TOSOTM Listening Party Goodies

Does anyone have any info on the mirror/brush combo in the bag that was given out at the listening party? Size? ..etc? I have heard that they are silver and that the mirror is engevaed with ALICE on the back. Any other info?

Can I chime in with: Does anyone have much information about this party at all? Where it was held, who all attended, etc? I've got the impression in the past that this was a fairly grand event, and have seen pictures that I think were from this, although might not be as there are some costuming conflicts (unless of course Stevie was pulling some costume switcheroos): Stevie looking like she's slow dancing with Billy Idol while wearing a light blue satin Alice in Wonderland style dress, Stevie standing around with Axel Rose and Steven Tyler while wearing hmm...black maybe(?) with a big Tango-ish style hat.
I know this is not everyone's favorite Stevie era, but personally I loved her clothes and look the most then, didn't think the weight gain looked bad on her then (it seemed more pronounced and less flattering by TimeSpace and Behind the Mask IMO) and loved all the (short lived) initial fanfare about OSOTM. And I would love to own (or at least see) on of the promotional kaleidoscopes for OSOTM that I used to try to buy on Ebay but always got outbidded on!!!

This is my absolute favorite era of Stevie and most of you know that already. I saw a picture once of her dressed as Alice in Wonderland with a blue dress and hair in briads. It looked really cool, ill try to dig it up. I know theres this invitation thing on Stevie Nicks Underground and its for the OSOTM listening party.

i believe it was held @ her home, i have 1 pic of her during the party in the arms of billy idol, they both look fabamundo!!!~ stevie makes a most beautiful alice :nod: ~<div align=center>

She was soooo much more adventurous then with color and clothes. She looks super fabu when she did Rooms On Fire on Top of The Pops. I've never seen the whole thing, just the little snippet available on their website.
I think the party invite was printed in the OSOTM tourbook, too. Now if only I could find that.
Billy Idol looks like he thinks he's gonna get a little somp somp in that picture. Wonder if he did!

I was tooooootally thinking that. Maybe a little pre-event line party? :lol: that's why i hope they got together, they look totally matching... :p
That said, I really don't like Stevie's dress. :distress: Course, I have a repulsion to light blue satin...course, my eight grade grad dress was this godawful pink satin thing along those same lines, but strapless. :laugh: Ah, '85-'87 - what were we thinking? :p

Here is some info I received on the items from the party (Thanks Dreamtimezzz)


The mirror/brush combo: Came in red velvet bag.
Size of Mirror is 4"X2-3/8" (Smaller than I thought)
Engraved with the word Alice on back
Brush 3 - 3/4" long

Both made of silver - silver plate

The Kalidescope is 8 5/8" long with a clear prism in end that refracts (they way Kalidescopes do) whatever you are pointing it at. Cardboard tube with internal mirrors.


I thought the mirror was much bigger, but evidently not. So there you go.....
