I can't believe how different Lindsey's appearance can be in various photos. It's amazing. LOL When he gains or loses weight, it shows tremendously in his face, but that's not the only thing. It's hard to explain, but perhaps everyone can see what I mean. Look at these photos. I mean, there are a number of reasons for his change of appearance...hair cut, weight, lighting, bad/good side, but it's just a weird observation I made. LOL

Pic #1 - Tell me that doesn't look like Dubya. LMAO!!!

Pic #2 - He just doesn't look like himself in some pics...this being one of 'em.

Pic #3 - He looks a tad bloated or something.

Pic #4 - That smile is wicked weird. The nose looks funny to me.

Pic #5 - Again, with the bloated face. :confused:

Pic #7 - It's the hair that makes him look non-Lindsey.

Pic #8 - Again, the hair, but also, the side view.

Pic #9 - Matted down hair plus lighting = wierd looking facial features. LOL

He looks pretty much the same in today's pictures. Subtle differences, but the pics I posted are some of the most dramatic, IMO, of how his appearance has changed over the years.

I am dying to see what he looks like as of the year 2005. Can't wait for that album and tour!!!!!!!

Thanks for posting those! They were really interesting to look at all together. He really doesn't look like himself in some of those; it's weird. And I see what you mean about the bloating, though I don't think it's bad. He just looks fuller, but not fat. However, I don't think the Dance pic is a good pic. I love #11. :nod:

LOL! The ones you refer to as "bloated" I call "Chipmunk Face." It looks like he has a bunch of walnuts in his mouth OR he looks like he just got his wisdom teeth out. His weight does fluctuate an awful lot. Early Tusk he was mega thin (the pic referred to with the funny nose) then he seemed to gain weight. The pic of the shirt and tie - I've always thought he looked mega weird in those. Not like himself at all. He looked fine up until OOTC when he became skeletal again. And the messy hair scrag - yikes!!

It's funny I thought he was so cute during The Dance but when I see pictures like that he does look chubby and not very cute (to me anyway). But then there are some Dance pics that he doesn't look that chubby. (The Dance Video).

Although he may be a little thin now, I don't think it's the thinnest he's ever been. IMO this picture is Lindsey at the perfect weight!! I wanna see him like this! Go Lindsey!

I wonder if Lindsey has a natural weight struggle or if he intentionally would gain weight.

During Rumours...he looks healthy but by Tusk, he is too skinny...so he gains like 20 pounds for Law and Order ( and it just doesn't suit him)....I think he goes back and forth and by OOTC, he is REALLY skinny again...and then Dance he is totally ungroomed. He plucks...he doesn't anymore. He tans now...and probably works out to keep that hot, hot body he has now.

He's a little vain, and he doesn't want to look that way...but he is.

He actually looks a lot like Don Everly in #9 (the way Don has looked since the early 80's...wish I could post a pic).

I always thought LB looked bloated on the Mirage Tour, and not just weird camera angles in pics...in video. I suppose he looked a little heavier around that time, but it doesn't seem like enought to make his face that bloated. Although it seems also that he shows weight in his face very easily. With Mirage, though, it looks more like a medication side-effect or something to me (though he doesn't look that same way just before the tour in the promo pics) :shrug:. Does anyone know if he was ill around that time? I know he had been treated for epilepsy on the Rumours Tour, so I wonder if he was trying out some med for that? Once again, :shrug:.

ok, ive always had a theory aboot Lindsey's changing weight. I remember reading in a magazine a while ago that he is epileptic. If thats the case epilepsy meds make you gain weight, so like during the 80's (i.e. post-tusk, pre-OOTC) he mustve been talking them, then stopped around OOTC, and i dont know aboot the dance though....maybe he had a relapse :confused: , anyhoot, just a theory :D

I have such a disdain for men who let their chest hair grow up to their necks, Ryan. Lindsey did that for many a year until he properly learned how to manscape. Bless his skinny little heart, it's called a razor. :laugh:

I got my TV Guide last week in the mail and almost puked when I saw Matthew Fox on the cover, exposing his unruly chest/neck/facial hair for all to see. Carson? Kyan? Jay? Tom? Please help him.

This pic is hot, but those are definitely colored contact lenses. His eyes aren't that blue. :laugh:

I think somewhere between the Dance weight and now would be perfect for him. He wasn't chubby during the Dance, but he was heavier than we're used to seeing him. Now, he's a rail. So a happy medium would be great. Regardless, even at his "worst", Lindsey was, is and always will be an amazingly handsome man. :thumbsup:

I must have a different opinion of "chubby" cause I thought Linds looked GREAT on the Dance tour. I saw him live about half a dozen times and I loved his look. His clothes, his non gray hair. YUM. During this tour, he was too thin and let his hair get too gray. I prefer his curls when he dyes them a bit and just has a few grays to make him look distinquished. Lindsey seems to have aged more than any other band member from the Dance period through SYW. (I guess kids do that to ya!)

I have the Dance DVD and I have to agree with Kelly. He doesn't look chubby to me at all. I think he's young-looking on it, I like how he's dressed very suave, and--most importantly-- he is awesome throughout the entire thing. His face just looks fuller, but I wouldn't call that chubby. However, isn't Lindsey in his mid-to-late 50s? If so, I DON'T think he looks old for his age at all. I mean, if you look at some rock star people a la Keith Richards, Mick Jagger, Lou Reed, Paul McCartney when they were that age, I think it's safe to say that Lindsey looks years younger by comparison. And I love all the men I mentioned, as aging is a thing of life so it bugs me not--we all have, and will, eventually :) However, I am confused about all the weight talk. It seems to me he was always kind of skinny-looking, except for times when he just looked normal. I never saw a pic of him where he was overweight, really. But I'm also new to the whole FM/Lindsey scene, so maybe he does have weight issues, maybe he actually is old-looking in person, I don't know. Grey/white hair rocks though! For some reason, I'm all for the natural look. :nod:

I'm with ya, Jen! I think he was always either relatively skinny or normal. I think that he sometimes looks bigger in some pictures than he actually was, but doesn't that happen to all of us? I have quite a few pictures of myself that made me say "Um, that's just not what I look like." And I don't think he looks old, either.
