At it again=:-)
Here are mine:
Beautiful Child:
I bite my lip, can you send me away
You touch
I have no choice
I have to stay
I had to stay
Sleepless child
There is so little time
Your eyes say yes
But you don't say yes
I wish that you were mine
You say it will be harder in the morning
I wait for you to say, just go
I'm not a child anymore
I'm tall enough
To reach for the stars
I'm old enough
To love you from afar
I'm not a child anymore
No, I'm not a child, oh no
Tall enough to reach for the stars
I like the new ending she used on the tour where she ends with I still love you, I still need you, I wish that you were mine and it's so directed at Lindsey..... :)
Nightbird:
And the summer became the fall
I was not ready for the winter
And when I call
Will you walk gently
Thru my shadow
The ones who sing at night
The ones who sing at night
Cry for the nightbird tonite
Gorgeous song..

Beautiful Child:
"Sleepless child
There is so little time
Your eyes say yes
But you don't say yes
I wish that you were mine"
"I will do
As I'm told
Even if I never hold you again
I never hold you again"
Ugh. Heartbreaking!
And Nightbird:
"And the summer became the fall
I was not ready for the winter
It makes no difference at all
'Cause I wear boots all summer long" (Killer lyrics!!)
"And so the winter is really here now
And the blankets that I love
Sometimes I am surrounded
By too much love" (I especially love this last line, it literally sounds fabulous!)

Beautiful Child
"You fell in love when I was only ten
The years disappeared
Much has gone by since then"
I LOVE that part!
Also...
"I'm old enough
To love you from afar
Too trusting. . .yes
But then women usually are"
Nightbird
"And the summer became the fall
I was not ready for the winter
It makes no difference at all
'Cause I wear boots all summer long"

From Beautiful Child:
I love all of it, but especially:
"You fell in love when I was only ten
The years disappeared
Much has gone by since then
I bite my lip, can you send me away
You touch
I have no choice
I have to stay
I had to stay"
and
"I'm not a child anymore
I'm tall enough
To reach the stars
I'm old enough
To love you from afar
Too trusting. . .yes?
But then women usually are!
From Nightbird:
"My eye-make-up is dark and it's careless
Some circles around my eyes
Sometimes the real color of my skin
Is my eyes without any shadow"

well, I love about the whole of BC, but live, my favorites are: "I bite my lips, etc, you touch i have no choice, etc."
I don't really care for Nightbird, so no faves... :D

Beautiful Child: I will do as I'm told, even if I can never hold you.
Too trusting, yes, but then women usually are.
IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII, IIIIIIIIII do love you, I still need you, I wish, I wish that you were mine (live).
And Nightbird, probably one of my favorite Stevie lyrics:
Through the dark of the net of the lace
Pulls back the net and it's hard to see her face
Darling, you feel the touch
It's the touch that you WANT so MUUUUUUUCH
Through the net of the lace
Just like the white winged dove
It's hard to see her face
Don't be afraid
And you see...

Every.single."letter". in "Beautiful Child" is breath taking. One of Stevie's best as far as song writing. My favourite line of course is "too trusting, yes, but then women usually are....."
