These people must have never seen Melrose Place, 90210, or Knots Landing.

ABC hit 'Housewives' losing sponsors

NEW YORK (CNN/Money) - Walt Disney Co.'s best shot at reviving its sickly ABC network may have plenty of skin and sin, but "Desperate Housewives" also has fewer original advertisers than it did just a few weeks ago.

'Desperate Housewives' toast their misery in a scene from ABC's surprise hit. Tyson Foods, Lowe's Cos., and Kellogg have all aired spots on the weekly prime time soap that debuted late last month. And none plan to air any more.

"The show is nothing but sex, sex, sex," said Sharp. "We're really looking hard at it." (   )

The good news is it will be eventually commercial free. :]

....Seriously, I don't see this hurting the show at all. I'm sure they have plenty of sponsors wanting to air spots during that hour.

Wait, I didn't see any sex! I'm outraged! Sesly, there is barely anything sexual shown! mainly that chick making out with her underage gardner.

Or the FX show, Rescue Me...they'd be killin' over. LOL I know that is cable, but still. It borders on soft core at times.

This is ridiculous....I haven't seen anything out of the ordinary on this show.

What about Nip/Tuck? I've counted as many as four ass shots in one episode ( ), not to mention the constant use of the words "p*ssy," "d*ck," "sh*t," "assh*le," "dyke," "balls," "come," etc. And the incredibly graphic surgery scenes.

But, you wanna know why those shows aren't being protested over? Rupert Murdoch airs them on FX, which he owns and is part of his Fox company. ;)

I've never watched Nip/Tuck. I do watch Rescue Me and they say a--hole, sh*t, t*ts, etc. Does Nip/Tuck do the humour thing like Rescue Me or is it straight drama?

Straight drama. But incredibly addictive. ;)

That show is so tame compared to everything else on tv. Very tame. So sad that they think THAT is bad.

what the big deal is, This show isnt as bad as 99.99999999% of the rest of the crap on the big suckass 3 networks (At least the "Another Bad Comedy" network has 2 decent shows when ya include "Lost" in the mix).
