Anyone get it yet? Make sure you pay in cash or else Asscroft will get your name and information without a warrant. ;)
I was told it's $10 and it's a paperback.

Lemme tell ya, I've been reading it for the last hour and a half and I'm quite underwhelmed. It leaves more unanswered questions than anything, if you ask me. It seems to me that they were so worried about pissing someone off that they refused to say anything concrete. So far, all they've said is the same thing that other report said two weeks ago. I got mine on sale for $5, too.

Anyone see the press conference today?
Thomas Kean flat-out lied and said Richard Clarke approved Saudi flights.

Glad you got it on sale. I kinda figured that's how it would be, I mean, could they really publish the uncensored one? Probably not in the best of times (not as fascist) and certainly not now. It's too bad, though - like, why spend all the money for the report, to have it be so nothing?
Richard Clarke has said he didn't approve the flight, yes?

In his testimony, he said that he refused to approve the Saudi flight and sent it to the FBI for approval. He gave them all the names ont he flight manifest to investigate and Dale Watson approved them. Now, the flight manifest was published yesterday and there are 25 Saudi's on the flight. In the 9/11 Commissions report, they claim there were only 23. They're full of ****.

Thomas Kean is a Republican...and the chairman of the Commission. That might explain why he did.
They are, however, very critical of Condi Rice and Asscroft, IMO.

Well, yeah, but that explains why he did it about as well as saying...."I murdered him cause i wanted to" I mean, it's still just a lie. Seriously, when people ask him "Why did you lie and say Richard Clarke OK'd the flight?" He's not gonna be able to say "Why, because i'm a Republican...And the chairman of the Commisssion!" How weird.

Anyone see the press conference today?
missed it, Had to drive Deb to the Radiation MD in OKC to setup the 4 weeks of Radiation treatments (Just to make sure the cancer is completely gone. So now instead of having a 40% reoccurrence, That number will be around 15%...Much better odds in OUR opinion, Even after the 4 weeks of sessions, 5 days a week, 200 miles round trip it will be worth it.)
What did I miss?
Btw, I didnt see a copy of the 9/11 report, But I did pay $14.99 for the new "The Best Of Both Worlds-Van Halen" 2 cd set.

That's good news!
You just missed Thomas Kean bloviating for the cameras. He lied over and over and over and over and the press ate it up. There was only one panel member who had the balls to stand up and say what was on his mind: that he wasn't optimistic that anything would come of the report.
