View Full Version : Things I Didn't Want To Know

During an hour's swimming at a municipal pool you will
ingest 1/12 liter of urine.

In an average day your hands will have come into
indirect contact with 15 penises (touching door
handles etc.)

An average person's yearly fast food intake will
contain 12 pubic hairs.

In a year you will have swallowed 14 insects - while
you slept!

Annually you will shake hands with 11 women who have
recently masturbated and failed to wash their hands.

Annually you will shake hands with 6 men who have
recently masturbated and failed to wash their hands.
(Really? Only 6? I would have guessed more like 600)

In a lifetime 22 workmen will have examined the
contents of your dirty linen basket.

At an average wedding reception you have a 1/100
chance of getting a cold sore from one of the guests.

Daily you will breath in 1 liter of other peoples'
anal gases.

HAVE A GREAT DAY...

....and wash your damn
hands!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know I've brought this up before, but I can't understand how one can swallow insects and not know it. Unless they're gnats, maybe. Is anyone else doubtful about this?

I was thinking about that too, and have other times when I've seen that list. I've heard they crawl into your mouth while you're sleeping and then you swallow them.

It can happen. But I freak out more about my ears. I usually sleep on my side, and I have to have my ear covered up with my blanket, it's an OCD tendency I have.

The thought of a bug crawling in there & laying eggs in my ear canal - ACK! At least you can close your mouth, or if something does crawl in your GI fluids should kill it. But ears - wide open!

Bed and dust mites. Every bed is full of them, no matter how often you wash your mattress or linens. Trust me, because I wash them every two days.

Everyone has a worm-like bug in each root of their eyelashes, too. Nasty, eh?

Nasty.

What a gross and disturbing list.

And the bug thing - you know probably a lot of the foods you eat have bugs in there.

The FDA does allow a certain amount of bug parts to be in stuff....Chocolate and Ketchup have the hight allowance - so when you eat those things....bug parts

And - there are bugs EVERYWHERE...I took a great entemology class...I know a little about bugs...

The hand shaking thing freaks me out...who the hell masturbates and doesn't wash they're hands..that's just gross.

Hand shaking is an antiquated custom that needs to be put out to pasture. I believe it's one of the main ways that germs are spread. I've read that Donald Trump refuses to shake hands! I completely agree, and TRY not to, but sometimes you can't get out of it.

"Hey buddy, how's about you just nod at me and say Hi. You can keep the flu virus and dried sperm to yourself!" :nod:You know, that might be going out of style to some degree already. I almost always do that, and people often look at me like I'm being old-fashioned and/or weird. Of course, it all depends on the setting. I hate to worry about stuff like that because I like to be touch-feely with people so much (though not when I first meet them).

Last night at the beginning of The Practice (which I don't actually watch, but I happened to catch the beginning) Candy Bergin walks in to the men's room while James Spader is peeing. Says she's doing some sort of sex discrimination case

She intros herself & he goes to shake her hand. She looks at it & says "Surely you are going to wash that first?" Spader says "No. I keep an exceptionally clean penis."

Lol, I just got some of that and have been eating it all the time! But yeah, if you put too much, it makes your eyes and nose water. The one thing that really makes me gag is phlegm and second to that is vomit.

Remember to always use a antibacterial wipe on the t.v. remote in a hotel!

I literally swoon just thinking about what pillow talk would be like with Alan Shore, let alone Spader himself. Ugggh. Sends a shiver up my spine, in a gooood way.

I died last night with the exceptionally clean penis line. The only thing I enjoyed more was Candy & Shat's exchanges.

Shat: "Crane comes before Schmidt."

Yeah, goes nicely with the diet thread! Read this and you won't wanna eat!

There are people in my office building who roll out a paper towel but don't rip it off BEFORE they wash their hands. So that means after they've done their business they're touching something that I usually don't touch until AFTER I've washed mine. So now I've started doing the same thing, as well as opening the door with said paper towel. And I never let my daughter touch anything in a public rest room, but I am teaching her how to open the door with her sleeve instead of her bare hand.
