Well, Theresa (bikerchic) and I just had our first "Mac-Fest" this weekend. We sat & watched boot after boot, it was great. It should hold me over for a little while, as far as my Mac addiction goes. Anyway...

What was going on at Woodstock in 1998 that Stevie was there? I know the infamous anniversary shows were 94 & 99, so I'm confused.

If I'm not mistaken they used to have annual Woodstock anniversary concerts before '99 screwed it all up. Stevie was on her Enchanted tour in '98 and her people got her the gig.

I remember watching it live over the internet. That version of "Has Anyone Ever Written Anything for You" made be bawl!

Isn't that the "Day in the Garden" thing? With the pouring rain?

Or is that a different show all together?

It wasn't officially titled "Woodstock" but it was held on the orginal site. "A Day In The Garden" was a three day festival which featured Stevie and Don Henley as the headliners for the first day of the event (day two was Joni Mitchell and day 3 was 3rd Eye Blind and a few other big named bands). Stevie flew in from NYC in a helicopter in the pouring rain (this was the same weekend in which she would film VH1's Storytellers, btw) and performed an amazing show despite the weather. HAEWAFY was absolutely amazing and I still get teary eyed when I watch it (in fact, i'm crying on the bootleg version with a bunch of people  )This was Stevie's last show on 1998's Enchanted Tour.

Do you have the full show on tape or just partially? I'd love to have a full copy. Let me know!

Apparently the reason got so emotional at that show is because Lindsey was watching from the side of the stage...I've seen a very bad quality clip of HAEWFY and she is pointing to the side of the stage at one point, but I agree it is an amazing rendition.

I always thought that it was because it was the last show of the tour.

It's a GREAT show (she lets out this Tarzan yell during Edge that cracks me up every time!), but it's soooooooooooooooooo snowy.

This show is up now ( I think considering Stevie's shows it's GREAT quality) at Fleetwood Mac Trade and Download. This is the first time I've heard any of the show, and I'm in love with it already. It's from the first 3 tracks my favorite Stevie show. It even beats the Street Angel shows. I never tbhought an Enchanted show would have so much energy. Even freaking DREAMS had some rare spontanious yells. Thunder only Happens When It's Raining... NOT TONIGHT. Which I guess after hearing about the rain makes sense. Can those who have the full show tell me if the rest of the show lives up to the first 3 tracks. If Dreams is great then I expect Rhiannon to be pretty darn good too.

Mine's not snowy but the image is a tad distorted. It's one of the better tapes that I have.

Mine is on a tape with Largo '75 and the uncut Storytellers and it's very snowy. It's still highly watchable and one of the better vids out there, but it looks like Stevie has lice.

Oh no! I think that show is one of the most impassioned I've seen out of Stevie since Silver Springs on The Dance. I also love it when she tells the stage hands "Scrub those floors!" and then cracks up.

I know, that kills me!

It is a fantastic show. Like I said, I love that Tarzan yell she lets out during Edge, it cracks me up. Rhiannon is quite good, too, she's very into the show and interacts with the audience a lot.
