Yep! Except I'm looking at my list again, and scratching my head that I included "Holiday Road" instead of "Say Goodbye."

I've been listening to "H.R." a lot lately, so I guess it just insinuated itself into my Top 10.
But "Say Goodbye" definitely needs to be mentioned. I'm not crazy about the album version, as I've said, but the power of the lyrics can't be disputed, and the 'Live In Boston' version is ASTOUNDING. :D

I mean, I think "Oh Diane" is incredibly cute, but I suppose it's really not as good as "Steal Your Heart Away," so maybe they should be switched.

My list:

1. Someone's Gotta Change Your Mind - OMG the lyrics! his voice! the music! pure perfection
2. Come - especially the live version... Can you feel the fever? I certainly can!
3. I'm So Afraid - from The Dance. Need I say anything?
4. Without a Leg to Stand On - Lindsey's lyrical masterpiece. Look around but you won't see me, just a picture of what I used to be... I need a tissue!
5. Go Insane - from The Dance. A smidge different than the 84 version, wouldn't you say? But omg it takes my breath away.
6. Peacekeeper - the live version from the Special Edition SYW. He gets a little too excited by the word "kill" but I can put this one on repeat and let it play 24/7!
7. This is the Time - if for no other reason than the line "a little too erotic, how do we get things done?"
8. Dancing Across the U.S.A. - I crack up every time!
9. Twist of Fate - more great lyrics!
10. I Won't Be Too Young - Does this one count? It's more or less a duet with Walter Egan from Malibooz Rule! Just like a spring I'm wound up too tight... just like a bat I wait for my night... count my days but they move so slow... yeah I dream that I'm driving and playing my radiooooo.............

8. Dancing Across the U.S.A.

On second thought, scratch this one from the list and stick it in the honorable mentions because I've found one glaring oversight: Not That Funny from the Mirage Tour. All that moaning and screaming!!!! :]

You don't have his solo work? I just picked up a copy of OOTC from
Columbia House for like $2.00. I already have the album but couldn't pass up the price. Figured I'd use it to either introduce a new person to his work or help out an established fan.
If you email your address to me at [email protected] (Put Out of the Cradle as your subject line) I'll send it to you. It hasn't actually arrived yet (they had it on backorder but I got a notice that it finally shipped), so there may be a bit of a delay.

4. Save Me A Place
5. That's All For Everyone
6. Blue Letter
7. Go Your Own Way
