Looks like we're in for a major ice storm today and tomorrow. I've been busy getting all my laundry caught up. This is gonna suck. :(

We're supposed to be getting ten inches of snow in the suburbs... doubt it'll happen, but I certainly look forward to being snowed in!

I love the snow. It's the being without electricity that I hate.

Looks like we're going to get it tomorrow -they're not sure which will hit us yet (snow, rain, ice or all) but I'm NOT looking forward to that...I don't want to lose my electricity or anything....and I still haven't purchased a snow shovel...which I guess I'd better do like..now

We are just getting rain. 50s and rain. It's been raining here for a week. We are worried about another flooding issue. We get them a lot.

same here with the ice storm, Though it has already started here.
Hopefully it will not be as bad as 2002 was when we were left without electricity (And heat since our furnace runs off of electricity) for nearly 3 days cause of the power outages.
Aw, the fond and f**kin' cold ass memories of 2002

You don't have a snowblower, either?
They come and plow the parking lot, but end up just pushing the snow up against our cars and we have to dig ourselves out. I bitched the apartment manager out last year over it and he's hated me with a passion ever since.

We have a blower (ewww, sounds wrong...), it just doesn't work right on our wavy, cracking, pothole of a driveway. So the shovels usually come out. Did I mention the driveway is double long/double wide? :( :distress:

We're waiting for our wintery mix (snow/sleet/rain/ice). I hope I can't get out of my house. I don't want to come to work. :D

We are supposed to get some kind of snow tomorrow night. Of course I have somewhere to go too. A co-worker is leaving and we are having a party for her at an Italian restaurant after work. I have never been there before and it is supposed to be very good so I am looking forward to going.
I just hope that Mother Nature does not interfere with my dinner plans.
The funny part is that I told the person that is running the whole thing about a week ago "now watch us have snow that night".
