If you're wondering why British bands don't tour the US, here's why...
I don't know if this goes for artists of other countries as well, btw.

Good thing Mick and John live here, so they don't have to go thru that s***. But I'd feel sorry for Christine if she decided to rejoin the group. It's tougher for foreigners to get a visa these days.

Eh, what a load of crap. Look at the U.S. music charts sometime or any "music" station. It's mostly all Americans, and it's ALL sh*t (country, rap, pop etc.). I say bring on the Brits, and maybe they'll be a little better.

and at the same time it sure is funny how rap/hip-hop artists wont tour overseas...Mainly because rap/hip hop is seen as an American form of music, And thus most countries DISPISE it, Whereas rock & metal are universal.

Bring on the Brits, the true gods of rock & metal

as an objective observer, british music is 10 times more interesting, innovative and enjoyable than american music, the finest example is the fact that the Scissor Sisters are a british-signed band.

There ARE probably great American bands out there, but they have more than 1% body fat, they wear glasses and they play instruments....so they don't play 'em.

I think so too, British music is closer to my roots, I think that's why I appreciate it more.

Didn't Bono semi-recently shoot off a verbal attack on bands who won't tour America, saying they should be honoured and implying that it be simply a thing of pride? Why would he say that if this were the case and of all people he should be aware of this? The whole thing sounded bizarre to me, maybe he was misquoted, or maybe it's just Bono. Maybe I imagined the article.

Yeah, it's quite the honor to play the Dunkin' Donuts Ampitheatre. Didn't you know that? ;)

is kicking off his tour of the world in a couple of days here in Oklahoma, Robert Plant!!! (Playing the legendary 'Cain's Ballroom' in Tulsa then the show in OKC on Sunday)

I am curious to know just exactly who this 'well known artist' that Plant will be sharing his stage with this summer...Plant sure seems very 'mysterious' about the identity of this individual

Don't be silly, it has just the same appeal as the Albert Hall.

But it has reclining seats with coffee cup holders in the armrests. I doubt Albert Hall can claim such sophistication.
