I f*cking love Sandra Bernhard. If she wasn't a raging lesbian, I'd go after her. "Can I kiss you on the lips, Miss Sandra?" I am SO getting tix to see her again if she comes out here.

I have an interview with her somewhere on my altar of Sandra where she talks about interviewing Stevie for MTV and she said that Stevie is very odd and quite aloof, but warm and interesting.

Sandra is a total kook and I love it. And she has good taste in music. Not only does she like Stevie but she also adores (as I do) Ann and Nancy Wilson. A woman after my own heart...

Have you heard her last album? It's a must-have, the Stevie bits are hilarious. I especially love when she starts talking of their torrid lesbian affair amongst a sea of shawls in Stevie's living room. And the Courtney Love cracks will have you rolling.

I met her YEARS ago. She is a hoot!!!!!!!!!!!!

She is also no scared to tell it like it is and does not care who she offends by doing so. I was at this benefit where a few people in the front row kept getting up and down and they were obviously coked up out of their heads and getting up to do more. She stopped hert act, walked to the end of the stage, and tore tham a new one in not so nice tones. She qas like "you think that [shiitte] is good and cool - well I am here to tell you I do not give a FU&* what you do, but do not come crying to anyone here when you are addicte and your life is in the toilet because if it - and another thing, if you need it so bad during my show - then leave and do not come back - but ask yourself who is controling who!!!!!!!!!!! Good for her I say!!!!

I saw her at The Ironhorse in Northampton, MA back during her '98 tour and she did something similar. There was a guy talking on his cell phone while she was doing her act and she growled "Get the f*ck out, mother****er." Didn't get to meet her, though, wish I had. I? Love her. I want to be her when I grow up.

I literally hauled my a$$$ backstage immediately after the curtain fell. I was a little terrified someone would try and stop me, but no one did. She was WAY cool.

Courtney Love cracks or Courtney Love on crack? Either way, I am totally there...

I think that's the first time I've ever heard someone describe Stevie as "aloof."

"Very odd," on the other hand....

It's on her album "I'm Still Here, Dammit!" Buy it, you'll love it. The track "Herminio Is My House Painter" gets me every time.

I like her, she's a good actress, capable of great performances, like in The King of Comedy and Hudson Hawk. I've seen only one of her interviews with Stevie and it was really nice.

I think she was the ONLY good thing about Hudson Hawk.

I could stand her on Roseanne when I was younger - like when the show was actually on...now though I like her character and I like Sandra....I don't know why I disliked her so when I was younger

Totally off topic, but another good thing about Hudson Hawk is what Richard E. Grant wrote about the shooting in his book "With Nails", it's hilarious.

I remember seeing an interview w/ Sandra where she stated that she didn't really know Stevie and had only interviewed her for that MTV Interview. She described Stevie as distant or remote, but I am pretty sure she didn't say aloof. But according to this new interview it sounds like they have hung out a little. Hmm...

That's the definition of aloof, dear.
