First - what difference does that make?
Second - perhaps my absentee ballot made a difference afterall...
Third - what is your source on that? All New Mexico news sources I've checked have Bush up...

The Secretary Of State now has Bush in the lead by 2510 votes. They're still counting them.

But the precincts are reporting to the AP before the SOS. And the number of total voters goes down every other hour. What ****.

Okay - again - where are you getting this info?
I'd just like to know - I've been to the Secretary of State's website twice today with absolutely no change in the results....I just wanna know....afterall I voted there...

Keep looking at that site. I went there three times last night and each time, thousands of voters were subtracted from the total, then added, then subtracted, and so on. There's something up with it.

Well - that's the same site I've been looking at - but it's remained steady (though by a narrow margin). But hey Gore took NM by only 366 votes in 2000...
But again - what difference does it make now anyway? I'm seriously asking this cause I don't know...

It means Bush didn't pick up any states from the Dems/2000. Small consolation.

Oh - I see....well - it should be interesting..there are only three bigger --ish cities in NM - on Santa Fe is overwhelmingly liberal - New Mexico is pretty conservative over-all...
There's a misnomer that Hispanics always vote democrat - no necessarily so. Hispanics in the border region hold family values, religion and all that close to them - and identify more with the conservatives...BUT are pretty much cast aside by both parties so whatever...haha...
New Mexico is sort of stupid..and it's motto is "let's make sure NOTHING runs efficiently..."

Ah - okay - I see the numbers changing now - however, they seem to be growing on the Bush side...

Speaking of New Mexico (regardless of whether it went red or blue), I find it amazing that such a State that is only two hours away from Amarillo is split. That's awesome!
It's one of the few hopes that Democrats have in this area. Whoever runs in 2008 needs to make sure to campaign there.
