Hey guys,

I love hearing about stuff that people buy, and I love buying stuff, so I thought I'd start this thread so we can chat about stuff we've just gotten, have, or want to get. Whatever. I know Amber got that fabulous dress and I really want to see a picture of her in it!

I just bought these kitten heeled black leather boots from Newport News and they are to die for. They were cheap too!

<img src="http://www.newport-news.com/assets/prod_images/prod_3/3F0597A_3.jpg"></img>
http://www.newport-news.com/shop/Product.asp?gpcatID=1914&pacatID=1915&subcatID=&catid=4272&superstyleID=171549&productindex=24&firstpagetypeid=&pageindex=24

I also got this beaded corset top but the photo doesn't do it justice. I love this thing, it's so pretty and it was also fairly inexpensive!

<img src="http://www.newport-news.com/assets/prod_images/prod_3/4F2283E_3.jpg"></img>

And I suddenly want this ring but definitely have to at least sleep on the decision to buy!

Woot! Shopping! That ring is gorgeous, btw. You should totally buy it.

I just bought myself this t-shirt that I've been coveting forever, because I'm a dork:
http://www.glarkware.com/media/product_main_g_car_1.jpg
http://www.glarkware.com/securestore/c181846p16471415.2.html

and a dorky Alias-related button and magnet from the same store:

http://www.glarkware.com/securestore/c188252p16402013.2.html

For V-Day I got my dream purchase, the Fresh fragrance index:
http://a1377.g.akamai.net/7/1377/5720/20040915180110/www.sephora.com/assets/dyn/product/P80801/P80801_hero.jpg
http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?id=P80801&shouldPaginate=true

which is encouraging me to buy full size bottles of pomegranate anise, violet moss, and bergamot citrus. Yummmmy.

Score, Suz! love the stuff. I just got an ipod shuffle (240 songs) two pairs of pants (which are just regular) some perfume (I have never bought perfume!) and that lip stuff that Hayley recommended in the other thread. I also got a new pair of rollerblades with detachable wheels, and some new running shoes, Asics. Hmm, I guess it's not as effective without showing the pictures, but oh well, that's what I got.

I absolutely adore this watch, it is so pretty! The photo doesn't even do it justice because the mother of pearl face has so many other colors reflected in it.

Ahh, a fellow shopper who tells me I "should" buy that ring. :blob2:

lol -my purchases have been SO lame lately...

BUT after my trip to New York in a couple of week I hope to buy some nice spring/summer clothes.

Lets see...recently I bought some pig ear dog bones and dog shampoo

AND - tonight I'm buying a slew of face products :p

Wow! I want one of those iPods, tell me how you like it. I also got pants from newport-news.com, their jeans are only $17 each if you buy 2 pairs! I got the boot cut low rise stonewashed ones. They are pretty comfortable and they don't look like cheap jeans.

I love roller blading and have a decent pair but I never use them. I can't stop in traffic but in a safe area I am fine. I didn't realize I couldn't stop very well until I tried roller blading in Somerville and almost skated right into a car. I grabbed a stop sign and nearly ripped my hand open trying to stop myself!

What kind of perfume did you get? My favorites are Tresor by Lancome and Angel, mmmmm.

I didn't buy the Index for myself, it was actually a gift- a really fantastic gift. I smell so good. So, so, so good. I love Fresh fragrances- the index scents are great for layering. Today it's tobacco caramel and fleurs de chocolat. I totally want to make out with me.

Amber! Let me know how you like the Lip Venom. I think it kicks ass.

I haven't bought crap really. I bought 3 LP's on Ebay (still waiting on them...sent media mail  ) and in 9 days, I'm going to Oklahoma to see Keith Urban in concert, so two concert tickets are on my credit card bill. Also, the hotel we are staying at is on there. I haven't been buying anything except necessities.

I may be spending some cash in OKC next week. :)

I got NOA, by Cacharel. They make Anais Anais, which i used to love - I smelled NOA once a couple years ago and liked it, I hope I still feel the same when it gets here! I just turn a circle to stop on my Rollerblades. The new ones will be nice cause i won't have to bring shoes everywhere I go on them, I just snap the wheels off when i go inside somewhere.

I haven't been shopping in a long time. Let's see I went to Kmart to get my film developed Thursday night and there I bought a photo album and I finally found that Golden Girls DVD set! :blob2: For Kmart!

My last big purchase was that Canon Rebel K2 35mm camera a few weeks ago and I also bought a gadget bag for it a week later.

I am trying to find a place for a cheap Photography class in my area now.

Not only did I have a Teddy Ruxpin, but I had a Grubby, too. But they must not have sold very well, though, because they don't make them anymore. You used to be able to connect the two of them with a wire and they would talk to each other. :D

Suze and Christy..it's an award thing (I think Prince Phillip endorses it, hence his name) that you can strive for, that incorprates leadership (they go on a 3 day walk using map skills/tents and compass) and community work (I'm not sure but I think, there's old folks invoved), there are 3 stages, bronze silver and gold and she's starting her bronze level this March, by doing a day walk taster, and learning how to read a map etc, so a good pair of boots is a must.I have to say however, these boots are damn useful walking in all the snow we have at the moment!!

I love the pink TISL shirt! I can see how Olivia would want it...it's pink and it looks like it has a fairy princess on it.
I wish I didn't wear my Stevie/Mac shirts so much. I can't help it though. My two from 83 and my RAL shirt of some of my favorites. I've actually been looking on Ebay for the same ones so I don't have to worry about them getting even more worn out than they already are!

I love it too and I am glad that I splurged on it.

That ring I showed you all is all sold out. It was very popular. I'm dying for it to arrive, I must have my retail therapy! :blob1:

Oh I did, I did! I got the 5 1/2, the 6 sold out while I was trying to submit my order. But I think the 5 1/2 will fit, although I might have to wear it on my left hand. Which may make it look like an engagment ring, but it's my birthstone! Ah well, we'll see. :D My roommate is so cute, she's like, "You know, it's good luck to let friends borrow diamonds. Just wanted to let you know."

It came today and it fits perfectly! I can't photograph it on my hand though with the equipment I have for instant photos. I'll have to use my SLR in daylight. It is quite blingy and fabulous! :D

Ironically I went to see Suze Orman speak today at Borders. She has a new book out, "The Money Book for the Young, Fabulous, and Broke" (most of us Ledgies). The book seems great and there is a companion Web site which helps you get things in order one step at a time.

She's quite irreverent in person, she was very funny and charismatic and she is stunning! She almost didn't make it here because of the weather but I'm so glad she did because she is very inspiring. Sometimes I hate her for seeming so perfect. ;) But she paid her dues, she didn't get a "real job" until she was 30. She's something.

Oh yeah, she told this little story, "I was interviewing with Matt Lauer for the first time and I was wearing a new pricey sweater. He commented on it saying, 'That's an expensive sweater.' And she replied, 'Yes it is, and I can afford it thank you very much.'" Then the interview started and she was in hot water. She said to never insult your host before being interviewed.

Anyway, blabla, yadayada. I love playing hookey! I highly recommend it.

That's cool Suze Orman was good - I should probably get that book...she used to irritate me, though, just cause she was on PBS like, every night? and every day? and every other hour?  That wasn't so much her, though, as seeing her constantly.... :D

alot lately for audio cassettes (Which I transfer to flawless compact disc versions)...Can't pass up buying over 100 Mint/Near Mint officially released audio cassettes (The dude who had 'em up for auction must be an audiophile too because they were in awesome condition) and yet only spending about $55 doing so (Excluding the 2 auctions I won last night and the 5-7 I plan to hit possibly tonight)

Wow, how do you ever stop staring at it? And those aren't even very good pics! (although your dad has way better lighting for his webcam)
I like how it has a lot of space in it's design; how it spreads....
It looks like it has a tiny old fashioned touch, too, which is nice. I don't know if it does, that's just what it looks like in those pics. Excellent. Magnifique. :woohoo: Do you get snow blindness when the rays bounce off your ring? Really gorgeous. Wait, it's on your left hand! oooo.
Actually, I also like your shirt a lot, by the way...my fave color!

Yeah, it spreads out the diamonds all around your finger. :) Great choice.

Yes I know it was kind of a joke. The funny thing is my Mom got me an early birthday present, which is a sterling silver and amethyst ring, and I love it almost as much as the diamonds. Believe it or not, I'm not a jewelry snob! And, I really do love your ring, it's a nice shape, and you have nice hands to show it off! There is this great jewelry store here in Boston called Local Charm that has the most gorgeous sterling/semi-precious jewelry and it is actually priced reasonably. They have the drawers all unlocked so you can try everything on, which I practically did! I have never been in there until this week because I wasn't "allowed". That's the kind of place I am bound to make an unplanned purchase.

I went to my "not allowed" store to get this, too. It's a tibetan jewelry store, up on the expensive ave. It's not that expensive, though. Your other ring sounds really pretty! and since your new diamond ring isn't gold, you can wear it with your silver jewelry, in theory. :) I always try a bunch of stuff on to, and change my mind, and try combinations...I feel sorry for the salesclerks if they are waiting there for me.

I haven't been spring clothes shopping yet. I have to check what I have in storage from last year to see what I have (and if it fits, lol.) But with my house in shambles right now, it's not possible.

I did find this awesome chiffon-ny green & blue swirly longish halter top (enough adjectives?) last week, but the med was a tiny bit too small & the lg was enormous. It would look great with jeans. It would be a perfect Vegas top. Maybe I'll go back & grab it & have my friend at work alter it for me.

Other than that - I got a new digital camera (Kodak 4.1 megapixel w/ 3x optical zoom & a free charging dock.) But it's for my birthday from hubby & he's not letting me use it until my actual birthday. Jerk.

I got NOA, by Cacharel. They make Anais Anais, which i used to love -

Can you believe they still make that? Someone gave me a gift set of that stuff for X-mas last year. Why? I haven't a clue. The scent reminds me of being in 6th grade, I can't believe it's been that long since I've smelled that stuff! And everytime I smell it, it takes me back to being 12. Weird how smells can do that.

Actually, It's Noe, and it just came out in 98 or 99, is what I read. Perhaps you are thinking of a different perfume. Oh, and mine smells good. Or are you talking about Anais Anais? Yeah, I remember my favorite teacher in Junior high wore Anais Anais. I still like it, though, but it does have memories of being 12.... :)

For me that is Loves Baby Soft. That was my 12yo scent.

I bought a new swimming suit yesterday. Afterwords I had to rush to the bathroom and puke after paying $120 for it. Not really, but I wanted to. I have never spent so much on so little fabric! I have a hard time buying suits so when I saw this one, and it fit, held me up and was actually cute, I had to buy it. It's light pink, and has silver sequins on it. The top is more like a bra. They actually came in bra sizes which is REALLY cool. It's easier to pick up a 34DD than a large thats really a small, or a large that is so big around it ends up around my ankles. LOL. I wish I could post a pic of it, it's really cool, but I don't have a digital camera :(

Yay!!!! I always want to buy cute, expensive swimsuits, regardless of whether I already have a cute expensive one. 34DD?! Cripes!
Also another factor when buying something is if you think it will be almost impossible to find something else cheaper that looks as good, which it sounds like what happened with you. ;) Sounds very cute!

I had a cute little tankini and the elastic went on the bottom so I needed a new one and found a cute Ralph Lauren one 1/2 off last year at the end of the season. It still wasn't cheap. Wildinthe, congrats on your find, it sounds fabulous. I cannot relate to your chest-fitting problem though, mine is the bootay. So when I find something that fits and looks good I also wave the price consideration. And can I just say, sequins?... how fabulous!!!

Well, I don't normally wear a DD, but they ran small. It is very cute, and I have a hard time buying swim suits, so I caved in and bought it.

You may want to find a back up suit for the heavy lifting so to speak. ;)

BTW, I'm wearing a sweater with sequins on it right now. I <3 this thing! Mine is purple (like rasberry sherbet) but here it is in green.

It's so bad because I just declared yesterday that I wasn't spending any money on clothing and things until Vegas and what do I do today? Put these on hold for me to pick up after work. A coworker has them on and was like, "YOU HAVE TO GET THEM!!!" and I agree :p

Shoes...oh man. I went to Aldo the other night. I had to hold back. I still haven't gone to DSW...i'm afraid at the damage I might do :distress:

Me, too. Only mine are comfy cute flats with an ankle strap (ankle strap - very important) - just the toe and heel covered. They are at Sketchers, but they are fifty dollars. :( :( Yes, you caught me, I'll probably get them anyway....

Cute. What I need are kitten-heeled gold sandals. And my sneakers have had it with all the sand and salt put on the roads this winter. Folks are right about needing sneakers in Vegas. In '93 My friend had blisters from walking around there all day. She was wearing Keds which have no support. She bought some real sneakers and then was fine. Even still, at night for the concert I'm wearing heels.

I went to Kohls yesterday (we just got our first Kohls here. It's OK I guess.) Found a few cute tops. Tried on larges. All too small. Not sure how that works, since I usually wear a medium top & have a B cup.

Aww sweetie, f*ck Kohls. Spend some money and you'll get something that fits right. And remember, always blame the clothes, NEVER your body. It's the clothes, dammit!!! And I hear you, at The Gap the medium top often doesn't fit and I'm like, "Hello?". But it's the shirt's fault, NOT my bod's!

I'm bloated and pasty too (sans nose and forehead which are still sunburned and nose is now peeling). I'm going to be tanning from the bottle though before Vegas. The Nutrogena stuff is good. But I do dread putting on that swimsuit, but not enough to avoid the pool! It sounds like this pool is amazing, the one at the MGM Grand was so awesome! You can rent cabanas there but they were expensive. They have these misty things though you can press to cool yourself off as you sip your cocktail under the cabana, ahhhh.

I'm getting my hair done Friday! Paula, do that first, it's an easy way to give yourself a lift. Then raid the clearance racks at the mid to high end stores because you just may find something fabulous. If not, wait until you have some dough but don't try on those awful clothes ever again! Amber, I think that I might be in the same boat or it will be before it and I am a cranky b'tch then, too.

I have NOTHING done.

I need to get a new carry on bag because mine has a rip in it. :(

I need a haircut like you would not believe and then I have to color it myself.

I have NO clothes and I need some cute shoes. I will be going to Dots for clothes because I am flat broke. I don't even want to try any on because I am too fat and I have made NO effort at all to diet or exercise.

I have to renew my stupid drivers license before May 8th and I leave on that day. That's $30.00 for that. That is for 5 yrs so it's not too much.

I owe Dad $ that I had to pay him this week because he owes taxes. :(

To be honest I am thinking of just saying forget it to Vegas at this point.

Amber, I am sure that I will still go. I will just have to do a little bit of shopping each week. I am seriously thinking of just putting some tape on that damn carry on bag. I love it because it is the perfect size to take on the plane and I can get a lot of stuff in there. If I see one just like it I will grab it.I just don't feel like going to look for one. :(

Pattie, I have seen cute cheap luggage at Target, you may want to check that out. They had the small cart-type bag for $9.99.

You still have plenty of time to get these thigns done, like you said, a little each week.

I got my carry on at The Christmas Tree shop about 2 years ago. It was about $20.00-$25.00 I think. I think that I might try there again. Target sounds good too and I can get some other stuff there.

I kid you not I have not gotten a hair cut since last May. I need at least 5 inches cut off. I want to do that before I get my license photo taken.

Also, Patti - try Marshall's. They had an American Tourister 22 inch carry on for $29.00. Also, Skyway no weight is a very good and moderately priced bad that recently was named the best in its class by the Wall Street Journal and I know many flight attendants who use it because it is the lightest of all. The 22 inch carry on is about $60 with free shipping from most online sources!!!!!

Pattie if you want to repair your bag there is one thing that might work. I got this stuff at Walmart in the sewing section, it's patch fabric that comes in a sheet like 3" wide by 8" long and you trim it to the size you need to mend fabric. Then you iron it on the inside. I have used this for favorite jeans I didn't want to throw out but couldn't be worn in public . This would only cost a couple of bucks. Just a thought.

Wow that is a really cool shirt! That is something I could wear! It isn't spagetti straps, or a halter or anything, and it's still really cute. Love the beading.

WOOT!

Aunt Flo (that bitch) is gone, my skin's clearing up & I don't feel quite as chubby :woohoo: Now, how to keep in from happening again in 4 weeks...

I should have known to go to NY & Co. first, since that's where I get most of my clothes in general. I found some great tops, including a dark brown sheer tank with rust-colored beading on the neckline for Vegas. Plus I got coupons to use the week before the shows so I can get a few more things. I feel so much better now.

Here are pics of the shirt. The beading didn't really show up too well in the pic, but oh well. I have my new watch on too (Walmart special  ) Please disregard the pastey white skin, slouchy posture, flabby arms, lack of makeup, ass girth, etc. I promise I'll look better in Vegas.
Very pretty, Paula!!! And? You look just fine. good, in fact. Oh, and in other news, it looks like we could share clothes if we wanted.... Oh, guess what? I just jumped rope for 40 mins! hope to do it nearly every day. Maybe I, too, could lose weight before Vegas.... course, this means I have to do yoga tonight, if I want to walk tomorrow...but that is good, as well. :)

Well, jump for awhile, then rest for like, 30 seconds. No, not the entire time. My calves are sore, but not the rest of me, which is a good sign. Of course I'll give them back! Are they a size 8? :D

 I love blading but I have a problem with stopping so I can't blade where cars go. One time I had to stop myself by grabbing a stop sign which nearly tore my hand open. It is funny looking back on it but at the time it was. That was the last time I bladed in a high traffic area!

I just purchased a new shirt at Neiman Marcus... it was a tad more then I would normally spend on a shirt... or a car payment! It was the most I have ever spent on one item of clothing, but I justified it by saying that it was my new shirt for one of the Las Vegas shows and everyone has to look fabulous. Even Stevie said so! "Plan your outfit now" I believe she said :D Now I just need some pants to go with it... and some shoes too. I really want some black boots like the kind Lindsey wore during the SYW tour. Anyone know anything about those shoes? Everyone talks about Stevie and her shoes but I really want some info on Lindsey's.

So my mom forced (that's right, forced) me to buy this dress from NY&Co on Thursday. It's a black, brown & white floral pattern (I know, sounds blech, but it's not.) Spagetti straps, fitted to the lower part of the waist, then flares out into an A-Line. Falls just below the knee. Very retro 50's - I love it! It really flatters my hourglass (OK, pear-shaped  ) body.

Only issue is shoes. The little Stacy & Clinton in my head are screaming at me to get a cute pair of black or brown heels with a pointed toe. So I tried a few pairs on at DSW & nearly broke my ankle :o . Several times. I took that as a sign & did not make a purchase.

Oh, will I ever learn to walk in heels?

Speaking of green shoes, i'm currently obsessing over a pair I saw in Aldo (http://www.aldoshoes.com/aldoshoes/images/products/599-369-35-L.jpg) (that's the shoe in natural). They're $69 though BUT, they'll be really adorable with jeans. After buying tickets for the show, I really need to stop purchasing things. But I want (I don't necessarily need) a new pair :distress:

I absolutely LOVE them. However, I am also quite partial to the British version we ripped from (because apparently, we've run out of original ideas). Trinny and Susannah <3 Merf bought me their What Not To Wear book for Christmas and it's a riot. They'll show a picture of a good outfit for a certain body type and then one that doesn't look as nice. In the pictures with the bad outfits, they make sad and depressed faces

I guess I'm used to higher shoes since I seem to gravitate towards them. However, when I don't wear them for a while (which is rare but on occassion, I will) and go to put them on, it feels odd. I have to use my better judgement and not purchase these...but it is tempting :distress:

Aldo is evil...seriously. I make an attempt to reason with myself and am pretty good at convincing myself out of purchases but there are times when i'll just throw caution to the wind and regardless of money, buy things I don't need. I am good about not charging unless i've got money to pay it off right away so I guess that's good.

I went out today to look for a carry on bag. I only went to a few places but I did not see anything that I liked. I was looking for a purse at Kmart but I did not see anything but I did see a tote bag that I liked. I looked at it a bit closer and saw that it was an American Tourister and that it even had a luggage tag on the side. The best part was that it was marked down to $8.00. I bought it along with a few toiletries at Kmart. Now, I just need to get a small shoulder bag. I figure that I will take my tote bag and put my purse inside and put some important things like my contact lens stuff and battery chargers and put the bottles in the other small bag that I have. I will need to check that one in, however. This way I have just the tote and my camera bag on the plane with me.
I think that I will hit the mall after work tomorrow. I did not see any clothes that I liked anyplace so I will stick with what I have. I forgot that I bought a dress at Target the end of last year that I never wore.

Heeeee :D . Yeah, I forgot to mention Bubba (my big, beautiful brindle Boxer boy) sleeping on the floor in the pic.

I'm thinking high pony tail with this dress. Of course, a hair cut may change that idea real quick. Haven't had a trim in months & I really need to hack a bunch off.

I need to look around the house more. I found a pair of white Reeboks that I had never ever worn before. I think that I will take those with me.

Here is a pic of the top.

EDIT: On second thought. I just might take the top back. I don't plan on being poolside for long if at all, anyway.

I wondered about your sig. Your mom is talented!

Regarding the clear purse issue - perhaps you could get some sort of bag to contain all your crap & put that into the purse? Like, a white, ivory or even light pin color so that you could still see the flowers in the clear bag? Just a thought.

BTW - going shoe hunting this week. I did find a cute pink Nine West purse at AJ Wright for $12, so that's a plus.

That sounds really cool. I totally want one of those bras, but they are like, 40 bucks at victorias secret. By the way, I think you spelled asymetrical right.
I got mine for $19.99 at Target  You can definatly find a cheap one that will do the trick. I usually have to get expensive bras, but this one is suprisingly good. And I don't wear it that often. It is a great investment though. I can actually wear halter and tank tops! woohooooo!!!

very nice. I just got some tacky gold sandals with toe loop, too. I almost got some black flat thongs with sparklies, but, you know. don't worry, I don't hate you.
here's mine. They have an annoying heel.

Very nice, Amber. I don't think they're tacky! Then again, I love shiny and glittery things! My ex used to joke with me about that because whenever we were in the mall and I saw jewelry or things with glitter or sequins I was there and he'd say, "Ooh, it's shiny!" in a girly voice mocking me.

I dont think they are tacky either. Mmm....sandle season. Lovely :D I wish I had a digital camera, I am in love with my dangly beaded gypsy thongs. I wore them to work today...even though they aren't exactly work shoes!

I love all of your shoes. That's exactly what I've been looking for!

I picked up a few more things from NY&Co. (brainwashed with coupons again -how could I not buy more with 50% off?) I got some basics - T's, capris, shorts and some very cool jewelry I will probably take to Vegas.

Just need shoes! :o

Now that I have a boyfriend in a band, I've found myself doing WAY too much shopping! I feel like I have to buy a new outfit every weekend. I wonder what tommorrow's shopping excursion will bring? :D

You betcha! I fantastic one at that. I've never seen anyone play the guitar like that. And it also means free lessons for me  My Rhiannon is coming along nicely!

Despite my consciously not wanting to date musicians, like, 4 out of 6 BF's have been musicians. It's kinda fun. :) Except, of course, they always think they know more, and have good taste, which is only sometimes true.

I LOVE musicians. :o There's a bass player in this band I love that just kills me but I talked to him one night and he is in 2 bands and works a day job with kind of long hours too. No time. Anyway, that's just a fantasy cuz he's so damn cute. :D In reality, not compatible, but on stage :swoon:.

Well, fortunalty, Chris (my BF) isn't like that. He's quite the humble musician. And he doesn't party anymore, he stopped drinking completely in 2003. So it works out well. He doesn't mind sticking around the house with me and my crazy child, and on the weekend I go to his shows and drink his free drinks for him   So it works out.

Most men get sick of that party hardy lifestyle at some point. Sounds like a fun relationship! Nice. :D

Thank God. Finally found cute, sparkly shoes without a heel! I'm sorry guys, I tried, I really did. But if I trip over my own feet in the store, then it ain't happening. :o On sale at Kaufmann's, $25 a pair plus I had a coupon. :D I love coupons.

BTW, obviously I got a pair in orange & a pair in black - I won't actually be wearing both colors at once.

cute, paula. Don't worry, my foot pic looked like that, too. It's something about taking it from that angle. :)

really? Barf, I've never liked musicians, but most women do. If I do, it's usually a bass player or drummer. Anyway, I hate musician egos, and some other stuff, too. My favorite boyfriend was a bass player, though, so. But, he also had a studio where he produced people's stuff in his house. And he wrote music on his computer. And he was collegiate. So, he was just barely a "musician" musician....

Those are great. I was in Macy's last nite shopping for mother's day and they have LOTS of sparkly flats, FYI. Very fabulous stuff.

Well, the verdict is that they're fine for walking around a bit, but not comfy enough for long distances. :( Not terrible, but I haven't worn flip-flops/thongs in years & it's killing my toes!

Debating on whether to bother bringing them to Vegas. I probably will - I've already packed, like, 6 pairs of shoes for 3 friggin days, what's a couple more pairs, right?

awww. That sucks. I bought some comfey thongs. Although, of course, I had to pumice down the part of the straps by my foot. Scratchy. I know what you mean, I think I'll have the same amount...

I'm bumping a thread from 2005 because I just spent WAY too much money on a pair of boots, but God am I in love with them.

I stumbed across this website, Junk Gypsy while searching last night. They have some awesome boots (don't think any are quite as gorgeous as yours though!) : http://www.gypsyville.com/store/store.asp?OpenA=835&nProductTypeID=835

I'm sure even if they're a little too big/small you'll deal with the pain!
