Does anyone else love marshmallow Peeps? I was in the drugstore the other day and they already had the Easter Peeps out. Of course, they have Valentine's Day Peeps, too, but the Easter ones are best. :D I did make myself sick eating them once - not a pretty sight. :eek: :laugh:

Speaking of Easter candy, I also love Reese's eggs. :thumbsup:

Peeps are so cute. I'm the biggest sucker for cadbury creme eggs, though... :] And knowing there's chocolate cake, ice cream, and soda in the kitchen is not making things any better! lol

I have to say I think the Cadbury carmel eggs are the best candy I have ever had. My mom was in the hospital last year having a new knee put in and I sat there and ate like 12 of them in one sitting and in about 15 minutes :eek: :laugh:

Needless to say I had such a sugar high I ran in place :laugh:

Peeps are one of least favorite candy!! I am not a fan of marshmellows though (the vegetarian in me :p ) I LOVE those snickers eggs, though. I just think they are 10 times better than a regular snickers.

The main standard - it has to have chocolate- otherwise I'm just not terribly interested :laugh:

First of all, I hate Peeps - they have a nasty aftertaste. Yuck. Deanna - have you tried sponge candy yet? They claim it's a local Western NY thing, I don't know if that's true. Very tasty!

I love Cadbury Cream eggs. But if they get old, the cream hardens into a thick gunk - I found that out last year. I was all excited, I had saved an egg for a month or so - never again...

And yes, I usually eat the filling, then the chocolate. I also eat things like M&Ms, Skittles, Sweet Tarts two at a time. Never big handfuls.

And every year Wegmans gets these sour gummy lips for Valentine's Day. LOVE them! They're not severely sour or coated with sugar like neon sour worms are. They're just nice & juicy & slightly sour & good.

That's exactly why I don't like them, it's the after taste. I think it's the food coloring. :distress: Otherwise they would be delicous because there is nothing wrong with a sugar coated marshmallow!

If you want to save a Cadbury egg freeze it. It sounds like you may have gotten a really old one because they should last longer than a month. I love those things, I savor them with small bites, I prefer the filling and chocolate to both be in my mouth at the same time. Ooey gooey greatness. :thumbsup: I want I want!

Peeps and candy corn are the WORST and those dang Brachs white candies that look like the candy equivalent of fruitcake... GAG! I dont like raisins in anything except plain either. or nuts. they gotta be plain too! and coconut...its taken me half a lifetime to tolerate mounds or almond joy...

but on the plus side: I LOVE anything with caramel or rice crispie :blob1:

I never got the appeal of those things either - my mom has LOVED both as far back as I can remember....of course she also mixes m&m's and skittle - yuck.
