Well my time at NPR is pretty much over...and now I move on to the new part of my life- full-time employment...at least I'll be doing what I love...and that's awesome....
This summer has helped me map out some long term goals - ultimately I'd like to end up back at NPR in the future...it was a great place to work - if only for a summer :)
So, I've attached a little photo of me titled "someday" haha...I took it while I was in an actual NPR studio doing some work for an upcoming series from The Kitchen Sisters...
So anyway, just as I'm getting used to DC it's time to go...sucks, and now I'll have to adjust to Rochester...and, yes, I know...the winters
haha...anyway...just a small update and snazzy shot of me in a studio :)

Those are cutie pictures! What, exactly, do you want to do? Be on the radio, apparently, but doing what? Your internship is already waaay cooler than any job i've had! :D Congrats! :wavey:

See, and we knew you back when you were stressed about your future after graduation.
Now you've mapped long term goals. :wavey:

Thanks!
Anyway - what do I want to do...
I want to continue being a reporter...
I've been reporting (part-time) for three 1/2 years, now (in my new job) I will be a full-time reporter and program host (local host for All Things Considered).
I want to stay in public radio - and eventually I'd love to end up back at NPR...I've been telling people that one day - I want Susan Stamberg's job
Really though - I love public radio and I love reporting and producing...so I hope to keep doing those things and getting better at those things.
This week I'm doing a little feature on the Bush/Kerry appearances at this conference I'm attending. If it doesn't suck I'll post the link and y'all can hear my story - if it sucks...I'm not posting it
