Cool. Yeah, I think there was speculation back when that "In the Darkness" was Chanel, Chanel?

Or is this to disprove the "Monica" theory??

If so....

Well, La Nicks CLEARLY calls it "Monica" in the DR doc. It is possible Monica was its working title

I have to hand it to some of you guys, it is the most outlandish thing I've heard yet in the way of a Nicks song interpretation.

I always thought it was Moncia too, but just today I watched DR again and I think she says "My Cut" But really I wish it was about the Monica-Bill scandal. Wouldn't that be so inventive of Stevie, to write about an affair NOT about her and Lindsey

Maybe in the DR doc she didn't say "I lost tomorrow to mix Monica" but instead she said "I lost tomorrow to fix Monica" and that maybe Monica was a dog she had to get spayed. ;)

The working title was "Monica," but that doesn't necessarily mean it was about Monica Lewinsky. Maybe it's super secret spy speak!@(!* To avoid discussing the subject of the song... Gah, I'm with Jason I could argue about this all day :xoxo:

I've always heard Monica  and I do believe it was titled something different to keep from having to talk about the actual subject of the song for the time being at bay. Of course, I could be completely off the mark but I guess we'll never know. No one has ever asked her about that song directly.

Egads..this topic never goes away. JK. I hear Monica on the DR doc but I am with Marissa and Merf as to why she is saying that. I cannot believe that ANYONE could actually believe this song could possibly be about Monica, Bill and HIllary. PLEASE. Who here believes Monica was in love with Bill? Or if she was, how does Stevie identify with and understand Monica's innermost feelings? "I do love him, I do have him, everyday he calls me, he says he adores me". MMmmmmkkkay.

Not to mention we now have two clear titles for the song, In the Darkness and Everybody Finds Out. Why would Stevie have ANOTHER name for her "working title"? It seems to me that is the title she used in front of the camera etc but the name Monica means nothing to Stevie with regards to the meaning of the song. It smells like smoke.
