Had the flu yet?

I hate this ****. This is the first time I've had the flu in years, and I don't remember it ever being this bad. It started Thursday, and I stuck it out at work, and called in Friday because I'd rather die at home, and here it is Saturday, and poor little Sara has it, the little dear is in there sleeping now. I've ran a 103 temp for the past 2 days. She woke up with a temp about 7 am, and aching all over. This sucks.

I'm so sorry to hear that :(

I got it too in January. I woke up the day after we got a blizzard in NJ and could NOT swallow...my throat was so sore. Then I just couldn't move. I had to work even though I felt horrible and it lasted forever. It wiped me out, I had no voice and I coughed for like a week. UGH. It lasted like 3 or 4 weeks but that's because I couldn't rest or take care of myself like I should have.

Just drink lots of oj, get tons of sleep!

The week before Christmas. It was horrible and on top of it we got hit with a snow storm. I missed 3 days of work in a row and that has never happened in my life.

I feel a little better today, but I'm so wiped out. I can't hardly move. My house is a mess, I need to do laundry and grocery shopping, and the farthest I've been is the bed and the computer room. Sorry, I just need to whine for a minute.
