Well, the Bellagio is always nice. It can be pricy though. I work at a resturant there (when I'm not going to school) called Circo, so I'm a bit tired of looking at that hotel. :p A couple of my friends stayed at the Venetian a couple weeks ago and had good things to say about it.

Actually that is good, I am against building giant, resource consuming cities in the middle of the desert. :) The damning, etc, they had to do to feed Los Vegas and L.A. (water) has been very detrimental to a number of things. You should really try to live in harmony with the climate/resources that are in the area for maximum goodness. So, rocks! Yay!

So it looks like Stevie's been planning this Vegas gig for months...sneaky lil desert angel  Remember last summer when VH1 first posted Colosseum dates on their website, and then local Vegas ticket brokers started to pitch front row seats (remember the fan who got blasted for posting the link as Caesar's official site, poor kid), and finally Mark Schulman (drummer on the TISL tour) had mentioned (to a fan who's friends with him) that Stevie's management was checking up on his availability. I guess it shouldn't be all that surprising...she is an ol' hand at this touring thing.

Amber,

It really doesn't matter where you stay as long as you're on the strip. Also, make sure that you're in the main hotel (some hotels, like Circus Circus, have these trashy motel things set behind the main hotel - blech.) I've stayed at The Riviera, which is nice, but it's toward the other end of the strip. The Boardwalk is OK too, and it's walking distance to Caesar's. Both will most definitely have rooms for under $100 per night.

If you don't mind spending more $$$ (like, at least $150 - $300 per night) then NY NY is very cool, and not far from Caesar's. Monte Carlo, MGM, Paris, Bellagio & Venetian are also nearby. The strip is easy to walk, and the bus & trolleys are cheap & easy too.

Is this presale for FM fanclub members? It says "fanclub presale" on Ticketmaster. Gah, I wish we would have something confirmed ....I would love to know how this presale is gonna work. The one for the AC show at the Borgata was for American Express cardmembers ONLY. Bleck. Ticketmaster says "fanclub presale". Considering Stevie doesn't have a fanclub..I assume it is the Mac fanclub?
I HATE disorganization. Get with it Nicksfix. :D

Phone call to Ticketmaster to launch presale: 15 mins.
Phone call to Nicks Fix with details: 15 mins.
JK posts details to site: 45 mins.

This "Nicks Fix needs to straighten everything out before posting it" belief is kinda amusing!

It's also sort of a moot point, anyway, if Ticketmaster already has it posted. Doesn't that sorta imply that the details are already worked out, but just haven't been announced on Stevie's official site? Why are people so unwilling to state the obvious: the official site drops the ball regularly.

OK, OK, I'm sorry! Sheebus.

All I'm saying is that I, for one, tend not to take anything at 100% guranteed until I hear something from the official sites, or the venue for that matter. There's nothing on any of them - yet. I'm not saying it's not gonna happen, I think it will & I really HOPE it will - I'm just a cautious gal. I really can't justify buying a flight & hotel until I know for sure.

And Ticketbastard is not always completely reliable - they have been known to put dates/venues up on their site, only to either change or delete them completely a day or two later.

That is all.

Hummmmmmmmmmm I don't know, very tempting, I did want to go to New York and I'm put off by the Vegas thing because it seems that people talk on the boards of Stevie doing duets with Henley or others etc. Forgive me for being naive but does anyone have an idea how many numbers or sets she will do. I don't want to go to Vegas to see her do just a couple of numbers with someone else, much rather see her solo next time.

I'm waiting for the biggie Stevie Live At Red Rocks again YAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

But when I clicked them for the nights Stevie is supposedly playing it says "THIS EVENT NO LONGER EXISTS IN OUR DATABASE.." so it looks like to me this will actually happen..kinda weird the Nicksfix has posted NOTHING ABOUT it.. lol
You would think if her management wanted this to be successful they would atleast use the free promotion of HER OFFICIAL SITE..o well this wouldnt be the first time...Stevie was announced as a performer at Divas Las Vegas, and we were told by the "officials" that "we havent heard anything about that" lol

While they do, if you check the dates in the question they are the ONLY dates that the ticket broker (less than reputable site) does not have tickets for. Seems to support the she (Stevie) is playing theory

Okay, I just got off the phone with Ceasar's and they can not confirm the dates, but I was told, "yeah it's pretty much confirmed she's coming, and it is sometime in May but until it goes on our website I can't tell you anything else."

I also was informed that several callers had been rather rude to the folks over there when calling. I hope it's no one on here, but if it is, try and remember that the box office rep is pretty far removed from the person in charge of contracting artists.

As for the presale, there are a couple supervisor's looking into it right now. Essentially all the folks at ceasar's had no idea it was on ticketmaster already and seem surprised to find a presale beginning in two days, so I would assume it is not a ceasar's palace high rollers presale.

I know there is a lot of vagueness in all of this, but it seems rather definite ambiguity if that helps.

Hi,

The official schedule for Celine Dion has her on vacation that week, so this looks pretty confirmed.

Also, people should know that they keep a strict 1 1/2 hour limit for shows at casinos, I guess so that people can't get away from spending money on gambling for too long. So Stevie's set will be longer than that (which I think is fine, her solo shows are rarely much longer).

And, "pre-sales" are almost always a scam and a disappointment, in my experience.

Just some thoughts. Sorry if the above was already posted, I only skimmed the thread.

I'm definitely going, however, need a Stevie fix bad.

I'm wondering if this presale titled "fanclub" isn't for regular patrons of Ceasar's or something of that nature. No way this could possibly be through Fleetwood Mac's fanclub, IMO. That would be a really stupid move allowing those people to take part in her solo ventures. Then again...who knows?

"The presale is reportedly open only to AEG Live subscribers, who will be emailed a password on the morning of Monday, March 14. However, this information is unconfirmed. AEG Live is promoting the concerts along with The Colosseum at Caesar's Palace."

OK! Kristin and I did pretty good for a presale - for May 10th, we got 8th row Section 5, and for May 11, we got CC Sect. 6 (which is actually the front row of section six, since it has no AA or BB).

Now, we do however already have two etxra tickets. These are for May 11th, and they are Row GG Sect. 6. http://www.ticketmaster.com/venueinfo/82448/

I'm going to wait until next Saturday and see if better seats become available. It is a lot of money to spend on travel and stuff if the seats aren't that great. Or maybe something will pop up on eBay or a broker will have some front row seats. I don't mind paying a lot for tickets if they are excellent seats. I think it is going to be very hard to get great seats to these shows though- everyone in the Fleetwood Mac internet community seems to be going... we're going to have to fight each other for the really good seats! lol

Not including Stevie's tickets? Or including them? I don't know where you live, so...
My flight and hotel will be about...$300-$350? Stevie's tickets $400 . That sounds like you got a good deal, though...especially with nice hotel. I'm just sorry if I don't see you... :o

Not including Stevie's tix. I live in West Hollywood, so the airfare ain't no biggie. The Vegas upper echelon hotels are notorious for overcharging on their room rates, so I was surprised.

Don't worry honey, we'll meet up at one of these shindigs sometime! :xoxo:

P.S.: My favorite from the 70's was Louis Bloo Raspberry. I always hated all those damn Little Orphan Oranges that took up the whole box and were leftover....

Yeah, I suppose - I'm still hoping something uncommon happens, and I can go five days.
I liked Louie bloo, too, cause bloo isn't a flavor (especially for raspberry) and he had a beret and was french. And look at his little flower!
Someone else in an earlier thread said she felt the same way about little orphan orange...but it wasn't the color, so much as she was a sad orphan... They still sell those, by the way!

I live in Orange County (next door to you). I have never flown to Vegas, always drove. I suppose it would be so much easier to fly, huh?? Ughh, I still need to book a hotel and request that weekend off.. so much to do :)

I too am a california kid, (sherman oaks) and having made the drive to Vegas very recently think flying is too much of a hassle unless you can get a flight for $79 or less. It's like barely 5 hours to Vegas vs. 90 minutes in line at the airport both ways, a 45 minute flight, and then 30 minutes deboarding, a $15-20 cab cost to the strip. IMO flying is so not easier. But that may just be airport hatin' me.

Yeah, it looking at it that way, it does seem to be a hassle. Too many steps. I wouldnt have anyone to drive me to LAX (orange county people seem to hate driving to LA, lol) so I would be throwing in money for a shuttle bus (which is 40 bucks one way) to the airport and coming back, adding up all that along with the cab fares in Vegas, it seems that it would be easier and cheaper to drive. My car has good gas mileage too. So I may just end up driving. :)

I was thinking the exact same thing. Tiff probably got front row for all the shows. I don't know how she always does it. :p

I waited until 9 PM to buy my tickets, but I'm GOING TO VEGAS! :D

Friday May 13, 2005 8:00 pm

Seat location: section ORCH2, row LL, seats 203-201

Now, to find out if those seats are good or bad...

Justin, I think those are 10th row. I will be there that night; same section as you!! :blob1:

I will never drive to Vegas again. The Cajon pass is a nightmare and traffic just keeps getting worse and worse. Anytime there's an accident on the 15 freeway you can expect to add one to ten hours to your drive time.

For me, it's soooo much easier to drive down to LAX and take the 45 minute flight and then take a $30.00 limo to the hotel. Way easier and so much less stress.
