Hi all,
on walmart.com there are the snippets of Chris Isaak Christmas album:

Chris and Stevie sound great together on Santa Claus Is Coming To Town  , even if we can't hear much, for most of the 30 seconds there's the guitar solo. But it really seems a beautiful duet!

And Chris does also a very nice version of Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas. Very Bing Crosby-ish . I like it.

The only thing i keep thinking about with Chris's Xmas album, with Stevie on it, is that I HATE those kind of Xmas songs. I only like classical kinds. And Xmas music was my first favorite kind of music. I used to sit in the front seat on the bus coming home from kindergarten, singing Xmas songs. But never the crappy ones. In case you don't know the diff, good ones are: Oh Come, All Ye Faithful, God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen, Little Drummer Boy (my fav. as a youngin', cause you know, he didn't have money or riches, but he played the drum for the baby jesus) Joy to the World, Deck the Halls, We Three Kings, Good King Wenceslas, Angels We Have Heard On High (Gloria), Oh Holy Night...I hate Santa Claus Is Comin, I don't like White Christmas...bleah! okay, i've gotten my christmas music rant out, but it is actually a very important thing to me...

I LOVED The clip. I think these are Stevie's best recent harmonies. This restored my faith in her as an amazing harmony singer.

I LOVE Chris I. and they do sound good together.

I'm on this little Chris Isaak jag right now. Just went out and bought 4 of his albums, and I'm totally addicted to "Walk Slow" off "Speak of the Devil".

Guess I'll be getting the Christmas album, too!

Has anyone been able to find the cd anywhere? I thought it came out today but went to a local record store where they said it had come in but they wouldn't be putting it out until they put the holiday stuff out in a week or two...then I visited a "chain" store and they didn't have it either...frustrating!

But thanks for the walmart link ! :)

No problem!

For me, it was worth buying just to hear Stevie sing..."the big fat man is coming" But seriously, she sounds great

I love "the big fat man is coming" part as well..lol

But yeah her voice is so smooth on this track...so delicate..she really sounds great on it...no harshness in her voice at all in this recording

See, I don't like the religious ones, so I might actually enjoy this CD.
