Do you do any and where do you shop and what do you buy?

I have purchased DVDs and CDs at Amazon.com. I bought my camera at Ritz camera online last year. The store at the mall did not have the model I wanted so I ordered it online and got it in less then a week. Tax free, too :blob2:
I ordered from Dunkin Donuts.com at Xmas time.

I ordered my contact lenses online and got them on Monday.

I have ordered DVDs from, Wal Mart, Circuit City, and Best Buy in the last few years.

Other then that I am not a big online shopper but I think that I am going to become one.

The only thing I don't like about buying online are the shipping costs. They're ridiculous. You find a DVD online that's $5 cheaper than in a store, but then you essentially pay the same amount once shipping is tacked on. And if it's defective, you have to pay to send it back. :(

Yeah, someplaces do have free shipping but you have to wait a longer time to receive it. I hate waiting. I do seem to have good luck with Amazon, however.

I got my digital camera at Buy.com.

I've shopped just about everywhere online. LOL Wal-Mart, Best Buy, Amazon.com, and yes, Ebay. I love www.alldirect.com when I am looking for an import or something, they have a pretty great selection of CD's, DVD's and books. Decent prices too, check 'em out.

I've bought my mom a Valentine's package and my friend a Christmas chocolate package online.

I love to compare prices on stuff, see who charges tax, who doesn't, where I can get free shipping, etc.

but I enjoy www.cdinzane.com , I paid $2.99 for shipping and had the cd 2 days after I placed my order...That was the fastest I have ever seen an online order arrive and the price was reasonable, $10.95 for a 2 disc import!!!! And this release (Chris Caffery's "Faces/God Damn War") was NOT the edited US release either!!!

Plan to wipe cdinzane.com out when we get our taxes filed (Have a ton of medical expenses to claim, Both Deb's & my own, Not including mileage, etc.).

YEP - and I am a member of the club and get a discount!!!!

Goldie has seen my obsession with airline and other points in action. I usually find a way to get the most for less and why not - better in my pocket than in their's. I am flying to Hong Kong and China in March FIRST CLASS on Air France for FREE with Delta points. I am also staying for free a few night in the hotels I am going to. The usual suspects..... Amazon, B&N, buy.com, e-bay.

I've bought food gifts from Omaha Steaks and Hickory Farms. Clothes from wet seal and delia's. I also buy a lot of my jeans online from Old Navy, because I know the size and lenght I want, and it saves me a trip to the store.

I think in a generation or two we will see even more radical cultural change than we did in the last century, however sadly it will be mainly after almost everyone living now is dead, there will be new views on drugs, homosexuality, downloading music and everything, however it jsut requires current stereotypes to dissapear and that only comes with the people who hold them being gone.

I have seen a huge shift in this world in the sixteen I have been here, unfortunately not all of it good, that's why I think the only way of getting rid of the certain stereotypes and prejudices that exist now is if you get rid of the people that cause them, not KILL them, but time will show a drastic shift I hope, I think it is important to our long term future.

Wow. I'm SO jealous. I loved it when we were there in 1999. They had just spruced everything up in Beijing and Guangzhou for the 50th anniversary of the PRC. The people were great, too. We visited a tiny little village outside Nanchang so we would have an idea of the type of village our babies probably came from, and the people in the village were awesome. Dirt roads, had to get water from an outdoor pump. All the homes were open and we were told it was okay for us to peek in. Very little furnishings, and no luxuries (by our standards anyway), yet they were the happiest people. And thrilled to see a bunch of Americans wandering around. I'd avoid the open air markets if I were you, though, because they do eat EVERYTHING there, and it's usually sold live.

We plan to go back when our daughter is 10, with our whole travel group. I can't wait...

One of the sites that I mention I have shopped at, vtbear.com (http://www.vtbear.com), was under fire for their crazy for you bear. Ultimately they decided, "We're not in a position to be told what we can and cannot sell''.

I don't really see the bear as offensive.

Carol

How are they? I see them in photo magazines but have never ordered. I also see Adorama but I never have ordered from them online. I have gone to the actual Adorama store in NYC. I won't get to go back there soon so I am going have to order online.

I am looking for SD cards, printer ink and photo paper. Do you know if they have good prices? I have my eye on a few cameras which I can't afford but
it is fun to look.

Just shows (Broadway, Las Vegas, concerts) when I'm going to travel to the US. Buying earlier assures me a good seat.

I have seen Mamma Mia, Cats, Sigfried&Roy, B&theBeast, Lion King, etc.. Before internet it was impossible cause being already in the city, it's hard to get one or 2 days before.

I have also bought CDs thru amazon, those who I know it's hard to find in Peru.

I do not see how that bear is offensive, I find it humorous myself...

I think some people (Who would find it offensive) in the world need to pull their heads outta they're asses before they bite corn!

I think it's funny too and I bet the crazies do too, although I may have just spoken for us -- uh, them. :D

Actually, that bear is hella funny. If anyone ever had the audacity to buy me a stuffed animal, I'd want it to be that one.

I just did an online order with them. I bought an SD card for $39.99. That same card is going for $69.99 at Best Buy and Circuit City.
I also bought a few rolls of Fuji Press Film.
I am shooting a friend of mine's wedding and I want to make sure that I have enough film and memory. :]
