I really really LOVE "Say Goodbye" from the Boston DVD. It's full of feeling, well performed, so emotional.

But when I listen the SYW version.. nothing happens. I think Lindsey didn't do his best in this version. I mean, great guitar, great arrangement, but maybe too good and too many guitars, or maybe it's too fast. I don't know.

The live version is slower, touchy, emotional. It's a beautiful song! I would try to put this live version on the radios, it could be a success!

The studio version is good, but live it has something special, something... I don't know...

I think the live version is sex on a stick - I think it is the "Siver Springs" sex moment of the last tour.

Me too - Silver Springs was what made me go WTF?? on The Dance tour, and Say Goodbye (as soon as I started to breathe again after it) made me go WTF?? on this tour!

As much as I love LB, "SG" is not one of my favorites. However, at the last concert I attended (Sleeptrain Ampitheater, Marysville, CA) he started crying during the song previous to it (some Stevie thing, can't remember what) and then, with tears still in his eyes, intro'ed "Say Goodbye" by talking about how the drive there made him think of his father, Morris, and dedicated the song to him. It was magic.

Although it took every ounce of self control not to punch out a drunken Stevie fan who kept yelling "I love you Stevie" through Lindsey's emotional intro. Show some friggin' respect, the man's crying for chis'sakes!

I think any live Lindsey performance can be described that way!

But I'm not biased or anything. :)
