So I'm lilstening to Air America Radio--minding my own business, when Randy plays a "Get out and Vote" message from Lindsey Buckingham. They come back and Randi mentions how big a Buckingham Nicks fan she was and how they made this fantastic album pre-FM and how Frozen Love was her favorite song. She said that she got a record store owner to track down a copy of it and that she used to drive around listening to the song she loved it so much!

I just sent her a Mp3 file of the song via e-mail in case she needed a digital copy! I'm always willing to enable any fellow BN fan!

I always miss the good stuff. :laugh: She must have just mentioned it when I shut the radio off to go to the store, dammit.

I have much love for Miss Randi. Love her to death.

And maybe she'll mention you tomorrow for sending it to her. ;) I should go to her site and tell Tim to play that "Get Out and Vote" clip again tomorrow.

That's what I thought when I first read the message, but I thought 'oh that must have been before he died.' Who is she a radio personality on the East coast or something?

her show plays on AIR AMERICA which is a talk radio station, on over 35 AM stations across the country...it's also on XM Satellite Radio - ch. 167 and
Sirius Satellite Radio - ch. 144

http://www.airamericaradio.com will tell you if she's on in your area. Or you can listen online. :angel:

AAR has gotten phenomenal in the past couple of months and Randi is the best show on there. Mike Malloy and The Majority Report are fantastic, too.

I listen to AAR from the time I get up in the morning until my workday is done! And sometimes at night (love Mike Malloy).

Bette Midler was on Anderson Cooper a few weeks back and she took some good pot shots at Rush Limpballs and conservative radio. She said she didn't know what Limpballs was, but he certainly wasn't American. :laugh:
