LOL! We get quite a few 'left hand drive' Beetles over here but I don't think I would enjoy driving that way too much!

"Beetle", We are planning to buy a new car in the future, The ol' Roadkill Express/Black Death mobile needs a newer younger sibling :nod:

I think I want a Subaru "Baja" (I don't care what anyone says, The "Baja" is a new name for the much loved Subaru "Brat"...And if we purchase one I am removing all the logo's with the word "Baja" & replacing 'em with ones that say "Brat"!!!!)

I don't know how you guys drive with gears on the right-hand side. Quite easily I suppose, but it still looks weird to me.

I've always wondered how the right-hand vs. left-hand drive situations evolved... Is it possible right-hand drive became more popular for the reason you suggested, since a majority of the population is right-handed??? :shrug:

The weirdest thing I ever saw was in the U.S. Virgin Islands when I was there in the '80s. Since they used to be a British colony, they still used the right-hand drive (British) system, only with LEFT-hand drive (American) cars. I was only there for a week, yet I saw a major traffic accident every single day. :laugh:

I've always wanted to drive on the left side of the road. It would be odd. And, I wouldn't know how to drive if the stick was on the left. I would be one of the ones in an accident, because of stupidity.

I also tried to get the flowers but it's hard to see them. And, of course, the steering wheel's on the left. :)

I want to get one of my own one day, and I would either get the color you have, or green, or that neon yellowish-green one I see. Unfortunately, they don't make those anymore so I'd have to get a used one. :( I also saw a custom one months ago that had gigantic rainbows covering it. That is very tempting to get, but I can't imagine how much money it costs to have that paint job done.

Thanks for the pictures! I would so love a convertible one... maybe one day! I saw a brand new convertible and it had huge flowers painted all over it! WOuld certainly make a statement!
