View Full Version : Spin off- Random song lyric game

So since the Stevie lyric game um stopped? I don't know whatever happened to it....

While playing I was always thinking of other artist's lyrics to apply - so how about a random lyric game?

For those of you who did not participate here's how it works:

You start with a lyric - then the next person take another lyric with one word in common from the previous lyric and so on :D

Since this is chit chat pull from any artist out there!

I'll start:

And in the end the love you take is equal to the love....you make...

You're supposed to pull one word from the previous lyric - bold THAT word so that everyone knows which is the common word and so on...
examples:

mine: the coat of many colors that my momma made for me....

some other posters: your momma she's the Van Lear rose....

Then someone else pulls a common word from the last one and bolds the commone word...

They're recording a new album right now and it should be out before summer. According to their website, they're in the process of installing web cams in the studio so that you can see them recording and working on songs. My heart skipped a beat when I read that. Take a cue, Fleetwood Mac.

I actually saw Starship on tour in '85 or so... the "We Built This City" album's tour... Someone else paid for the ticket, but I was excited to see Grace Slick, hoping I'd get to hear "White Rabbit". Yeah, right.

The music wasn't bad (or I guess I should say the "sound"), but they had this red old-timey phone booth to the side of the stage, advertising a hotline for teen runaways, 1-800-I-LOVE-YOU. And they didn't just mention it once, they stopped the show several times to point to the phone booth and go on this diatribe about runaways... It was VERY weird.
