Javier has given me two more songs to post now-- these are full-length, live Fritz songs-- over 12 minutes worth of music. The songs are Yellow and The Power and were recorded in Aragon High School in San Mateo in 1970. These will give an example of what Fritz sounded like live. They are also featured in the new discography script and you listen to the previously posted song clips there too. Lyrics for all songs are also available.
Discussion of these clips is greatly encouraged in this thread or by leaving a review on the Fritz page itself. Enjoy and Happy New Year to everyone! Thank you Javier for making this music available for everyone to hear.

I remember The Power from Lindsey's Behind the Music.

Javier, thanks for sharing your Fritz recordings & your notes about your new B3 & Leslie rig for these performances.
Don Leslie died just a few months ago. I saw him speak at a special program of the Museum of Making Music in Carlsbad about a month before he died, & he was as spry & avuncular as ever -- thrilled to be answering questions about his great invention.

The Power sounds like it could be a Dead song to me as a few of these other songs have. Yellow is heavier and I really like the lyrics, they'd still go well today.

Stevie is singing on both, she's lead on The Power (which I really liked.) Yellow is a bit harder to hear, so I'm not sure is Stevie's singing lead or if they're all singing? I can't make out LB's vocal that well on either.
Very cool to hear these. Thanks!

These tracks kick ass. I had a hard time hearing Yellow but The Power rocked! Hard to believe these were recorded at a high school. That shows true talent. Thanks for posting these.

It's amazing how much Stevie sounds like "herself," even at that early age.

Sorry, but The Power? Barf. I'm glad that this praisethelord thing was not written by our heroes.
Was Lindsey playing Bass on these? Hope so, I think the guitarwork on yellow sounds poor. The basslines rock, though.
It's great to hear these gems, javier. I just don't think they all have a lot of strength.

They kick ass! Musically I like Yellow the best, it rocks like crazy. Vocally I like The Power a lot. Although the recording may not meet modern professional standards or whatever, Stevie's voice still shines through this tune IMO.
I also like the guitar solo on The Power. Who's playing that?
