be way up high observing the show from way up in the sky. Two very different view points will make for two very different experiences... and the mezzanine seats are less expensive to boot!

So, one night I will have my third row ticket from the stage and one night I'm going to be way up high observing the show from way up in the sky. Two very different view points will make for two very different experiences... and the mezzanine seats are less expensive to boot!
Interesting perspective. I might have to "reconsider" my approach to this whole thing too. Third row! I wanna break your shins! Wellllllllll, I'm not that much further back from you, but still, I wanna break your shins!

That's very violent for one measley row. You're fourth. I don't imagine there is a world of difference between third and fourth. :woohoo:
It is an interesting idea to sit higher on a different night. I've been planning on waiting till I'm in vegas to pick up tickets for nights other than Tuesday but I hadn't ever considered trying for seats that weren't in the first few rows.

I don't know if I can do it! Like I've said before, I wanna be able to "smell Nag Champra" from where I am! I wanna see her up close and perhaps get another cute little bow like I got from her from the THIRD ROW in Calgary.

Realistically a lot of the seats in the front orchestra section are probably reserved for high rollers (it is Vegas after all) and whatever doesn't sell the day of will become available....it would be interesting to see what happens on ticketmaster the day of each show.

Those comp tickets for high rollers are what I'm after. They are possible to get from the pit boss without being a high roller but it does take the right boss, the right attitude, and the right time.

Hmmm, you got the inside track? Seriously, that is the best chance for anything good....I'm still thinking the scalper route might be the right way to go. I'll be in Vegas for most of, if not all of the shows, so its totally worth rolling the dice.

As far as tickets go I need two tickets for the Staurday show, but nothing good has shown up on ticketmaster. Is it safe to wait until closer to the date? I mean, Celine's shows did sell out most of the time so I would be heartbroken if I couldn't get any tickets for that show.

Riss, the shows are on Tues and Wed, I am sure ya figured that out by now. At least you talked me into getting there late Monday night, now I don't have to worry about plane delays and whatnot.
I have pretty good seats for the tenth, not sure exactly where as a friend got ours. I think like ninth row or something in Section five, but right next to section four.
(aisle seats) I am looking for Wed. and holding out for awhile. Right now nothing is available on TM in the most expensive range but that happened at the Borgata as well and blocks of seats were opened randomly. If need be, I will do the first upper level. I really think all the seats look pretty good anyway.

Thanks! I think before the show starts all of the people that are going to there from the boards need to stand up or we need to do something so we can all atleast see each other. And possibly a big group pic or something. :p
But I have a great story about going to Vegas:
I told my friends boyfriend the other day I was going and he asked me if I was going by myself (yes i was) and he said what if I send Brooke with you!! So he paid me for the ticket and this is her surprise birthday gift, but we were both about ready to bust a gut to tell her so we told her last night! Brooke----->
And the boyfriend has a cousin who is the front desk clerk at the Flamingo so I'm crossing my fingers on some family discount hook-up.

Circus Circus is not bad (make sure you're in the main hotel, though, not the "manor rooms" behind it - they're kind of crappy.)
Anyhoo, screw it, it's Stevie. As long as you're somewhere on the Strip, it doesn't matter one damn bit.

But you really should try to save your pennies to go to the show! It will be amazing. $250 is a really good deal! Our flights and hotel to stay at Paris was $1200 each! Yikes! Skid row, here I come! List updated. The Manor section is uber-sketch but acceptable since as you say, most people are hardly ever in their room. I saw circus, circus was $51 a night during the week which is only $7 less than the much nicer excalibur (I swear I don't work for them). So if you are planning on being in your room a bit, I suggest going for Excalibur. Circus Circus is also near the wrong end of the strip from Ceasar's. Another good cheaper price option is the Imperial Palace. That hotel is center strip and usual cheap.

Has anyone picked up anything good for Friday or Saturday? It seems like all the dreamy seats are only coming up for Tuesday and Wednesday. I already have tickets for Tuesday and can't go Wednesday. So, anyone gettin' anything good?

Got my tax refund today and on a whim decided to check Ticketmaster. I guess it paid to wait. I'll be in section 4 row GG seat 419 on Wednesday night. For a long time Mac fan - I first saw them in 1976 - this will be quite a treat. Hope to get the chance to meet some of you at the show!

awwwww... :(
oh, for an update, my Fri seat is Orchestra 5, row E 501
You know how you just said "GAYYYYY!"? I got in so much trouble saying that, once, so watch out! I had rollerbladed up to Berkeley to go to...Rasputin? Amoeba? music store. Anyway, I rolled in, and the guy at the door was all - "hey, you can't rollerblade in here" so I was all pissed, right, as I am an expert. Then this person walks past me with a dog on a leash, and I go "oh, I can't rollerblade in here, but that dog can come in!? That is soooo GAY!" and this gay guy who works there comes from behind the counter, and was all "oh, no you didn't", yelling at me and stuff, saying how insulting that was, blah blah cause a scene, and then he goes "Get out!!! just roll your big butt on outta here!!!"

I hate dramatic fags like that. Like seriously! Calm down! I say GAYYYYY all the time. Obviously you didn't use the term in a derogatory (sp?) way. That is funny that he said "just roll your big butt on outta here!!!" Nice finishing touch to the burn!

Hi guys,
I'm making Ledgie tags of our Ledge user names by taking screen captures and pasting into a label sheet. Would you guys slap one of these on? Or, put it on your bag or something? I just thought it would be a good way to orient ourselves as to who we are talking to! And I don't mean walking around with them all week but when we meet at Margaritaville on Tuesday, when we are getting to know each other in person. Let me know what you think.

Yeah, I've been thinking about that since this whole thing started, but I didn't know if people would wear them, And felt kind of dorky suggesting it. :D
Uh, shouldn't they have our real names on them too? I don't want to be like "oh, hey, poetinmyheart, nice to meet you!" I'm sure we know most people's names, but I don't know everyone's. um...yeah.

Well, the labels I have won't fit them so I will bring a blank set so we can write 'em in.

I am not going to lower myself to wearing a "hi, my name is" label. That is the silliest thing I've ever heard. What is wrong with you guys?
Did I get ya? :p Of course I'll wear it! Hey, I know! I'll put my real name on the left boob, and my screen name on the right one. That? Would look HOT!
