For all you NPR addicts out there...

So I got my pictures back from this summer....and thought I would post some of them - since I am still so excited about meeting some of the folks I met - I mean I LOVE NPR - so working there was awesome...and meeting some of my heroes was even cooler.....

So this first one is me (in orange) with Susan Stamberg (sitting next to me) and Linda Wertheimer (standing)

Okay - these photos look really crappy on my computer...so hopefully they won't look like that on others...they didn't look this bad on a different computer - I'm hoping it's just mine...

Anyway...here I am with Steve Inskeep (host of Morning Edition) - he's on the left....and Juan Williams who is on the right :)

Surreal. Radio personalities never look anything like I expect they would.

Only Terry Gross resembled my image of her.

Very cool. I love my NPR and feel all out of sorts when I'm driving somewhere out of the area of a good NPR station.
I don't know how I pictured Linda Wertheimer and Susan Stamberg looking, but not like that!
And yes, Teri Gross looks just like she sounds.
I know Diane Rehm works at WAMU and not the actually NPR, but did you have a chance to meet her somehow? I love her. She does NOT look as bad as she sounds sometimes on the radio.

I lived right by WAMU and kept meaning to go over there- but never made it, so no, I never met Diane Rehm :(

There are a lot of people at NPR I saw regularly but didn't actually meet. They include Robert Siegel (we rode the elevator together many a time), Nina Totenberg (diva reputation), Noah Adamns, Corey Flintoff....I just never got up the nerve to actually speak to these people...

It was a blast though, and I really want to end up back there sometime...not to mention the guy I had a gigantic crush on...sigh...I miss seeing him daily haha...he's probably relieved that the weird intern who always seemed to be staring at him is gone haha...

Anyway, here I am with Michelle Norris - one of the All Things Considered hosts :)
