I'm so psyched. The heating system is so bad at my school, and it is SO cold today, that they made us go home. Kinda strange, but it was freezing in my school, it was ridiculous. So, yay for a 1/4 day of school. :wavey:

Sorry - I just had to post. :wavey:

Lucky you, though. I wish I got out of school because of the cold when I was in high school.

We're at 1 degree here right now, -8 wind chill.

This morning at 7 when I woke up, it was -3 with a -15 wind chill. :(

OMG, I went to the rattiest dumps this side of Jamaica. But, yeah, we had heat. ;)

My elementary school was the worst. The kitchen was in the basement and the cafeteria was on the top floor. They used to transport the food through those lazy waiters. And the principal hated me because I always called him by his first name.

Yeah, it's about 45 degrees here, and that's really f*cking cold to us in Texas. Though, I wonder how well some of you would fare down here in the summer, when it's 110. :D

I know, I think it's cold too. I'm like "damn! it's frickin freezing!" :D
I think they have almost as hot a weather up in some of the states where it's cold right now
Yeah, 110 is hot. I lived where it got to 110 previously. It was mostly around 100-105 all summer, though.

Heehee. Are your humidity levels bad over there? You should come up north to the coast during summer, you'd pass out. 100 degrees with humidity levels so high that you feel lightheaded even when you're in an air conditioned room. It is not fun living so far up north during the summer. It's torturous.

I was thinking there was humidity. I hate humidity - about as much as i hate 72* and foggy almost all summer.

The humidity isn't as bad here as in Louisiana, where I'm from originally, and I'm sure it's worse in Houston or New Orleans. Although, I have heard people visiting Austin from northern states complain about the humidity. But I've still experienced worse.

It doesn't help that I live in the Bay State, either. I think that's why I love winter so much: because I hate the humid summers with a passion.

What am I gonna do if I have to move to Massachusetts to get married? I don't think I could take 1 degree weather. I'd have to go into hibernation or something.

I would LOVE it! The only time when I need to be a little cold is when I go to bed, because I like to cover up, and I have this weird thing where I HAVE to sleep in clothes. Most guys where a pair of underwear to bed...I can't fall asleep like that for some reason. But then, I'm sidebarring into all of my weird sleep patterns, so I'll move on.

I don't know when it was that I really started to hate the cold weather. Just one day I all of the sudden hated the cold. Of course, being as skinny as I am doesn't help much.
