As it is thundering outside ( isn't it December?) I will complain about this. LACK of cold weather and snow. I have no Christmas spirit. I have to work on Christmas. There isn't enough XF on tv. I can't find a nice free cd burning site. I need to lose 20 pounds. Thank you, thank you very much...go on...let's beat out the Rumours room for most posts:):)

I'm tired of it getting dark at 4:30 in the afternoon. :(
I'm tired of it snowing two inches every two minutes and constantly having to shovel every time I go out.
I hate walking down the slippery steps to my apartment and EVERY time almost slipping on my ass.
I hate the fact that I have 3 more finals to take and I don't even have the motivation to study for them.

I hate the fact that I left my cool little apt. in downtown Seattle to live in this blue-collar, redneck, white trash northern Boston suburb where there is not a f*cking thing to do! (But I love that my roommates have a nice computer w/ a super fast connection that they don't mind me using all the time-without this I would have no life, no Ledge, and no downloads! Sorry to accidentally brighten up this dismal themed thread!)

I hate the fact they are doing the 5-5-5 deal on tv AGAIN. UGH. ALL day, all night, making at least 3 pizzas at a time. It's so easy to fall behind. Anyone thinking of management for Dominos Pizza...DON'T.
I want to complain about censorship in PRIVATE messages at this site. If I can't say f u c k on the ledges, well... okay... but private messages?
Oh, and I also hate going home in the dark, and I think I'm underpaid at my job. Especially in expensive december!

I have had this cold for 2 weeks.
Van Halen, Fleetwood Mac, and Boston all need to tour again in '05.
Along with the tour you betta have an album ready! :]
If I see paris Hilton one more time I am going to be sick. SHE'S NOT EVEN ATTRACTIVE!
I have to go to the mall today to do christmas shopping!

I'm with Janet about the weather...I wanna wear my new coat! I want it to snow!
I proofread and printed (2 copies!) an 84 page transcript that I already turned in last week! THAT was a waste of time and paper! (exhausted dumb blonde)
My husband took a nice LONG nap yesterday while I'm running around like crazy trying to get sh*t done.
My cat woke me up at 6:30 this morning because he smelled the treats/catnip/toys I got him for Christmas.
I have a late job today and my husband is out of town, which means I have to rely on my neighbor to pick up my daughter at school, and she'll probably miss ballet.
I just want to go back to fricken bed.... :distress:

I hate when you get a call from one of your credit card companies at 8:30 am (I'm usually up at this time, but I don't want to talk to CC hounds). But the thing that gets me, this particular credit card my mother pays for me cause even though I'm on my own I still need help. But turns out she canceled it without telling me and they are calling to set up a payment plan.
WTF????? She's done crap like this before

2. Like Mari, I hate going home in the dark. I just hate the short days. I feel like a mole-I go to work and come home in darkness
3. Like Janet, I wish it would turn cold and SNOW!! If it has to be dark it can at least snow! hehe

I still have no Christmas spirit...
This guy who sits on the other side of an island from me is listening to audio LOUDLY - and when there's audio playing - he's whistling or humming - VERY annoying...
The guy in the apartment above me hasn't paid rent in five months- they're finally evicting him - and now he's being a complete jerk - stomping around - loud tv - etc...it's annoying...
There's a weird smell in my kitchen and I can't find the origin - and I"ve bleached the whole room top to bottom...

Working in Retail during the Holidays!! Nuff said right?
Idiots come in..like this lady the other day says "You guys dont carry any Narrow width's anymore...i used to could come here for Narrow shoes..now you dont have anything!" So I show her a narrow shoe and she goes "Well that ones ugly , doesnt help me.." So I show her tons more, and she says "of course all the ugly shoes come in Narrow."
lol
And we have a sign that says HOLIDAY SALE 30-40% Outlet Prices on Select Styles! (SELECT STYLES, DONT FORGET THAT PART!)
Of course when you ring someone up you always get someone who says "that was supposed to be 30-40% off" and i say "no only select styles..the ones with the red signs are the ones on sale.." and she says "WELL THAT SIGN IS DECEIVING!"
I hate some customers..MOST customers in fact

OMG - I don't miss my retail days - people try and get away with everything - they want stuff for free...I know enough now (from workign retail) to always read sale signs thouroughly....to avoid being an ass when I go to check out...
------
Now at my job I had a stupid person incident -
I went to press conference yesterday - arrived right after Channel 13 (tv station) - so the security girl lets them through then I tell her I'm also going to press conference and she says I have to go around the building - go through the metal detectors and stand in this HUGE line to get a pass....I ask why - the tv crew got in okay -
She says, "oh they're with the media...they have their gear...."
Okay, I says, "Yeah -I'm also with the media and i have MY gear..." So I show her my microphone and recorder and such (which is all official and clearly labeled from my station) - she says, "Well that doesn't prove anything you could have taken that from anywhere...."
At this point I"m getting pretty damn pissed off
So I ask her what her definition of media is - and she says I still have to go around...so I do because the press conference was about to start...
I go around and the metal detector guard open my bag, rolls his eyes and says, "follow me" so we go back to that idiot guard and the metal detector guy says, "She's with the press....it's obvious - she's got all the gear...the letter said to let all press in..."
The idiot says, "NO! It's said to let media in...er...I mean to let stations in..."
At this point i just got in her face and started yelling....I lost it...
I was like "What the hell do you think media is? Newspaper, radio and tv - what are you not understanding? Do you see this? It's a MICROPHONE - I don't have a damn TV camera - but I still work for the media..."
Also the other guards were yelling in my behalf to get me in - this one bitch wouldn't budge....finally the nice metal detector guard just got this stupid bit of paper - wrote WXXI on it - and the idiot let me through with that...I was SO mad...
My boss called the county when I got back and complained about the girl :D

I hate having one radio station to listen to that isn't overrated pop or Christmas music.
It's 40 at night and 70 during the day. No wonder I've been sick twice already. I wish this freakin weather would make up its mind. Wishing for snow would be a long shot, but some cold weather would be really nice.
I can't find jeans that fit. One size is too big, the other is too small.
I have a history final Monday and fifteen chapters to read before then.
I have a final essay due in English Friday at noon and I'm comparing Live in Boston to The Dance. I haven't watched either of them in their entirety. And somehow I'm determined to get away with it and actually write something that makes sense, then again the professor has no idea what I'm talking about so I can do that.
I really want to go to the library and check out a dozen books before the holidays but if I did I'd never study. So I'm putting that off until Monday.
My school's on academic probation for a year now because it doesn't live up to the guidelines for academic freedom. I feel like an idiot for ever going there.
Humidity = frizzy hair. Breakouts aren't on my list of favorite things either, but at least I can cover that up.
I have to move furniture this weekend.
Great idea for a thread, btw.

we listened to a AC station last night while eating out, That has decided to play Christmas music non-stop...But the music they played was GREAT!!!! Alot of classic rock Christmas songs which was a change.
Another complaint I have is why in the Wide, Wide World of Sports does a great band like Queen release 4 two-disc DVD sets in about a years time (Greatest Video Hits 1 & 2, Live At Wembley & the just released On Fire-Live at The Bowl Milton Keynes 1982...That's 41 music videos and 2 complete concerts, With another concert set & Greatest Video Hits 3 on the way) and yet all we get from the Mac is the Live In Boston set???

Great idea...lol..it's worse when their feet are too damn big for the shoes and they squeeze those huge things in there anyway....i dont get it...why do ppl want to be a smaller shoe size? I can understand not wanting to go up in a pant size..but a shoe size...who cares? You would be surprised at the ladies who come in and say "i wear a six" have these HUGE nasty feet..and im thinking NO YOU DONT..but they will try one on anyway

I find a cool site with stevie videos and I can't find a way to view them.Same here! Might be the same site. I was all psyched and then I couldn't get the videos to play on my PC.
Then I thought I might get an A in my French class, but I had to do a group project, and this chick I had to work with f*cked up the one thing she had to do. I did almost the entire freaking project, but she did her part at the very last minute, and I would have proofread it, had she given it to me to look at. There is no "a le" in French!!! That's grammatically incorrect! We got points off the stupid project because she was irresponsible, and probably drunk and/or high. If I get a B, it's her fault.
I feel fat lately. I fit into my clothes just like I always have, but I feel fat. It's an obnoxious state of mind.

Spilling coffee on myself, WTF???
The woman next to me who listens to these stupid tutorials out loud (I gave her a set of headphones to silence her)
My car will not pass emissions inspection and it is a TOYOTA, ugh
I just had my car painted but already have no less than 8 dings in my bumpers (was expected but still...)
Christmas, what an f-ing commercialized pain in my rear!
"Feeling fat", I totally identify with that Hill!
Get up, go to work, go to gym, have dinner, rinse repeat, ugh!!!
My roommate is "naturally thin", eats cookies/brownies/ice cream every night and it never shows.
Not having enough time for the hobbies and friends I want to spend time with.
The Java book I have been testing. What am I doing testing Java? How did it come to this?
Not having enough money to take all the fabulous vacations I dream about taking.
And my list is meek compared to some of your complaints. I hope you all find some peace of mind and comfort and joy this holiday season!
Thanks for starting this thread, I feel better. Hehe.

My particular theoretical case is about a prospective juror who wants to know what her rights would be as far as answering (not answering) really, really, personal questions. I'm very behind on this. Whenever I had papers due, I ALWAYS waited until the day before it was due to write it. I would have all my sources and stuff ready, along with everything I was going to use, but I never actually wrote it until the last minute. It worked for me because I found that if I was in a crunch, I'd take extra special care in writing it and perfecting it, even if it took me 18 hours.

Well, my snack was an apple and yogurt which I guess is technically a lot of sugar. But it is very little fat (I think none) and not too high in calories. A good afternoon snack might be the thing to help me chill on night time eating. I used to just have the yogurt. We shall see.
And yes, I do way more than my fair share of worrying about this f-ing nonsense. Amber and DD, me too on the legs thing :wavey: , but also the bootay! Hehe. However, since I've been watching it a little better and going to the gym more the BF said my legs look more toned. Getting there!

When I was a freshman, I had to write a paper for my sociology class and that was an all-nighter I'll never forget. I wrote it and then accidentally deleted all of it. Unlike the Microsoft Word that I have now, the one I had then didn't have timed backups, so I lost everything. Had to write it all over again and I just despised sociology. So boring and monotonous. I felt like an elephant had been taken off my shoulders the day I got to sell the book back at the end of the semester. The day I got rid of that book was one of the happiest days of my life.

Omigod, this happened to me in Psych, for Abnormal Psych. I got an Incomplete for the class and had until the end of next semester to redo it. AND, of course I waited until the next semester to do it! At least it was interesting. I was using Word Star, I still don't know where that paper disappeared to, I was so clueless about computers back then. But I got an A on the paper and in the class, yay!
Okay, I'm seriously out now, peace all

I am the absolute Queen of Procrastination. I wait to the last minute for EVERYTHING and quite honestly, I do my best work when i'm totally stressed out and going crazy (if that makes any since at all). Deleting an entire paper? I did that once and i'll never forget it. I ended up calling out the next day because I literally freaked out. Ahh...you'd think we'd learn. Nope.

I got an incomplete for math. I am horrid at all math, so I took Topics In Math because I was told by my counselor that it was the easiest. My ass, it was. I couldn't even grasp the concept of Fibonacci numbers, let alone the Pythagoream Theorem. And the book was crazy. It read like something a stand-up comic wrote. You'd be reading about how to find the missing number in a UPC code and out of nowhere they'd throw a joke at you about dropping your pants. I think it was called "The Heart of Mathematics."

I'm taking a political science class now in my spare time and I had two papers due on Saturday. I didn't finish them until Saturday morning. The things I DETEST doing are bibliographies. Good christ.
I totally feel you. The problem here, is that researching the law can be like a neverending maze/quagmire. You could really never be done. And i'm not that good at it yet...So, i'm not worried about the paper at all - it's very structured, 5 paragraphs, with 3 points, you know, the usual...I'll whip it out. It's getting the material for the paper, and MOST OF ALL, an oral presentation, and not the good kind, my friend! Also, it costs six bucks for me to go to the library, and i wanted to get a good 3 hours in tonight, but now i'm debating whether to use my $1 for food, and hit the library tomorrow night after i get paid, or to add the $1 to my Bart ticket and go to the stupid library tonight. It's very complex.
Congrats on taking an actual fun class, and on finishing your papers. I'm sure they're great. Yeah, bibliographies bite, i'm glad i don't have that, at least. Although, it means you probably got to read actual interesting books...

Eh, one of them was good, I got to do it on Iraq and the UN (and he only wanted us to present one side of an argument, so I naturally excelled  ), but the other one was pretty bland; it was on the Federalist Farmer's letters in the Anti-Federalist papers. Why it was assigned, I'll never know because it's beginners stuff from US Government, a class I took years ago.
The thing that I hated about the bibliography this time is that I already knew everything I was going to say and every quote I was going to use, but I had to go and find the sources and different editions of books and such. What a pain in the ass.
Good luck on yours, I'm sure you'll do fine. :xoxo: :wavey:

I was horrible in school - and I maintain that I could have gotten perfect grades had I actually applied myself and not procrastinated so much but oh well..I graduated haha...
I'm still bad - I go on the air at 4pm - so I like to be done with stories at like 3 so I can write newscasts and get ready for my shift - but I always wait til the last minute to start writing my stories lol....example...today I got out of a Hilary Clinton press conference at 2pm - got back to work, knew I had til 3 to get it done- but rather than getting right to work - I checked my e-mail, the Ledge and then ate a late lunch lol - I finally got freaked out and got it done by 3 - I work very well under pressure :D

* I'm 20 pounds overweight
* I have NO Christmas spirit this year. Bah Humbug!!!
* Most of my friends have moved away over the past few years. New friends just don't seem the same as the ones you grew up with.
* Traffic everywhere sucks! Get OUT of the fast lane! (sorry Diss)
* Customer service anywhere pretty much sucks. Getting service now is the exception rather than the rule.
* Even though I make a good living, I get ZERO respect at work. I like my job, but there's an idiotic battle of egos at play, for no reason, other than delusions of grandeur. I say regularly, "just give me my paycheck, and get my ass the f*ck out of here!"

oh. sorry to hear about your accident. You know if you are in another crash, that a bigger car would be safer, right? But i would feel the same way. I learned stick on my dad's 64 Buick Special, (3 speeds on the floor) and it does feel like driving a weird big swaying boat...

It's hard to be excited about it because I HATE driving with a passion.
Anyway, I know other people have real problems, but I have to complain about this. Some of y'all know that I've had a crush on this girl in my history class all semester. (Remember, Amber, you said she sounds like she looks like one of your good friends, with the curly reddish hair and the big brown eyes). She was gorgeous. And I could barely speak when I was around her. But she was very nice to me. Until about three weeks ago. She quit talking to me, and for once in my life, I assumed it had absolutely nothing to do with me. I figured she was going through some bad times--she had told me that there had been a death in her family. But she just left the final without even looking at me. And she hasn't looked at me or said one word to me for the past three weeks. A friend of mine told me after the final that she had told the girl I had a crush on her. I was devastated! Absolutely devastated! Sobbing and everything. It must have made the girl uncomfortable. I couldn't believe my friend told her that--she was the one person in the class I told, and I made it clear that it was a secret and I didn't want her to tell anyone! I asked her why she did it and she said, "I was curious to see what she was going to say." I felt like I was in high school, all that crap with people telling other people that other people "like" them. The chick needs to grow up. If Rebekah (that's her name) was going to know, I wanted to be the one to tell her. I wanted to be in control of the situation. I just wanted to walk away from it thinking she was flattered. Instead, it ended on a bad note. She won't even look at me!
This is what I ask of all of you. If you're straight and a gay person had the guts to tell you that he or she has a genuine crush on you and just wanted to let you know, please just be appreciative of that person's feelings. Tell him or her that you're flattered and appreciate his or sincerity and bravery even if you can't return those feelings. Make them feel like there was actually some little something to be gained from the embarrassment of such a confession. It could mean so much to someone to know that it wasn't completely in vain, to think that maybe confessing to having a crush on you might have made you feel better about yourself or something along those lines.
Okay, I just had to get that out. Thanks in advance to all who read it.

I think any crush is flattering and I'm the kind of person that would go out with either sex for a nice night. Doesn't mean anything will happen in the bedroom, but at least you'll get some company and get to know another person.

Omigosh, that's a terrible story. I'm so sorry. I can't believe that girl told. If i was straight and had a crush on someone, i still wouldn't want her to tell!
But also, I think that since your "friend" told the girl, and not you, she probably doesn't really know how to have a dialogue with you about it - if you had told her, there would at least be a line of communication open right then. But your "friend" really botched this one. which is lame and unfortunate. I hope you kicked that girl's a**, even though i know you probably didn't. :o I hope you're doing ok. :xoxo:

Yes that annoys me as well..or people who go just slow enough when you are like trying to turn left so that you have to sit there,..and if they would just speed up a LITTLE.. the traffic on the other side of the road would be cleared at the same time as that side....you could go, sometimes i think they do it on purpose...you know?

Legally, I believe, in most states, that you're breaking the law by impeding the left(passing) lane flow. And, the friend, while not really a friend anymore, would only bump them when they would block the lane. See, therein lies the problem- Slowpokes get in the left lane, and drive the same speed as traffic in the right lane, thus screwing everybody who wants to pass.
And another thing...I LOVE IT , and it happens all the time, people pass me, because they are in SUCH a hurry, and it never fails that I like end up sitting behind them at a red light.....I really do not think it's that people are in a hurry, it just really bothers them to go slow...so ppl will speed, even if they wont get there any faster..kind of funny
Chris
And if they'd only gotten around you 10 seconds earlier, they would've MADE that light!

It's not a very clear law....there are signs that say SLOWER TRAFFIC KEEP RIGHT...but as long as you are actually going the speed limit I don't think they can do anything do you...after all then you would be illegally speeding for going over the maximum speed...
But like I said, I don't drive in the fast lane unless I'm going fast (which I do sometimes in nice conditions), or unless I'm passing someone...the biggest problem in the roads for me (and it's not because i hit one a month ago either! lol) is the damn tractor trailor trucks..EVERYWHERE..cant get over..cant do anything without those bastards all up on you..trying to cut you off, get over in your lane while you are there...ughh

There's also some law about going with the flow of traffic, too. If everyone's going 65-70, they don't want you doing 50. Talk about dangerous. I think people who won't, or can't, do the posted limit, should stay off the interstates. The interstates are already at capacity, and adding a cork only makes it worse.

:xoxo:Thanks Amber. :xoxo: I was really mad at her, but I didn't kick her a**. She kept begging me not to be mad, and so I told her I wasn't. We were talking today, and she was acting like nothing had happened, so I did the same. I figured there was nothing to gain by acting pissed off, especially since I probably won't see her at all next semester. That is probably for the best. Still, I often wish that I wasn't a generally nice person, just for these kinds of purposes.

Yeah - I wouldn't call that chick a friend - she sounds really immature - and what she did was un called for - and totally disrespectful of you...
I, of course, am flattered when anyone has a crush on me..male or female..BUT then again I've dated both males and females lol...so yeah - I wouldn't care....but sadly a lot of people do...
I always hear the old, "I don't care about gay people - unless they hit on me...." or something to that effect - so stupid...but that's the attitude of a lot of people...

I AM STUCK IN THE MF'ING AIRPORT BECAUSE MY MF'ING PLANE IS TWO HOURS LATE
Delta is blaming it on the weather, but I know they closed one of the runways her earlier because a, I believe, DELTA cargo plane blew a tire on the runway AND the incoming flight had mechanical problems in San Diego. So, weather MY MF'ING ASSS  The Delta rep. really did not like it when I very politelty pointed out that the weather, although mildly bad for the last five hours and bad realier than that, had nothing to do with it and I, and others on this flight, would appreciate it is she would stop saying that  This is SO typical of Delta - they never want to have any responsibility.
But, as an example of lemon to lemonade, I signed up for T-Mobile's wi-fi in the airport and elsewhere for about $15.00 a month and got 5,000 free Skymiles, which I needed and which would take at least a thousand $$$$$ worth of tickets to get. AND - I have wi-fi access wherever T-Mobile is - like Starbucks and the airport. If I am lucky, I can access it from my house which is about three blocks from a Starbucks!!!!!! Thus, eliminating my need for my other internet service provider. So, bad into good

Well you dont have to go the flow of traffic if the flow of traffic is speeding though...I'm talking about doing 65-70 (speed limit here on most interstates is 70) and everyone else doing like 80-85 and getting mad cuz you are doing 70...thats what happens to me
The minimum speed you are allowed to go on GA interstates is 40 mph...Below that is ticket worthy, unless of course the interstate is jammed....but i would never do 40, i just like to go the speed limit...and many ppl have a prob with that

I have a bit of a lead foot - but consider myself a good driver - I LOVE driving and I really know my car and what it can and can't do - I enjoy smaller cars because they're easier to zip around in....
Anyway - I have no problem with people who go the SPEED LIMIT on interstates etc - I will either just back off and also slow to the speed limit - or pass them - by the way - I never go more than 10mph over the speed limit...
What, to me, is unacceptable...is people who go 5-10 (or more) miles UNDER the speed limit - it pisses me off.....both on and off highways....the worst is a 35 mph zone....35 is not fast - and yet people can't seem to differentiate between the brake and accelorater...annoying....
So my thing is - if I don't want to go fast - then I don't take the interstate - perhaps some people live in places in which that's not possible? I make it a point to find ways to places I need to go both on and off highways/interstates - so yeah - I have some road rage issues I'm trying to work on though - luckily I'm not so bad that I ram people and stuff...but I get pretty steamed

I couldn't even grasp the concept of Fibonacci numbers, let alone the Pythagoream Theorem. And the book was crazy. It read like something a stand-up comic wrote. I also learned on a stick, Amber, and currently drive one too. I've got a little Toyota Paseo which was wonderfully problem free until recently. It is in the shop today due to failed emissions :(
I had to drive in SF once and it was very scary, the winding interstate and those lane drops you were talking about would catch me off guard, ugh! The good thing about the city though is the street signs are actually BIG ENOUGH TO READ. Which is only logical. You can't see them in MA until you're on top of them.

You're quite welcome. I used to do that too, pretend nothing was wrong and still do sometimes. It's just easier and you've got to pick your battles. Sounds like she'll just slip out of your life anyway, even if you don't say anything. Obviously she is not a person to confide in, ugh.
Sometimes though, it feels really good to let someone know they've behaved badly. I was dating a ski instructor and I saw him at the mountain and he ignored me. Then I talked to him a bit and he said he'd be somewhere that afternoon and he wasn't. So I called him and told him he acted like a jerk and he shouldn't treat people like that. He stammered and tried to make an excuse and I just said, "No, it was mean, you were mean, goodbye." It felt really good to call him out! Hehe. But I also never had to see him again so it's a little different.

 well, i didn't use the word "Fugly", but....I said something like that. Also, i had a disdainful look on my face... :p and believe me, i don't have one of those "hide my emotions" faces..

I agree. I was at the car place, and i was like "please show me the red cars"
 they only had two - Saturn + Toyota. The Saturn had a remote control for the stereo/cd player, so i had to get it  Just kidding, it had lower mileage... :p
Oooh...A remote-control stereo/CD player. :woohoo:
Hee...I remember a long time ago, when my dad was looking to get a new car seven years ago...He test drove a Saturn...And his knees were literally up to his chin. He's a tall guy, nearly 6'5", and he can't be in a Saturn without feeling some heavy back pain...

LOL - I so almost started another one of these this morning - glad you bumped this one up...
Whistling/humming guy was off last Thurs/Fri - and I got used to the quiet - bad idea.
He was here this morning, whistling while CLIPPING HIS NAILS!!!! loudly I might add - I kept hearing this weird click - then I went to look - clipping his nails....while whistling...then he proceeded to edit more loud audio...I'm at the end of my rope here....seriously...
----
AND - I have tried three times to get my damn car registered in this state.....
First time - They gave me a list of things I needed but didn't have....fine.
Second time - I came in with the things they said I needed and then they said - oh wait - you have to have New York insurance - so I happily said I did - and showed them my insurance card...well - there's this NY law that says you can't register you car if you've had the insurance more than 45 days....SO I had to call the insurance guys and get another card/permission to register....great.
Third time...I go with new registration and all the other materials tht the info desk said I needed....I waited half an hour and went to the window - and they said I needed on more form faxed from New Mexico - when I'd asked about that form at the info desk the lady insisted I didn't need it....so by this Time I was SOOOO mad...
So they called for the form I needed - and stupid New Mexico faxes the wrong form.....
So now I have to go back tomorrow and I'm totally dreading it....I was on the verge of tears/a nervous breakdown this morning....I was ready to just say F*** it and head right back to New Mexico.....
So annoying...there went whatever speck of Christmas Spirit I had....

Okay, one sentence to go before i am done with my big paper (after wading through massive amounts of law and statutes for the past five days) but THEN I have to go back to the law library (six bucks) and check all my citations, shepherdize, find the year, use only the official publications, etc. THEN i have to come back, edit my paper for passive sentence structure, and write up notes for a 10 minute oral presentation (with questions from the audience) and leave for class by 5:15 (six bucks again). Not to mention the 40 or so bucks I spent printing and copying cases and statutes and digest pages, plus Bart fare to and from the library 5 times.
I think, after this nightmare, i will never have another complaint... (not likely :p ).

Why do you have to pay for the law library? And six bucks, geez Louise.

Clipping his nails? That is so gross, what a tool.
I hate dealing with registry people, ugh! That is insane. And why is 45 days too long? All of these frigging randome rules. Just get the damn thing through people!

No one could explain the law to me - which is not surprising - I know they didn't write the law - I just wanted a logical reason as to why I can't register my car without a letter from the insurance company - but I got the letter - I'm going back tomorrow -and will hopefully not have a nervous breakdown because of it....seriously - I hope it goes smoothly and I can be done with the NYS DMV for a couple of years at least :)

I have to pay to take BART there. It's about 2.90 each way. While i'm there i don't have to pay, unless i want copies or to print pages, which of course i have to do.

And BART is a train? That's pretty expensive. The T is $1.25 one way here.

yeah, it's like the subway that can take you under the bay bridge to get into san francisco. it has a really long line. Here, it's 1.25 to go a stop or two, but when you have to go to the city it's way more. :distress:

I'm a TA (grader, basically) for a 300-person lecture class in communication. It's actually fun....the prof is great, and there are three other TAs for the class as well. :)

I'll be doing something similar to what you're doing one of these days--grading history tests for a huge survey class or something to that effect, I imagine. I'm glad to hear that you like it and have a good time. :)
