Anyone remember this flick? With Helen & Christian Slater? Awful 80's movie, but I LOVE it! It was on the other night & my brother happened to be in town so we watched it. Ahhh, the memories! Very freaky that we remembered every part of the movie & most of the lines too. And that bad-ass soundtrack - woot.

Sooooooooo bad.......it's good!

Where is the DVD? I'm dying for it.

Yeardley Smith cracked me up in that flick.

"How do you know it was Hubie Pyatt?"
"'Cause he's a f*cker, that's how I know."

"When you rich, food ain't supposed to taste like what it really is."

And that Benatar song is so bad.

I loooove this movie! I've seen it about a billion times. It's one of those cheesy 80's movies I associate with my childhood. And, yes, that Pat Benatar song kicks ass.

Don't think I haven't looked for it - it's not on DVD. The OOP VHS goes for over $40 on Ebay on occasion, but you can get it on Amazon for about $20

Putter Jack rocks!

I remember this movie, it is one of those wonderfully cheesy 80's movies, I did like it at the time, but it's been forever since I have seen it...

And the Pat Benatar Song is good, I saw her do it live last year, great live, plus she introed it as "a great song that ended up in one of the worst films of all time..." of course she was smiling after all she would've had to agree to providing the song;)

I love Christian Slater.
I remember there was this article not too long ago (but of course I forget from where), about why certain stars from about 10 years ago or so, never really made it to that "super" star level.
Christian Slater was one of them as was Andy Garcia. With Christian the writer was saying that the public has still, to this day, subconsciously will always view Christian as an adolescent, hence his never fully attaining "leading man" status.
At any rate I still think he's one of the most beautiful men that walks the face of the planet and hope his "health" (drug) issus have been resolved.
I swear, I watched the movie Untamed Heart with this extremely "macho" man who was reduced to tears at the end.

Madness. I have to agree with Diss on this one...that song BLOWS. As does Ms. Chipmunk face...

Can't say I've ever seen the movie though. Yeardley Smith? Isn't she/he (no idea) one of the voices on the Simpsons?
