They sure were! Well, we know for sure now that *Lori* hasn't been answering the Ask Stevie questions...
I loved the "are you gonna tour with Stevie again?" question. But cripes, Lori -- go on tour already and let the kid have some bitchin parties in the pad!!!
Which leads me to the question for Jessica... Kinda sad answer, but I don't feel sorry for her. Nope. Not a bit. ;)

i thought jessica's answer was sad also, she made it seem as if being stevie's neice was cramping her style~ seemed kinda ungrateful 2 me & that makes me sad~ could just b her indifferent attitude being a "teenager", but it dissappointed me nonetheless  ~ but awesome    2 pip, 4 u 2 have your ? answered & she remembers u, how cool is that!!!~

:) I like how Jessica said "there are good points and bad... on one hand she's just my aunt, on the other, kids can be mean.." sorry, which of those was the good part? :) I guess it must be hard, if the kids know she is stevie's niece, but I can't even imagine how they would be mean about it... "ohhh, your aunt is stevie nicks!!" or maybe "ha ha, you have a cool, wealthy aunttttt who picks you up from school in a limoooooo!" (I'm guessing.. how cool would that be... sigh) :o

MAybe most don't know, but then the teacher may ask... Are you a Stevie Nicks relative??
And then the fire is started. remember how cruel can be young people

It's also possible they make fun of her aunt's obvious eccentricities. I mean, we think stevie is normal, but a thirteen year old may have a very different view of her style and career...

Yeah, I'd guess there are three basic angles of attack:
- The twirling (and general spaciness)
- The singing
- And maybe her weight?
Kelly

Lori, Chris and Jessica live in a separate wing of Stevie's Phoenix house. However, Stevie spends a large amount of time in LA, where she has her house on the ocean.
When we talked to Jessie in Camden, she seemed like a normal teen, suffering from normal teen angst. Lori seems very protective, perhaps Jessie is just struggling with normal teen problems such as wanting more freedom. Having a famous Aunt could make everyday issues like that much more complicated.
As for the questions...they are awesome. I was really hoping that no one was going to ask questions that she already answered in the Singer's Page.

5 new questions, 3 ended up being about Jessica. I really can't wait for Sharon's Q and A. Please tell me thee are no little Sharon Celanis running around, so they can ask if Sharon jr. plans to follow in Stevie's footsteps.
I can see the questions now
Stevie Fan #1
So Sharon do you have a daughter and if so will she be following in Stevie's footsteps.
Well no I don't have a daughter. But I have a cat
Stevie Fan #2
heh Sharon you're just the best back up singer EVER, so does your cat and Stevie's dogs hang out a lot.
Well no, my cat's scared of dogs.
Stevie Fan #3
Sharon, will your daughter be in a singing group with Jessica Nicks. That would just rock.
#3 You must've missed the first question where I clearly said I have no daughter, and if I did, i really wouldn't push a music career and really would wait to see how she felt after school was over but again that all doesn't matter becasue I really don't have a daughter
Stevie Fan #4.
Does your daughter and Jessica Nicks get along. Are they around the same age or is there quite an age gap.
Well if you consider 15 and not born at all an age gap, yes there's an age gap, I HAVE NO DAUGHTER. danm you John Kinney would you filter these danm questions or I'll never hear Stevie in the morning or at nightfall AGAIN.

What I don't understand is, why aren't the questions being submitted sorted in some way? When Marty and Lis hold a Q&A here at the Ledge they screen the questions. They try not to tie up valuable time with the guest having to answer or wade through duplicate questions. What is the point of just dumping all of it in her lap.
Unless she plans on answering all of the questions that are submitted, I don't understand why she's answering the same ones over and over. Surely 90% of them can't be about Jessica, your favorite tour or song or what it's like living with Stevie....can they?

Evidently they can :distress: I wonder if he gave her a print out of each question she's recieved and she's answering them one by one on her own and submitting them back to John. I would suspect knowing how much people still adore her is quite flattering and that she feels she needs to take time with each question, thank the person and then answer...even if it's something she's answered 20 times already. More than a little monotonous but It's nice she's taking the time.

La Mer rocks! She lives in a dry climate and it's great for that. The story behind La Mer:http://www.neimanmarcus.com/store/catalog/prod.jhtml?itemId=prod00982&parentId=cat000377&masterId=cat000339&navCount=1&navAction=jump

Aaack! Does Stevie get the $1,200 economy size? Her skin does look faaabulous, so I guess it's worth it!?
I wonder if Lori's reaching the bottom of the question pile - beginning w/ the ones sent around the holidays, judging from the Xmas and New Year's greetings.

unfortunately, without screening/compiling, everyone should plan on duplicity...

Prolly. Why not? It's a very heavy cream and I can only wear it overnight, which I do every other night. I can say that I notice a difference when I don't use it.

Maybe not 90%, but 50% might not be far off. ;) John got MANY 'what's your fave song to do live/your fave FM song/your fave tour/what song would you LIKE to do live'... you get the point...and actually I think we got tons of 'fave song to do live' for Brett as well....
BTW we didn't always screen questions, unfortunately....Ken Caillat's Q&A is a good example, ugh, poor Ken. :sorry:

Holy ****! That stuff is expensive!!! $110.00 for 1 oz.? Geezus.... :(
I thought it was very nice of her to take the time to answer questions. Why she had to answer the same ones over & over again is beyond me.
I can't see why Lori can't back Stevie up when Jessica is out of school for one summer for three months. Then Jessica can just come along. Good experience for her; then she'd get an idea of what touring is really like & whether she'd really like it.

I just spent $45 on the new Clinique night cream and I thought that was decadent!

La Mer is THE cream for celebs. Thank god my skin is pretty oily and I live in a humid climate because if I didn't, I'd be going bankrupt trying to buy this stuff.
I've been very impressed by the number of questions that Lori has answered and how often she seems to be answering them--I just wish there was more variety in the questions being asked & answered. I can't wait for Sharona to begin answering hers.
So Lori, if you're reading this--a great big thanks to you for doing this--it's really fun to read them.

Same here. Trust me, unwrinkled skin is the only thing Austin humidity has going for it.

Yeah. Too bad there's nothing new in them. Come ON!! How many times do we have to read an answer about what it's like to have Stevie as a sister in law, or whether Jessica wants to be a singer?
The only thing my optimist side can think is that Lori is answering every, single, solitary question - and therefore, she'll eventually get to MINE, and some others that are actually interesting.

OK, not only doesn't Sharon have a daughter, but she's also not related to Stevie, so cmon lets see Sharon's answers soon.

I just read them and I think it's such a shame that they're all like "Hi Lori! I don't really care about you; I'm just using you to find out things about Stevie." Some of those questions really do come off that way to me. :distress: Surely, someone can ask her some more questions that actually pertain to her personally.

Maybe someone should ask her about what kind of personality she has. I have barely heard her talk and have rarely seen her out of Stevie's shadow.
