I love her. Saw her live and she was magnificent. Just as good as her hubby, IMO.Well, to be honest, I've only heard one album. But that one turned me off to listening to any other albums.

And to be honest again (it does seem habitual), I don't know the first thing about her husband.

but the only people who NOW like Loretta Lynn are those who only started to listen to her because of the asstard from White Stripes playing/producing her album...I wonder where those diehard fans were at BEFORE that album? Kinda sad but I think she should have won 'Grummies' long before her current album (That's not a slam at her either, Just find it funny that it takes alot for one of these award shows to give credit where it is long overdue, And if it happens before an artist's life has ended IT..IS...A...DAMN...Miracle!)

I don't even care for the performances on an award show anymore, Why watch a 2-3 hour show just to hear 1, maybe 2 songs that worth the ****? Loretta & the asstard from White Stripes may sound good together, But ya never goin' to top Loretta Lynn & Conway Twitty!!! Those 2 playing together made CLASSICS!

Her voice has always been splendid, Just why did it take all these years for her to get back in the national spotlight when most diehard country fans know she never left.

Alicia Keys is pretty, but ruins it when she opens her mouth to speak. She needs to take speech classes because that ghetto accent she has going on makes her sound terrible.

Beyonce floats my boat. She's gorgeous, looks like a *real* woman and not a toothpick, can sing her ass off, can write killer songs; she just has the whole package. I bought her live DVD and it didn't disappoint. :)

when proof comes out (After your death) that you have 1,500 (!!!) illegal prescriptions to drugs as "EL-vis" had, I think even Keith Richards would have to say "No Mas"!

At least Sinatra's daughter had a great tune with "These Boots" whereas the "Kink" had a tone-deaf Michael Jackson sex toy as a daughter

Just think, I actually liked Lisa Marie, UNTIL she did a morning network news show and showed her vocals were worse than even Ass-leak Simply-tarded vocal fiasco at this year's Orange Bowl...I swear I never saw so many dogs yelp in pain in my life, Definitely a studio created voice such as Simply-tarded's voice

I may br a rookie on this board but the way we play this game is: For example

Elton John or Billy Joel?

Next person picks Billy Joel
Then offer Billy Joel or Billy Idol?

Next guy says Billy Idol
Then offers Billy Idol or Stray Cats?

Next guy says Stray Cats
and offers Stray Cats or Cat Stevens?
Get it? Each answer has the previous name or connection in it....
At least that is how we play it here in the woods. There is a connection between THIS or THAT

I never liked him. :sorry: He didn't have a good enough voice to be a singer, I'm mystified as to how he became so legendary as one. His take on Cole Porter's "Well, Did You Evah!" makes me cringe in agony.
