Christine's had the most Top 40 hit singles, and Lindsey has been the most critically acclaimed and respected, both within the band and as a solo act.

I've had ONE Lindsey song I've voted for in this entire game. While I've voted against two Christine songs and two Stevie songs.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I'm looking around the current 'Tusk Survivor,' and I really don't see hordes of Stevie Fans coming out of the woodwork to "save their queen."

I'm pretty much seeing all of the same "faces" I saw in the last 'Tusk Survivor,' with just a few additions here and there (some of whom, are voting in Lindsey's favor). :shrug:

Like I said, Lindsey still has four songs in the top 10, and while Stevie has five, that one-song lead won't last forever... so, other than the fact that Christine only has one song remaining, it seems pretty balanced to me.

I just want to say that I seriously hope no one thinks I can be "bribed" into a decision, pro or con. (And really, bumping off Lindsey's songs wouldn't be a smart way to try and bribe me in the first place, since I love Lindsey too.)

Beyond that, I don't make the decisions around here... it's a democratic process involving the moderators. And as I've said before, I'm just one vote out of several.

Immunity for an entire round is not the same as one vote. and changing one vote is not even the same as changing a vote CAUSE YOU ACCIDENTALLY PICKED A SONG THAT WAS VOTED OUT ALREADY. In effect, his vote was not a vote at all. He might as well have left it blank, because it was impossible to vote for the song he put. It's not like he picked a song that was eligible, then changed it. But i see you will follow the RULE. This is how law and gov't become unfair, too :D

It's sort of a non-song, but therefore it deserves ALOT of credit, being the flagship of what Lindsey wanted to state with this album towards audience industry, his own band, and maybe even himself. That one being the first single as follow-up of the biggest commercial succes in history, was more punk then punk itself.

Actually it is specifically in the rules that you can't do that, so penalizing makes sense.

Having said that, I'm not desperately clinging to the hope that "Sara" MUST win.
I have four remaining songs... two Stevie, two Lindsey... that I have my sights set on for the top spot.

Actually that's not true. The last three times I came in here and tried to give immunity to songs other than Sara (you might remember my successful attempt at Storms which you referred to as a either a waste or stupid, I can't remember which, but you convinced me to go back to Sara as a smarter or non-wasted decision).

Sara didn't have immunity quite early on and I submit that not everyone wanted it gone so soon, like when we got rid of it in the fourth round in the first game. But since then, people are dying to see it go. ;)

The biggest reason "Sara" is vulnerable (beyond the votes of about 4 or 5 people who seriously dislike it), is the whole "revenge against the Chiffon Heads" mentality.
Since it's been decided that "Sara" is the favorite song of the much-hated "Chiffon Heads," it was decided that that was the song to attack.

It started in the first 'Tusk Survivor,' with the calls to eliminate "Sara," and help push "Save Me A Place" to the end.
And the talk of blocking the "Chiffon Heads" from allowing Stevie to win.

It's the whole reason "Sara" has had immunity so often in Nancy and Rezamatic's new 'Tusk Survivor.'

It was obvious people were gunning for "Sara," and it was obvious why. And if you back people into a corner, they're going to come out fighting.



By the way, I should point out that I'm a Virgo... we're never deluded or hysterical. We're logical, methodical, and extremely observational... to a fault.
