I've heard there are 7 new scenes and lots of extras... Are they any good?

I only have enough money to get one, and I really want the "Eternal Sunshine" DVD because it wasn't shown in my crappy local theater.

Politics? Entertainment? :D

I pre-ordered mine from Amazon and it shipped Monday, so I should get it by Friday. I picked it up in the store yesterday and there are LOTS of extras; I'm surprised it wasn't a two-disc package. The F9/11 Companion book is also out, too.

I received the dvd yesterday as an early birthday present. My boyfriend and I watched it last night -- our first time seeing the movie. I still can't really put into words how I feel about it. I just know that I hadn't cried that hard in a LONG time.

Now to figure out a way to get my Bush-supporting parents to watch it . . . Any ideas? ;)

skipped it, Didn't need to see something that I doubt I would find interesting (If MM did not produce it, I would may be more swayed into seeing it)...Hope y'all enjoy it though.

I bought the dvd but haven't had time to open it. I loved it when I went to see it in the movie theaters. Maybe if I have time today before work I'll play around with it.

I watched it last night with my Mom. I'd seen it in the theater when it was first released but this was my Mom's first time watching it. We both cried during parts of it and we both were very angry after viewing it. Everyone NEEDS to see this film, regardless of their political identity.

The news scenes are excellent. So is the Confidential segment. If you're short of funds rent it and check it out. It's well worth it.

My favorites were the pre-war Iraq and outside Abu Ghairib segments. They were superb.

Check out the F9/11 Reader that came out on Tuesday, too. It's good. I saw his other new book at BJ's yesterday next to Coultergeist's new piece of **** "How To Talk to A Liberal (If You Must)." I took copies of his book and covered her piece of crap with them. And I covered up "Unfit For Command" with "Unfit Commander," the book on Bush.

AND - I bought the first season of Mork and Mindy on DVD. :blob1:

Diss--I swear great minds think alike! I did the same thing yesterday in my book store--I took the "Unfit for Command" and put the "I Hate George Bush" Reader on top. Then I took Kitty Kelly's book on the Bush Family and put that on top of O'Reilly's latest. Hee-hee. And for some reason, whenever I'm in Target, the Al Franken and Michael Moore books somehow end up on top of the Hannity & O'Reilly books. I don't know exactly how that happens. :)

Well - I got some HOllywood Video coupons in the mail yesterday ($0.99 for a movie rental) so I decided that was on omen...today I rented F-9/11.

Right now I'm at a loss for words...I wish that more people would see this film before the election.....however I know that there are people who refuse, and even if they saw it would shrug it all off as lies....but damn....I thought it was a pretty powerful little flick....the lady who lost the son totally got me...reading the letter...the Iraq scenes...it was hard to watch but I'm glad I finally got around to it...

Still..don't know that that's a movie I'd want to add to my collection...

:xoxo: I was going to bring Kitty Kelley's book to the forefront, but it was sold out. The woman at the checkout told me that they've been going through that particular book like it was water, all I could think was hooray.

And ahve you heard what Sinclair Broadcasting is doing (the same company that censored Nighline)?!?! They're airing an anti-Kerry documentary during primetime.

Yeah, Lila Lipscomb was the heart of the movie for me. You cannot watch her and not feel her pain, otherwise you'd be inhuman. The scene where she went to DC was especially affecting...and when she read that letter, my word.

I would buy it for posterity. But that's just me.

Her trip to DC pissed me off - that dumb insensetive bitch who was like, "It's all staged..." ug....I wanted to kick her....stupid lady...

The letter really got me...the part about him coming home to his first nephew or niece (shoot - I don't even remember which) but that got me....I'm super close to my nephew and just started bawling at him not making home to experience that.....

Errrggg....I'm getting all tense thinking about it again - like I can feel my blood pressure rising....hahah
