(Ok, let's try it again.)

There was lots of Fleetwood Mac (and related) activity this year, I was just wondering which of these stand out the most to you. There can't be more than ten options, so if Something Big ruled your world this year, do let us know by posting about it. ;)

For me the biggest thing has to be hearing some Buckingham Nicks live, followed closely by getting to hear some precious bootlegs from the post-Peter Green pre-Buckingham Nicks era.

Easily, In The Meantime. Nothing else even comes close. The first Christine McVie solo album in 20 years! My second choice would be all those great 1970-1974 bootlegs that surfaced this year.

I don't even think I have to say what my favorite thing of all those was. That John Q&A was pretty darn exciting for me. I feel like that's my baby.

I might add here that he recently mentioned on his own w/ no prompting from me :p the possibility of maybe getting back into it in 2005. heheheh, yeah baby, that'd be good...!

A lot of those other things in that little voting chart were also pretty amazing. It's been a cool year FMac-wise.

Well for me I just had to put down the Fleetwood Mac concerts. There is just nothing else like it for me. There was lot of really great stuff this year but being right there is the best.

I hope that this time next year there will be a box to check for 'Lindsey solo album and TOUR!" :]

Last year and this year were great. Hopefully next year we'll have a Stevie solo album and tour :]

I voted for the live Buckingham Nicks, but my second choice would be the scratchy, partial Fritz recordings. Javier sort of let the ball drop on that, unfortunately.

I'd still like to know just who spilled the live BN -- was it Hoppy? maybe Calderon? maybe Tom? maybe just some pal of someone's? Hmmm. . . .

In The Meantime, followed by the Reissues.
A Fleetwood Mac without Christine is like a day without sunshine.

I went with the Reissues. I just love adding music to my collection. The versions of Silver Springs, Oh Daddy, and finally having a clear copy of the Cleaning Lady Version of Sara made my year.

I didn't chose seeing them live because they cancelled on me 3 times! 2003 was a better year for me with the concerts.

Honorable mentions: LIB and the Destiny Rules Documentary. ;)

I want to know if we will get anymore BN live stuff.

I am sorry Curtis. :( Must have been the show on Stevie's birthday. I know that a lot of people were really crushed about that and I can't say that I blame them. Hopefully 2005 will be a better year for concerts for you. ;)

I would have to say the shows with the Buckingham Nicks Live a close second. I am just blown away by the Paint It Black version of Rhiannon.

If I could, I'd vote for both the re-issues and In the Meantime. I was pretty excitedd about both.

Paint It Black version? I voted for the concerts. My honorable mentions ITM, LIB, DR, and BN leaks.

Thanks Pattie! Yeah...that date became a dud...as with Pittsburgh and another one I blocked out of my memory. I finally saw them in Cleveland and had second row for that one.

2005 will definately be better! I expect to be sitting by you (or very close by) at Liddy's gigs. :D

Live in Boston: I couldn't assist to any SYW concert and it gave me a great emotion to see them live singing those tracks that have suddenly invaded my life :D . My second favourite is Destiny Rules documentary, it's been exciting to see them working on an album I love so much. :)

Mine was a tie between the concerts, because nothing is better than seeing them live and in person, and the documentary, because I'm a sucker for behind the scenes stuff.

for "Other", Which would be the amount of 2003-2004 bootlegs circulating...But concerts are still the one thing that stick out in my mind.

good idea for a poll. I voted for the reissues, but the Live in Boston is also my choice.

I had to go with concerts. Then, reissues. But, finally, finally seeing my fav band together, in the front row, for my 30th b-day. It will never, ever be that good again. :o Until the next time i see them. :D I really thought, after the dance, that i would live my life without seeing them. :distress: Definitely a mega dream come true.

The concerts - nothing like seeing them live!

Then, the reissues. Then DR Doc.

TOO COOL U GOT 2 C THEM 4 YOUR BIRTHDAY!!!~
i have been blessed alot 2 have seen stevie quite often solo but, unfortunately everytime FM was scheduled 2 play here, they cancelled along w/ my tisl show being cancelled after winning front row & backstage passes off of the radio~ i must say the "say you will tour" was the most memorable 2 c  ~ don't get me wrong i would knaw off a limb 2 b front row at stevie solo as well, but having always missed the boat as far as FM r concerned this tour was as you said a dream come true~ & i was happy 2 settle 4 the 1st show i saw during the tour, but thanks 2 hubby & mom, they made sure i saw them 3 times & all 2nd row or better~ i will never 4get it, but it also left me wanting so much more, like everyday i wonder what is stevie, lindsey or FM doin'?~ i'm hoping some1 is recording something 4 us all 2 hear!!! ~

Okay...My vote went to the Fleetwood Mac concerts this year (specifically san Jose ;)). I remember when I bought my first FM album thinking, "Oh no...I'm going to live my life without seeing them perform!" Luckily, I was treated to highlights such as "Sara," "Beautiful Child," "Gold Dust Woman," "I'm So Afraid," "Stand Back," "Say Goodbye" and "Go Your Own Way."

The Rumours reissue came with the heavenly alternate mix of "Oh Daddy," which has quickly become one of my favorite songs ever.

Buckingham Nicks live tracks were a real treat, esp. "Rhiannon" and "Sorcerer."

In The Meantime is a wonderful pop album...

Lastly, anything new from the Kirwan/Welch/McVie songwriting lineup is reason to rejoice.

What can I say, we're in the middle of a Fleetwood Mac renaissance! :)

It'd have to be the reissues of those three classic Mac albums. Followed "closely" by ITM and LIB. Come on Stevie get that solo album out next year!:]

What can I say, we're in the middle of a Fleetwood Mac renaissance!

I like that!
