No, just mix it up and make the set fresher. :D She could start with playing my setlist from the other thread...

she should never drop:
Edge
SDMHA
SB
GDW - I'm on the fence about this and Rhiannon. She usually kicks them out so well, and the audience response is so good, that I'm reluctant to see them go, though I've heard them oh so many times. If they were replaced by something I liked, though, I would wave Sayonara. Sister Honey? Storms? Angel? SOTM?

Take that back, you bastard!
I know we've heard them over & over again. But these two songs get me so pumped up. I want them....no, I NEED them to stay in. Forevah!
Your other choices, however, are right on the money.
Enchanted - bores the hell out of me.
Dreams - ZZZZzzzzZZZZZzzzzz
Rhiannon - I so prefer it with Mac
GDW - Love it, but if she would replace it with a different Mac tune, I would be fine. SOTM anyone? Storms? Give me Angel & I'll die a happy woman. ****, do I Don't Wanna Know just for spite (irks me that it's the ONLY tune off Rumours to have never been done live  )
I Need To Know - No, I really don't anymore...
HAEWAFY - never been one of my faves.
I'll throw out:
Landslide - only with LB should this tune be sone
Everyday - blah
Stop Draggin - please. Just stop. Not the same without Petty, so unless you're going to pack Tom into your suitcase, carry him from city to city & take him out & iron him before each show, leave it alone.

I agree with all songs on that list except for one. If she even remotely THINKS of dropping Edge of 17 I will hunt YOU down and kill you  Really that song just continues to be SO good live, AND when you think about it, the song never really gets played much. It only comes out on solo tours, unlike Stand Back which is on every freaking tour. Rhiannon, Gold Dust Woman and Stand Back should only be on FM tours. Dreams should just go period.
And I've NEVER seen Edge live, so basically seeing that one song live is my whole goal in life currently. So really I don't care what she plays and who she goes on tour with because anything plus EO17 is a bonus.

Landslide- No guitarist other then Lindsey should be allowed near that song.

HAEWAFY- I think she needs to end things on a more upbeat note.

I'm sorry, I just cannot believe that anyone, ever, throughout time immemorial, would want Stevie to drop the Asskicker that is I Need to Know.
Do y'all only want slow songs? *yawn* - and for the peeps who say drop Stand Back and Edge? Again, d'ya only want the sleepers? the yawnies? What's the deal? You don't want to shake your booty at all? Don't want to get that pulse rate up????
It boggles my little mind...honestly....the only way I can see that would be okay, is if she replaced them with other asskicker fast songs. And I don't think Sister Honey and I Can't Wait are coming out anytime soon, unfortunately... :p  :wavey:
However, Rumours 77, I definitely agree with your other two choices - I've never liked HAEWAFY, and Landslide is gorgeous, obviously, but just too overplayed while also being slow.

Dreams...Could live without it but frankly, she will NEVER drop it. Plus, like Poet said, the name of this event is "Stevie Nicks Dreams".
Rhiannon...Like it only with the Mac
GDW..... Only with the Mac
I Need To Know....Never liked it, fast or not..replace it with a song of HERS.
HAEWAFY...Sorry, never been a fan.
I agree with those who only want her to perform Landslide with Lindsey. He is the only guitarist who can do the song justice. Same for Silver Springs...if she does that solo it won't fly with me.

I could do without:
Enchanted - I've never gotten into this one and somehow, since '98, it has taken up a permanent spot in the setlist. Why this one?
I Need To Know - If she wants to do a Petty song, pick something else for God's sake! (How about "You Wreck Me"?)
Landslide - I'm sick of this one. And nobody does it like Lindsey anyway. I really don't think the TISL setlist suffered without it, so leave it off!
Rhiannon - I don't mind hearing it, but it just feels like it's in the set because it has to be in the set. Let it go.
Edge of 17 - Not the whole song, but I can live without the 28 minute drum solo and the 16 minute guitar solo that precede the song. This one gets longer with ever tour...I think it is as long as World Turning on some of my boots. Get on with it already.
Although I'm the only person in the world who still likes to hear Dreams everytime I see Stevie, I do like the idea of leaving off all FM songs. Fill those slots with something new, Stevie.

I have to say that I do like her Fleetwood Mac songs better then her solo songs. I think that is why I am not that excited about this tour. I figure that Vegas will hopefully be Henley free and I don't have to sit though him.

though I like the Mac Stevie songs moreso than her solo tracks, I would just want to see some variety in her setlist...Thus my opinion on removing the Mac tracks from a setlist, But then she would never do that would she?
I agree about not being excited about this tour...And I may pull the same as you and see her in Vegas to avoid the Henley (Mainly just to head 2 hours away to visit my sister Lesa) cause otherwise I'll just enjoy the bootlegs of any upcoming show

If Stand Back, Edge of 17, GDW, and I Need to Know were dropped from her set I wouldn't go. I am actually quite surprised of how many people want to see these songs dropped. I think they are the songs that are the most important in her set. I mean yes I'd love to see her try some new and rare stuff, but I don't think this would be a Sevie Nicks show without these songs.
I agree on three of the choices and have selected one of my own:
Dreams- If she did it like her OSOTM tour version id say ok, but in any other version i only look foward to the little dance part in the middle.
Enchanted- Was fun on the Enchanted tour, but she could do like Sable on Blond or Think About It, id even love fire burning.
HAEWAFY- I must say i'd also like her to end on a high energy leveled song. I liked when Stand Back was in the encores. I think that would be a nice change.
Outside the Rain- Its not that im bored with this song, its just she can't sing it anymore. Try Blue Lamp, Planets of the Universe, or Juliet on that one.

NO, not only slow songs. But put in different songs like I Can't Wait, Blue Lamp, Think About It, Violet & Blue - none of those is a ballad or a "slow" song.
I was thinking today (weel, more like deluding myself :D ) but wouldn't it be cool if the show's title of "Dreams" meant she would do songs with a dream reference? She has tons of them!

I have absolutely no reservations about saying that I love for Stevie to drop all Fleetwood Mac songs from her solo sets. I could understand including them early on, with her first two tours or so. But now she has established herself as a solo artist and has a depth of material to draw from.
I can't understand fans that want her to, not only play Fleetwood Mac songs that have been performed a million times, but also debut old Fleetwood Mac songs that have never been performed live, such as Storms. Just doesn't seem right to me. Storms is a Fleetwood Mac song...and if performed at all, should be performed by Fleetwood Mac.
And to those who have listed their preferred set lists....the likelihood of Stevie performing an unreleased song is not only unprecedented, but very unlikely.

Why does everyone want Stand Back gone? I thought it was one of the highlights of the SYW tour and was so fun and high energy and really got the crowd going like no other song each night. At least, that was my perspective. And Stevie is a ball of energy during this song. And I love the twirls! :)

Personally, I really only dig Stand Back when it's live and when Fleetwood Mac does it. On the album, it's just... lackluster. And when Stevie does it on her solo tours, it just doesn't pack a very good punch like the one on the SYW tour did.
That would be a real let down because I got used to the one on the SYW tour and thought it just plain rocked! The one on the album is not that great- I agree. The SYW version is far superior to anything else I have heard on bootlegs.
I loved the SYW tour- I miss the SYW tour, I wish they could have gone on forever... I just want to hear BC, Standback, Sara, and IKINW again!

Really, at least for me, it's just because it takes the place of a song we've never heard live. Stevie is one of the most prolific songwriters on the planet. You'd never know it if you only went to see her live.
