You're welcome, it's fabulous, as are all of your icons. You should check your library to see if they have the entire photo book, it has all the photos from that session and a DVD from a session they did a couple of years ago. :thumbsup:

Awr. Thanks. :) Yeah, I actually have the book... I scanned all of the pictures I used from the Mick Rock sessions from it before my scanner decided to crap out on me. But it's a fabulous book. :thumbsup:

I think my favorite photos are the ones of her and Chris in their apartment. No makeup, no lighting, etc, and you can see how truly beautiful she is. And that troll photo is priceless. :laugh:

Do you have "Blondie: From Punk To Present"? That's another good one, but it's one huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge book. Weighs as much as my right leg.

Wow look, one with more than just Lindsey! These ones are going back a bit, before I knew about and became obsessed with the overlay function. The last one was my first icon, I was horny. Again the picture is Tiff's. There was my 'Neck Veins' one that I know Greg liked but it was only my second icon and I cheated. The design was mine but I was merely trying out the program and stole the base and brush so I'm not sure if I can post it as mine. You'll notice it looks awfully similar to parts of the graphics at lindseybuckingham.com

I use psp8 and by all means, take any. I wanted to make a header but I just paid for mine the other day and can't figure out S2 so I thought it would be a wasted effort. Of course I could just make one to plug in on the chance that I figure it out, or I could just settle for the two minute job I have up at the moment. A wallpaper? Sheesh, pressure's on now. See it's much easier when you only have yourself to please and also when the image is so tiny you can't see the imperfections. I might have a go at that after I give this LJ thing another shot.

Speaking of which, a semi-related question for the graphics pros on the board: if you have used both Photoshop and Paint Shop Pro, which would you say is better in terms of ease of use? I have Photoshop 7.0 right now and I can do some things in it, but I still find many elements of the program a bit confusing. Would I do better to sit down at length with a bunch of PS tutorials, or to get PSP?

If you were going to buy one or the other maybe PSP would be the way, depending on what you want to do but you don't have to concern yourself with the price issue so I'd stay with Photoshop. Mind you I only recently got anywhere and that was with CS. Yes I bought my copy ;) :o

I don't know how I'm supposed to represent her and Stevie fans intimidate me, not knowing whether a certain light will insult her being. I feel like an imposter, running over to burnish to get all her song lyrics and scanning them for something which might pass as appropriate. I felt weird going into her pictures, I'd never seen any of them before. It was like home, but in reverse.

So anyway, keep in mind that these were done at 3am (having not slept the night before either) and that they're my first attempts at capturing this woman who far from 'speaking to me', completely confuses me.

Apparently the colours are a little odd in this one. It could just be desatured like in the variant though.

Those are cool, Jaz. I like that you didn't mess with the pics themselves too much. Sometimes people change things (coloring, shading, etc) around so much it ends up looking awful & tacky.
