This is just something i've been wondering. I'm sure all of you are huge Sean Hannity fans (hehe, NOT!) but for those of you who don't listen to his show, in his last segment everyday he usues "Dreams" as an introduction. How do you all think Stevie feels about this and did she have to give permission? Just curious.

My skin would crawl if he even said my name, let alone played one of my songs. I think any person with a brain and a heart would be rather disgusted to have their song played on his show and if I were Stevie and found out about it, I'd let him know immediately that I do not approve of his filthy show or endorse it one bit.

And what the hell are you doing listening to that swill?!

I happen to be a Sean Hannity fan! I'm pretty sure that Stevie is a democrat, but I don't think anyone has to have permission to play your song. Bill Clinton did not ask Christine if it was OK to use "Dont Stop" for his election run. She didn't object, but she has just said that he didn't ask. I don't think personally that Stevie would mind, unless she was a hardcore Democrat. Just like Chris said "regardless of what your political beliefs may be, its still an honor to have a political figure use your song."

Since when is he a hardcore Republican? Seems to me that no one knows for sure, especially considering that he plastered a John Kerry sticker on one of his cases during the tour.

Well when asked about that in the Penguin Question and Answer session...he retorted with a laugh..."THEY" (meaning the other band mates...i guess) put it on there as a joke....knowing that he was a republican.

Also Lindsey has stated in an interview (with a mag.) that John was a staunch Republican.

A true Republican would never vote or support Bush. ;) That's the difference between a Republican and a neocon.

Listen to the first verse:

Now there you go again

Well, who am I to keep you down

If he isn't twisting that song to promote his agenda and the farce of giving the Iraqi's "freedom," my name is Rick Santorum.

Sometimes I think that specific posters on this site can be...very rude....to those who have a differing opinion. God forbid I say something that wrecks your "everyone thinks the way I do, just because" little world here. A simple question was aksed, and a sarcastic response was given, and also praised by another poster. Now when I am sarcastic on this board, it's a sin of the most high! What a joke huh? Yea, I agree. I admire that. But from little hints I have gotten from things Chris has said in the past...I don't think she leans to one party or the other really.

If I were a celebrity, I too would not be able to just sit by and not speak out. Now of course, you and myself would be taking completley different sides...but we do agree that we would speak out. :)
