What are the last 10 discs that you have listened to?

1.Saigon Kick-s/t
2.Saigon Kick-The Lizard (S.K. sounded like a combination of David Bowie lead vocals & Beatles/Queen backing vocals w/Alice In Chains musical instrumentation...How they were lumped as 'Hair Metal' is beyond me!)
3.Jon Oliva's Pain-'Tage Mahal
4.Chris Caffery-Faces/God Damn War (Oliva & Caffery are both members of Savatage/T.S.O.)
5.TNT-Tell No Tales
6.Fleetwood Mac-Tusk
7.Blue Murder-Nothin' But Trouble
8.Thin Lizzy-One Night Live
9.Whitesnake-s/t (1987)
10.Dream Theater-Live At Budokan

Going to listen to some Mother Love Bone now...Cant wait to see the documentary on Andrew Wood's life that is upcoming for release http://www.malfunkshun.com A true genius who passed way too early from this life (Not metal/hard rock...Just damn good tunes period!!!)

I tried being opened minded with Big & Rich when they first appearred on the scene...But I've grown to really not like that album at all, I guess they are an acquired taste for even the country crowd.

Btw, Do ya recommend Stan Getz? I saw his release with Chet Baker and considered maybe ordering it since I have heard tons of good things about Getz...

Well, they've got their own TV show on CMT and an endorsement contract with Chevrolet, so they can't be doing TOO bad with the mainstream listeners. There's really only TWO songs on their album that I would even classify as "country"...they're rockers through & through. ;)

they can't be anymore country than Tim McGraw, Whose roadshows are as country as a Fleetwood Mac show from the Peter Green era

Kinda sad but Big & Rich were booed bigtime at the Ford Center while opening for Mr.McGraw (Along with the Warren Bros., Who were avoided the boos opening the show while being nearly the same rock/less country as B&G)

This is kind of a difficult thread for me to reply to. You see, my stereo has a 60 disc cd changer, which is filled with my own personal compilations and I normally just set the play mode to shuffle.

As best I can remember, these are the most recent actual albums, in no particular order, that I've listened to from start to finish.

1. Fleetwood Mac: Time (had the urge to listen to it because of a brief discussion of that line up in the Christine McVie forum)
2. Lindsey Buckingham: Law and Order
3. Lindsey Buckingham: Go Insane
4. Lindsey Buckingham: Out of the Cradle (gee, I wonder which member of FM is my fav?)
5. The Big Lebowski soundtrack (Just bought it the other day.)
6. Modest Mouse: Good News for People Who Love Bad News (GREAT album!)
7. Walter Egan: Walternative (still my fav Egan album, even though Linds is nowhere to be found on it)
8. The Best of Howard Jones (a little nostalgia from my childhood)
9. John Stewart: Wires from the Bunker (had the urge to listen to it after hearing about my friend's Stewart concert experience)
10. Warren Zevon: The Wind (playing at this very moment)

As I look over my list, it occurs to me that despite owning well over 400 cds, I really don't get much variety in my music listening. Oh well.

Is that her first album, the mostly acoustic one...? I love her first 2 albums, but sadly haven't gotten to hear the most recent one.

I got to meet her briefly in Austin, around the time the red album came out (the one with "One Big Love" and "Jiggly Fingers" - I'm totally blanking on the name...), and she was just about the coolest person I've ever been around.

And she's MUCH prettier in person -- she just doesn't photograph well at all for some reason (IMHO). Or, at the least, needs photographers who do her justice...

I'm not Mikki, but I'm a huge Patty fan! Living With Ghosts is her first album, it's her and an acoustic guitar, and it's stunning. I still get chills when I listen to songs like "Time Will Do The Talking" and "Every Little Bit." Should have known you'd be a big Debbie Downer of a Wendy fan -_- Her designs are ass and I think Kara Saun has the most talent by far. I'd say she's confident but you have to be when you're going up against other designers and standing in front of Michael Kors, IMO. Pretentious though? I don't think so but that's just my opinion.
