Has anyone been watching the second season? I didn't think this show could get any trashier.
I have to say, I'm so glad that got rid of that damn kid Wilbur. That story went on for way too long. Next weeks episode looks fantastic!!!

I didn't watch it much during the first season - but now I tune in whenever I notice it's on. It's not on my "must see" list, Lord knows I'm too much of a TV junkie as it is...but that one episode recently, with the p*ssy face lady - LOL!!!

 I? Was on the floor. That whole story was hysterical.
The first season just came out on DVD in June and I've been playing it for ages while I work. ;) It has tons of deleted scenes that are just as good as what ended up in the episodes. The one episode from season one where Sean's mistress euthanized herself gets me every time, it's such a tearjerker.

I really didn't like the show the first season. I watched a few random episodes and found the characters despicable. Actually felt the writers had contempt for them to an unreal level. But, late in the season I watched a few others and they had fleshed them out and made them more three dimensional. Now I watch every week. The only thing that bugs me is that freakish looking actor who plays Matt. He looks like some kind of alien. Truly odd looking, that kid.
BTW a good friend of mine decorates the show, and I got to tour the sets. They are BETTER in person. Ava's living room, with the yellow sofa, wild black and white rug, and sculpture garden, is awe inspiring. Excellent work. Christian's apartment is also great - with the see through shower over the bed. Hell, they're all good sets.

I was half afraid you were taking up after darklinensuit and were going to ask if we had any surgery. ;)

The sets just look awe-insipring on TV, I can't imagine how good they look in person, you lucky ****! :xoxo:
And I always thought Matt looked just like Jacko with a better stylist.

Nope, nothing here: no peels, no saline, no plastic, no silicon, but I've seen some amazing work, Jacko aside.
I had the same reaction when I saw "boxers" as the title of a thread. Boxers or Briefs? ;)

I just saw the pussy lips episode which is the first episode I've seen. It definitely is a trashy but very entertaining show. And I agree that the Matt guy is one of the strangest, ugliest looking guy I've seen. I'm surprised he actually made it on TV with his weird looks.

I absolutely love this show. LOVE IT. Next week is going to get ugly. I like Shawn's character a lot. I hope that he can save his marriage. And yes I agree Matt is one weird looking kid.

On the TV guide channel, they interviewed the guy who plays Matt. He's actually 26 years old

I saw that show once, but i don't have cable. When i do get cable, it will be on my must see. I love that guy, he's so cute, the one who used to be on Profiler and Charmed :xoxo: He reminds me of "Jake" from the old series "Jake and the Fatman" and I had a SERIOUS young crush on that guy.
Anyway, I haven't had surgery, cause i'm thirty, but i'm saving - it's on my list. I'm going to get laser skin whatever, and a vein on my leg removed. I'll probably get a little forehead botox, I already have lines there - You know, from being suprised - "really?!"(raises eyebrows here) and incredulous - "no.way! Seriously??!" (raises eyebrows here)
I'm pretty sure i'll want a breast lift, but last time i checked they said they couldn't do that without also putting in implants. I don't want that, I want them small but high! :woohoo: so we'll see.

I read that...
{SPOILER}
...Julia becomes a drug addict and almost dies because of it, then uses it to try to get Sean back. She has to have surgery and while she's under, she has a dream about what her life would've been like if she ahd married Christian.

I would definitely have surgery if I could afford it! I would love one of those extreme make-overs!

now that "24" is off season, nip/tuck is my no. 1 series. it's very radical and very fast paced, which is exactly what i love in my series (exept B&B  )
i think Matt's character looks alot like michael jackson's son, or like a strange plastic doll.
and pip, you can easily download season 2, i watch it on dvd, commercials free, instead of waiting till winter when it airs here.
