Double CD for Freedom in Burma

[SuzeQuze]

I read in O that Bonnie Raitt has done a cover of Angel from Montgomery for this cause. I love that song, particularly Susan Tedeschi's rendition of it. Below is the first paragraph from the Web site.

Twenty seven music stars including U2, R.E.M., Eric Clapton, Avril Lavigne, Peter Gabriel, Coldplay, and Pearl Jam have released "For the Lady," a brand-new double CD set dedicated to freeing the world's only imprisoned Nobel Peace Prize recipient, Aung San Suu Kyi and the 50 million people of Burma.

I love Angel from Montgomery, too. I have a live version of Bonnie and John Prine performing the song together. It's really good, though I have to admit it doesn't top Susan Tedeschi's version for me. If you want, I can send it to you. :)
