Rocker JON BON JOVI insists he would turn his back on his left-wing political beliefs and vote Republican if pal ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER ever ran for US President.

The LIVING ON A PRAYER hitmaker is a staunch Democrat, who performed at rallies for JOHN KERRY as he fought to defeat PRESIDENT GEORGE W BUSH in the presidential election last November (04).

But he wouldn't hesitate in supporting the action man-turned-California Governor if the Austrian-born superstar was ever given the OK to run for office in the White House.

He says, "I would vote for him right now. I've known him a long time. I think he's a brilliant man, on and off the camera, and he's the most hard-working man, the most focused I've ever seen.

"He knows more about our country, having come to this country as an Austrian, than a lot of people who have never been to our Statue of Liberty.

"Forget the history concept, he understands what it is to come from nothing and he knows very well what it is to have everything... He came and worked as a construction worker in Santa Monica. I think he had a well-rounded background.

"I've been in a room with him and talk about people that light up a room. I think world leaders are gonna come to see him the same way."

:laugh::laugh::laugh:

Must be why The Gropenfueher lied and said that when he first came to America, he saw Humphrey and Nixon debate each other on television, eh? Funny thing is that there was no such debate.

Bon Jovi can kiss my lily white ass. His music sucks and he's got lousy taste in friends if Ahnuld is one of them.

Wait...he can't run right? He's not a "natural born" citizen or whatever. Isn't that one of the stipulations? Please, please say it is! :distress: :sorry:

I'm afraid the stupid people of this country would vote him in just like they voted for that other actor back in the 80's.

Whatever, he's a tool. If Bon Jovi would vote for him because he "works hard" and "has charisma", and not look at his policies, goals, and groping, groping, sexual harrassing hands, then Jovi is a tool, too.

Yes - it is a requirement that in order to run the person must be at least 35 and a natural born citizen of the United States...

However, there is now talk of doing away with that requirement...:distress:

At last, we have undeniable proof that overusing hair spray (possibly in connection with too-tight circus pants) DOES ravage your brain cells.

I was actually surprised I was the first one to post that, too.

This is what too much hairspray can do to a person.

Orrin Hatch introduced legislation to change that. But it has not passed.

It probably never will. In a way, it is unfair in that someone born in another country that lived there a day then came to the U.S. for the rest of their lives can never be Pres. - that hardly seems fair. Moreover, the thinking behind the original text is archaic in that it was that the King of England or his English born puppet could never be Pres. and therefore give the US back to England.

I guess I can never run for President then.

Must be a load off everyones shoulders.

Hmmmm...Schwartzenegger, Austrian. Wasn't the guy who was the leader of Germany about 60-70 years ago Austrian, too? See what happens when you let those pesky Austrians run a country?

Gee, if we're going to change the constitution, why not repeal the part that says the POTUS can only serve two terms or ten years? Then Dubya could cheat his way through yet ANOTHER election.
