Watch this video and see the difference in the way Bush speaks. Bush the debater then, and Bush the debater now (http://www.adbuzz.com/bushbuzz/BrainTenYrs*.mov )

This doctor's comments tie in with the video. Man, what both have to say is scary. Did Bush have a stroke: (http://www.salon.com/politics/war_room/#stroke )

After watching the third presidential debate Wednesday night, Dr. W. Kendall Tongier, M.D. of Dallas, Texas posted on the Dallas Morning News Web site about his concerns that the President may have had a stroke. The anesthesiologist, who has been in practice for 15 years, wrote: "Having watched the first two debates from start to finish, I was looking forward to listening to a spirited debate between Bush and Kerry. Unfortunately, I barely heard a word that was said. Instead, I found myself staring at and concentrating on the President's drooping mouth.

"As a physician and a professor, I tend to pick up on signs and symptoms of physical problems better than most other people. I am highly concerned with what I saw. The drooping left side of the President's face, his mouth and nasolabial fold (the crease in the face running from the nostril to the side of mouth) may be indicative of a recent stroke, TIA (transient ischemic attack)) or, possibly botox injections. I sincerely hope this was nothing more than botox injections. The other options are truly scary given an upcoming election for President in three weeks." In a phone interview, Dr. Tongier stressed that he's not a neurologist, and no doctor can make a diagnosis from a 90-minute debate. But he did explain why he found Bush's face so distracting Wednesday night: "It struck me across the face to the point where I wasn't really listening to the debate. It looked like the left side of his mouth was downturned. You know how he sneers at times. At first I thought that's what it was, but it didn't change when his face was at rest. It changed when he talked, but you'd expect that. It's the loss of muscle tone there that's really kind of concerning. And it was pretty much persistent throughout the entire debate."

Dr. Tongier isn't the only one wondering if the President's had a stroke. And the fact that President Bush skipped his annual check-up this year, right before the election is only fanning the speculation.

Finally, this clip: A thank you to the Iraqi Survey Group (http://www.dailykos.com/images/admin/President_Bush_Thanks_ISG.mpg )

Wow. That's the stupidest thing I've heard in the campaign thus far. They're pulling out all the stops now in the home stretch!

I know, and most of it is coming from Camp Dumbya. He can't run on his record, after all.

This is no worse than Lynnesbian Cheney remarking about Kerry's "tan" right before the debates, or the Repub rumors earlier in the summer about Kerry having Botox. Not to mention the mild hubub a few weeks ago where the Repugs were asking people if Kerry should be pres because he is a cancer survivor, especially given that the VP has a machine implanted in his chest. ;)

Besides, I've seen several reports already about Bush being on antidepressants - so a stroke may not be the only brain issue we're dealing with here (other than the fact that his doesn't seem to work half the time to begin with). And what's this about Bush skipping his yearly physical? I think he should not only have to be certified healthy beforehand, he (and all political officials) should submit to and pass a certified, public DRUG TEST!

Why should "normal" people have to pass a drug test to sit in an office all day, but the President & Congress & Supreme Court be exempt?

DRUG TEST THE PRESIDENT!!! :wavey:

If you want to read something that will really scare the hell out of you--read the NY Times Magazine piece on Bush today. He truly believes he's on a mission from God and refuses to listen to anyone who tries to tell him any different from what he wants to hear.

Wow. That's the stupidest thing I've heard in the campaign thus far.

Why is it stupid? Can you honestly say there's nothing wrong with the man? The illnesses of other presidents have been well hidden. At this point, I think anything is possible with him. I also see a huge meltdown, falling off his bicycle and choking on more pretzels once the yes men that surround him actually have to tell him they f*cked up and he's not president anymore. The military was under orders during Nixon's final days not to let him try to launch any nuclear attacks.

I could have sworn he was slurring in one of the debates AND trust me I know drunk and he looked it. Of course I cannot prove it - but it looked that way to me.

Again, anyone who thinks that W wants ANYTHING but a fundamentalist Christian theocracy - you are deluded.

Let me ask this question--if a Democratic candidate had exhibited the personality swings that Bush displayed in the debates:

Debate #1: W the Dumb
Debate #2: W the Angry
Debate #3: W the Giggler

What would the media be reporting right now? All it took was one scream out of Howard Dean and his campaign was finished-over. All the cable newsers spun 24/7 that Dean was "unstable'.

So what the **** does that make W?

Jesus-his rapid eye blinking alone is enough to creep the hell out of me--y'all do know that's a great sign that someone is lying their ass off, don't you? I mean, do people not look at this man and wonder what his problem is exactly? But of course, nary a word is heard from our "liberal" media about Bush's mental/mood swings.

Even Bob Woodward reported in one of his highly flattering books about W that he took a daily medication but no one seemed to know what that medication was for and no one would say.

Also, did y'all know that he's cancelled his annual physical until AFTER the election this year??????
