PBS Soundstage now has Yes's 35th Reunion scheduled for September 30. I wonder if LB asked that the air date be postponed to coincide with a new solo CD (just speculating). I am so bummed. This concert was fantastic and have been waiting for almost a year to see it. Oh well, if you are an LB fan, you must learn to be patient.

Are you serious?! Geez Louise! Sigh....well, you could be right, let's hope so. As long as they don't scrap it totally, that would make ZERO sense and then I'd have to go to prison...ya know, for murder!

As a Lindsey fan, i've come to expect this sort of thing :distress: . I just hope that when PBS does in fact air Soundstage that they won't just select certain cities as seems to be the case with some of the other episodes. As far as the solo CD is concerned? I'll believe that when I see it. And had I not known people who attended Soundstage, I would think that never happened

I know that when VH1 did their 'Behind The Music' on Lindsey, they held it back for a while and delayed it a couple of times, in order to time it closer to the release of 'Gift Of Screws.'
Eventually they decided to just air it (with some of the narration altered)! (Four months after it finally aired, Lindsey was mulling over whether or not to release it as a solo, or fold it into a Mac release. Good thing VH1 didn't hold it any longer than they already had.)
So it's possible that PBS is holding Lindsey's 'Soundstage'... but hopefully they won't hold it back for too long (I'm dying to hear "Murrow"!!!).

PBS sucks in general - I emailed them to complain about the fact that they are airing Soundstage at 1am on Friday nights here in Buffalo & I got a reply saying it gets more viewers at that time than it did when it was Thursdays at 10pm (dur - opposite ER? Jerks!)
Anyway - maybe (MAYBE) LB asked them to do this - if he puts out a solo album, this would be good PR at that time (like a year from now.) Of course, by then, the material he performed for Soundstage would be kind of old. Just a thought.

I just went to Soundstages web site and it still has Lindsey's show listed as premiering Sept 2004. Where are you seeing the later airdate?

I visited the following site: http://www.wttw.com/soundstage/season2.html
For the longest time it had Lindsey listed for Septmember 30. Then it changed to Yes's 35th Anniversary during the past several days. I e-mailed Soundstage and they repled that Lindsey's show is now "tentatively schedueld for Season 3" (which would begin in June of 2005. No other explanation from Soundstage.
I wrote and asked about re-scheduling and got the same response. The message said: "Don't fret, Lindsey Buckingham's show is tentatively scheduled for Season 3." That was immediately followed with an invitation to visit their e-store and buy Fleetwood Mac's Soundstage DVD. That kind of left me with the impression that maybe they decided to scoot Lindsey's show to a different season because Fleetwood Mac already got a 2-hour special this season. As it was, they'd already tried to put as much room between the FM show (being the first of the season) and Lindsey's show (being the last of the season) on the schedule anyway.

It was an awsome show! Yet the one thing I keep remembering was how Stevie wouldnt look at the audience. It was quite obvious as well as a little strange.
Again, awsome show though!!!

That is the site for your local PBS affiliate and it's your local schedule, not the schedule for the rest of the country.
That is not the schedule for everyone! :wavey:

Yes. We'll probably never hear a live snippet of Frozen Love again.
