Just as well she doesn't care "if the snow comes down" because Kent has had a lot of snow over the last week or so. That is a lot for England - most other countries laugh at us because we can't cope with a bit of snow. I was talking to someone in Canterbury today and they were short staffed because not everyone was able to get to work!
I wonder if Dougal & George have had their walks!

PS I am in Southampton where it has been sunny today (we have to have therapy if we see a snowflake)

Here in central New Jersey we have been hammered w/ snow lately! My kids finally had a regular school today for the 1st time in 5 days!! Luckily it seems to be melting quickly and it did look beautiful to wake up to it yesterday.
A friend of mine in the UK once wrote me something like "We got a smidgen of snow yesterday, and that, of course, sent the country into a tailspin from which we have not yet recovered" LOL. You Brits don't seem to handle snow very well. :D

I wonder how Dougal & George handle the snow. My dog can't stand the cold & the snow.
I'm just curious Gail, you mentioned that you've had alot of snow. How much is alot to you?

It tends to cause disruption if we have more than a few inches although it does very much depend on where. Scotland for example are more used to it than we soft southerners! I know that in Kent the trains have been disrupted and as I said one company based in Canterbury didn't have all their staff in because travel was difficult.
We are in a temperate zone - we are not good at extremes of weather.
I would have thought that Dougal & George might get lost in the snow if it was too deep!

A few inches? That's a tiny amount of snow here. :)
Well maybe if Chris got snowed in, it will give her more time to work on our Q & A. :D

I'm sorry, but I think I have most, if not all of you, beat with Rochester, NY: 14 inches of snow in two days, and still more falling. It's heavy snow, too. I think they call it "heart-attack" snow...
By the way, "Hollywood" is one of my favoroite CM songs. Very catchy.

I'm glad to be in Alabama. Today, it's rainy and cold. Alabamians don't handle temperature drops well either.

We go into a decline if we have 14 flakes!!
We're just not geared up for it.
