I’m a war president.
February 8, 2004
Nobody wants to be a war president. I’m a peace president.
July 20, 2004
I have a clear vision and a strategy to win the war on terror.
July 14, 2004
I don’t think you can win (the war on terror).
August 30, 2004
I want justice (for Bin Laden). And there’s an old poster out West...that says, ‘Wanted: Dead or Alive.’
September 17, 2001
I don’t know where (Osama Bin Laden) is. You know, I just don’t spend that much time on him... I truly am not that concerned about him.
March 13, 2002
You can’t distinguish between al Qaeda and Saddam when you talk about the war on terror.
September 25, 2002
We’ve had no evidence that Saddam Hussein was involved in September 11th.
September 17, 2003
If we don’t stop extending our troops all around the world in nation-building missions, then we’re going to have a serious problem coming down the road.
October 3, 2000
We will be changing the regime of Iraq, for the good of the Iraqi people.
March 6, 2003
We found the weapons of mass destruction. We found biological laboratories...for those who say we haven’t found the banned manufacturing devices or banned weapons, they’re wrong, we found them.
May 29, 2003
We haven’t found stockpiles yet, and there’s theories as to where the weapons went. They could have been destroyed during the war. Saddam and his henchmen could have destroyed them as we entered into Iraq. They could be hidden. They could have been transported to another country...

Again, W has fulfilled NONE of his promises.
He said he wqould balance the budget, be fiscally responsible, and create jobs
Instead, he now has the largest deficit in the history of the U.S. MOST OF WHICH IS NON 9/11 and IRAQ related (see current Vanity Fair article (Reese Witherspoon on the cover))
whatever jump start the tax cuts provided has been eliminated by the record deficit spending and there is no end in sight, despite Greenspans' repeated warnings
NONE of the new jobs he boasted his plan would create have appeared
He said he'd be a uniter not a divider -
The Nation has NEVER been more divided
He has used gay people and their cries to be accepted as ordinary tax paying U.S. citizens as scapegoats to gather support for him - after all gay people deserve inly pity and are horrible sinners and although we'll take their tax money and look the other way, we just cannot do that when it would give them the same tax break as "ordinary" married heterosexuals ( ) After all, isn't it easy to hate to fags and their silly and immoral ways - AND heterosexuals are a bastion of morality when it comes to marriage
He has used and condoned open lies about military records to divert attention away from questions about his long absences from his cush position while these people he attacked were in Vietnam
He said he would go to war "only as a last resort" and Cheney and others said they "knew" where the WMD were -
No WMD have been found and most admit they never were there, the intelligence failed, etc. (Note - SH was a jerk and I am glad he is gone, I am just objecting to the methodical lying used by W and his cronies to get rid of SH)
Instead, he brought us into a war that a little patience with the inspections may have prevented
He lied about the cost of the war and tols us the Iraqi oil would pay for it
He rushed into the invasion of Iraq without any plan to win the peace, without any exit strategy, with inadequately trained national guardsmen who have committed atrocities in the prisons that might have been prevented with proper training
According to his military advisors before, during, and after the invasion of Iraq, too few troops were used.
He said he would keep us safe -
Although he invaded Afganistan (which I submit ANY sitting Pres. could have done  - he failed to capture SH and Al-Q and others are still very strong as evidenced by the routine raises in the alert levels that THEY control
So, if I had an employee who had ruined my company the way this bozo has America, I would fire him on the spot no matter how allegedly altruistic he professed his intentions to be. AND - anyone would be better in the position IMO because no one could have done worse than miserably failing ALL goals. Yet, people still want to vote for this guy - I will never get it - ever.
In fact, here is the latest HORRIBLE news from his insane, inana, and ineffective economic plan:
Congress' deficit forecast worsens
Analysts say deficit will hit $2.29 trillion in 10 years; earlier forecast was $2.01 trillion.
September 7, 2004: 12:25 PM EDT
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The U.S. budget deficit will balloon to $2.29 trillion over the next decade, congressional analysts said Tuesday. This represents a worse outlook than previously forecast and one likely to stir election-year debate about President Bush's economic policies.
The forecast from the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office compares to its March outlook for a cumulative deficit of $2.01 trillion for the 2005-2014 period, if current economic policies stay the same.
"The outlook in terms of the deficits in 2004 and 2005 has improved, but the projection of the cumulative deficit over the 2005-2014 period has worsened," the CBO said in a summer update of its budget outlook.
The CBO confirmed a preliminary forecast made in August for a record deficit of $422 billion for the 2004 fiscal year.
That number compares to the White House's latest deficit outlook of $445 billion for this year and was better than earlier estimates. The White House no longer provides a 10-year deficit forecast.
CBO is expecting the deficit to decline to $348 billion in 2005, if current laws and policies do not change.
"This report underscores that our policies are working to create a stronger economy, more jobs and a lower deficit," said House of Representatives Budget Committee Chairman Jim Nussle, an Iowa Republican.
The economy, particularly the deficit, has become a key theme between the two presidential candidates.
Bush blames the 2001 recession, the costs of the aftermath of the Sept. 11 attacks and the war on terror for the growing budget shortfall.
Democrats say Bush's tax cuts are responsible for turning the surplus he inherited into a record deficit, which they say threatens the future of Social Security and the Medicare health-care program for the elderly.
"Only George W. Bush could celebrate over a record budget deficit of $422 billion," Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry said in a statement Tuesday.
Kerry said he has a plan to restore fiscal discipline, rein in "out of control" spending and cut the deficit in half in four years.
CBO warned that even if the economy grows more rapidly than projected, "significant long-term strains" on the budget will get worse within the next decade as the baby-boomers begin to retire.
The report projects economic growth of 4.5 percent in 2004 and a slightly slower 4.1 percent next year.
CBO also forecasts that the federal government will reach its $7.384 trillion debt limit in October.
The U.S. Treasury has asked Congress to raise the borrowing ceiling for the third time in three years, a sensitive vote Republicans would like to avoid ahead of the election.

And did y'all notice how sweaty he was? WTF is up with that?
You know, if he were a Democratic candidate, the media would have assembled a panel of psychologists to discuss his frequent verbal blunders and a team of doctors to discuss his frequent "accidents" and body sweat issues. But since he's a Repug--no one says a word. Nothing--they see and hear NOTHING!

Topic A with Tina Brown had on a panel of psychologists who suggested that Bush tortured animals as a child and suffers from a severe case of dyslexia. ;)

I've seen speculation that he could suffer from some seizure disorder of some kind. We know from Bob Woodward's last book that he takes some type of medication twice a day although the WH won't release the details of what those medications are. I guess the public doesn't have a right to know what medical disorders their president might have.
BTW--did you know that animal torture is a major (shared) trait of many serial killers?

We only have the right to know if he is getting blow jobs. All else is off-limits. ;)

Just watch West Wing for the answer to that! :D
Actually, I'd say that Dubya's "disorders" are "mental" rather than "medical".
