GOOD LUCK ALEX!!!!!!!! Fotunately, it looks like it will be way north of you, but still, that totally sucks for Florida. My friend in Orlando just had his house fixed from the first one. He said Pensacola, where he originally is from, is in shambles and much of the western coast of Florida above Nalpes is as well. Sheebus!

Thanks! Yeah, the situation does look a little bit better for us. But the truth is that no matter what we will probably get tropical storm force winds.
The good news is it might cancel the Gloria Estefan concert  My grandma LOVES her so *I* had to get her tickets and now Im stuck going

I live in South Carolina and they keep telling us we have to keep our eye on this one. Great. And can y'all believe that Ivan is going to strike the US again? I can never recall a hurricane doing this before--going all the way up the East Coast and then working it's way back down and around again!

These things totally suck... I know that i'm not as scared as I was when I went through Charley, Charley was my first one; Jeanne will be my third ~ i'm hoping that my bedroom window stays secure lol It keeps creaking.

Yeah we're getting smacked by Jeanne this week too... I'm getting sick of these things. Damn. Ironically, my grandmother's name is Jeanne and my aunt's house was smacked around a bit by her last night. My aunt lives in Titusville on the "Space Coast."

Okay - I am playing with my Scottie Laine (Holiday Laine (ee the pooh) ) - and I hear a huge truck go by announcing over a loud speaker "The City of Atlanta is ordering the evacuation of this area - all residents are being asked to leave."
I HATE HURRICANES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
